Really nice hotel. The things I care most about in a hotel are a quiet room and a good bed. This place was perfect for both of those things. Really quiet and easy to rest. The bedding is clean and well maintained and the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. The filtered water with bottles is super convenient. Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of this hotel is excellent, and the rooms are well-equipped, clean, and very comfortable. The toilets were spotless, and overall, the property seemed well-maintained and designed for a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by the behavior of the staff, which left me extremely disappointed. Upon check-in at night, I had a minor injury and was bleeding. I requested first aid from the front desk lady, only to be told that no first aid was available in the hotel. Later, she mentioned having bandages but insisted I come downstairs to collect them myself. This lack of empathy and assistance was shocking—if someone is injured and asks for first aid, it’s evident they may not be in a position to walk around. This response was not just inconvenient but also showed a serious gap in staff training and customer care. It’s frustrating that such an otherwise great hotel with clean facilities and a perfect location could be ruined by a lack of basic empathy and professionalism. I will not return to this hotel, nor would I recommend it to others. The management needs to prioritize staff training and ensure that guests receive the care and attention they deserve.

Very unfortunate to have picked such a hotel to stay for my father’s 70th birthday, which was ruined. Nobody should ever stay under those conditions in a hotel. It is not my job to make reports because I’m not an auditor that works for the health department. I’m a regular civilian using your hotel. Here is my feedback:beds are tiny if you’re over 6ft, toilet flushes, but the water keeps running and it’s very annoying hearing it all night long, the tub water, which is nasty stays in the tub forever, after waiting for the water to disappear we would have to wash our feet once again. We were there five days and only one time they came in our room to clean up. Maybe health department should come and do some auditing. The only area that was clean and no issues was the lobby and the coffee machine was great. Also, if you are driving there, you’ll be spending $34 per night in parking which is mentioned nowhere online. it was not a good experience at all. I’d stay away in the future!

The hotel was in the perfect location for my needs and that’s where the positives about this property ended. I love a good historic hotel but this one was in deep need of some renovations and touch ups. The biggest disappointment was how my room was prepared for my arrival…. Or not prepared. The pictures reflect how it looked when I arrived. The toilet paper wasn’t reset. The coffee supplies weren’t replaced. And someone had obviously recently laid on the bed, used the phone, and then left. They left a brown bag along with some trash on the floor. The room looked so disheveled that I thought maybe I had been given a room someone was already staying in. In hindsight, I should have requested service or another room but the issues were so small and I was only there for two nights, I let it go and just wrote it off to bad house keeping. I wouldn’t mind staying here again if they did some renovations (and gave me a clean room).

I will keep it short and sweet. This hotel is a bate and switch when advertised. The rooms prior to booking appear much larger then they actually are in person. From the second I pulled up to the hotel customer service went downhill. Valet was on his phone and didn't even open the door for me. You would think at $58/night for storage they would do something? Moving into the lobby the two individuals did not greet me but simply pointed to the check in kiosk. It blew my mind that I basically did the entire service of checking-in including magnetizing my own key card.. I then turned to them and said "must be nice to have the customer do all the work" which they both shrugged. I wont be returning and this hotel needs to take a hard look at their customer experience. The room smelled awful, couldn't get hot water, and overall i was ready to get out.

Location was great but the King Size bed was really just 2 twin beds pushed together. The room was about the size of a large walk in closet. With only 3ft space between the bed & wall. It was good for a 1 night stay if you have no intentions of actually being in the room except to sleep. You can literally see the separation between the mattresses in my picture & yes, you can feel it when you sleep as well. The staff was amazing tho.

To be honest I didn’t expect much from this hotel as i got a good deal for what I paid. But everything was just perfect. Centrally located, no frills but clean and comfortable. Lifts work great. Spacious rooms. Firm mattress and good coffee in the lobby. Will definitely stay here again if I ever come to Houston for work in the future

My husband and I had an amazing experience staying at the Club Quarters Hotel Downtown. Excellent location. A beautiful building. Quiet and clean. The gym, the laundry area, the lobby, the coffee bar, the restaurant on site, everything was spectacular but especially the customer service. Their staff members are friendly, professional and resourceful. Always willing to help and with the best attitude. Congratulations for your great service!|This is the best hotel in downtown Houston. They exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for the best location, comfort and excellent service.
