A dinner night that was supposed to be pleasant but ended unexpectedly. We were served with a literally raw pizza, and to our surprise, the bill was brought to us without being asked. The buffet was poor.

Well. the place is great. an oasis of tranquility. most of the staff is very friendly and welcoming. giving 4* for the messed arrival. there were many ants in the bathroom, wc did not flush, towel holder fell from the wall and we ended up for two hours without electricity. after this was fixed by their excellent and super nice engineer, the rest of the stay was superb

Very peaceful location, set at the end of a bumpy road carved into the rainforest. The food at breakfast and dinner is all buffet style and was perfectly adequate with occasional touches of brilliance eg the fish carpaccio and the rice/fish stews. Lots of fresh fruit at breakfast and an egg station, plus good coffee make the breakfast a great start to the day. The bungalows are a good size and the bed was extremely comfortable. They do feel a bit outdated and the A/C temperature display is bright enough to act as a safety light at night. Water temperature/ pressure was intermediate but certainly sufficient to shower with and the WiFi signal was excellent all around the resort. I can just imagine that in a few years some hotel guru will pump millions of euro in, and turn it into an extremely luxurious resort.

We had a disappointing experience at this resort. Initially, we only wanted to visit the cafe. Despite the resort being completely empty, the receptionist informed us that we’d need to pay a 20€ day fee and necessarily have a reservation, just to get a coffee. While we were surprised by the policy, we decided not to stay. Out of curiosity, we asked if we could at least see the private beach, thinking it might be worth a return trip, but we were told we could only have a quick look if escorted by security. This resort felt like an unfriendly, overpriced bubble that didn’t reflect the true spirit of Sao Tome. It seems more suited to guests looking for isolation than those wanting to explore and enjoy the local culture.

We were a group of 6 adults, but the resort can definitely also cater for children! ||||The bungalows are neat, clean & spacious, with modern bathrooms. ||The restaurant food is delicious. Menu is not very big, but good variety. ||The pool and beach area is beautiful and lush. ||The views are picturesque all over the property.||The staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. ||We enjoyed scuba diving at the island opposite the resort. Another member of our group went fishing. ||||Really enjoyed our stay! Oh and the massage room is a dream!!

I went with my family and had an amazing day in the pool and beach areas. I would definitely recommend however book this in advance to avoid disappointments. As they operate with advanced booking. The only negative would be the price to spend the day at the beach/pool area which is 20 euros each. Children don't pay discounted rates.

This hotel is in a great location with a private beach and a lovely clean pool. Our Bungalow was clean and had everything we needed with extras like flip flops and bathrobes. Also had a great sea view. We stayed out of season so the hotel was very quiet. This all meant the restaurant at night was quiet and the menu was limited. Having said that the food was delicious and the service very good. Staff were great, very friendly and most spoke reasonable English.

We have been at the Club for lunch. We made a reservation for a special Christmas lunch a week before. When we arrived the staff told us that there was a ceremony of some embassy and we could not have lunch at the restaurant and the option was a buffet. We have organized our day thinking in to have a good lunch at the resort, so we accepted the alternative, but we are some disappointed with the situation. Knowing about our reservation, you had to sent an e-mail telling us the change giving the option to change or accept.
