I’m here for weekend(now) check-in at 10/10/2025 this hotel with my husband, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The room we were given was right next to what seemed to be a staff break room — where employees were talking eating and using the microwave throughout the day and night. The smell of food constantly came through the door that connected their room to ours, making the entire room smell unpleasant.
When I called the front desk, he told me the hotel was fully booked and that they couldn’t move us to another room. He said they would send someone to “remove the smell,” but HOW? That didn’t make sense since the odor was coming from the staff room next to ours, not inside our room.
I completely understand that staff members need to eat, but guests also deserve a peaceful and comfortable environment. It’s impossible to relax when there’s a strong smell of food all the time.
To make things worse, when we first arrived, the front desk staff didn’t even greet us. Three employees were standing around chatting while my husband and I had to figure out on our own where to check in before anyone bothered to help us.
Overall, this was a very unpleasant stay and definitely not worth the money.
Since I couldn’t do anything about the situation and they couldn’t move us to another room, the only thing I can do is share my experience here — so that my voice might help others make a better choice.
