I would recommend staying at this location It is far away from the main Flamenco beach. Also, in the region where this hotel is located, there is a lot of seaweed. So it stinks. However, their staff is great. They are very helpful. The lady at the front desk helped us to get golf carts. She actually dropped us off there. The toilet was not clean enough, but overall, experience was positive

This was such a great and romantic spot to stay! It’s remote and quiet which made for a more romantic setting, and all of the staff at the resort are amazing and go above and beyond! They even kept the bar/restaurant open for us later than they needed to since my boyfriend and I hadn’t had anything to eat all day when we had arrived. Highly recommend! The only thing I’d add is that it is not within walking distance of anything, so having a golf cart or car rental will be necessary for some meals and exploration.

Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel. Free breakfast and kayaks were a plus. We felt very relaxed! Thank you Carlos.

Carlos the manager, and staff are very friendly and very eager to assist you. Surrounding with beautiful views and exotic garden, peaceful ambiance. We always enjoy our stay.

My husband and I had the most amazing time here. Glad we changed our reservation to come here instead of our first booking elsewhere. ||Carlos, the property manager, is top notch! He made sure our stay was nothing short of perfect. He picked us up at the airport and drove us the next day to pick up our car rental. I love fresh coconuts and noticed the coconut trees in the property but as they only serve breakfast it’s not in their menu offering. I asked for the possibility of getting some as we were heading to the beach and they were ready for us when we got back chilled in the bar fridge. They have a bar and although the property does not serve dinner, they have delicious tapas enough to fill us up. ||Carlos arranged for a boat tour to Culebrita and his lovely wife helped arranged a packed lunch for us. It was wonderful!!||The bartender, Jessai, is the best!!! So personable and charming. We enjoyed our almost nightly chats with him. ||All of the staff were wonderful and can’t say enough great things about Carlos, Jessai and everyone. We can’t wait to go back!!

Amazing place to stay in Culebra. Upon our arrival the manager greeted us and assisted us in all possible ways. We got a Deluxe Villa with garden view that was breathless. Clean, cozy and a bottle of champagne was waiting in the room. The swimming pool was refreshing. They also have hammocks that we enjoyed and where we relaxed! For friend and family gatherings the hotel has a a fire pit that is great for conversations all night long. The staff is courteous and makes you feel at home. In the evening we went to the bar near the deck and swimming pool. They offered us a great variety of drinks and light appetizers. We met other guests there and had a blast. Highly recommended!!!

We had a beautiful cottage with balcony and a comfortable bed. Room well appointed; bathroom with plenty of towels and a nice shower. Carlos, the manager, was consistently helpful and provided shuttle service and great conversation. We'd recommend renting a car or golf cart; we did walk back to the hotel from town one evening after the heat of the day but it's a long hike. The pool was a great amenity. A good plan is to go out to a beach in the morning or towards the late afternoon, and hang at the pool during the midday heat. The bar and bartenders were lots of fun! This side of Culebra is quiet and peaceful. We liked our stay!

Google
Definitely the nicest logging on the island. Pool was well maintained, the AC worked well, and most of all the staff was amazing. Carlos the GM is truly a hospitality professional and went out of his was to ensure we had a good experience. Laishla was also such a sweetheart! We fell in love with the island and this is definitely the place to stay! I do recommend you consider renting a golf cart or a car as it is super close to the shops downtown, but definitely would be a long walk. Can’t wait to go back!

Yelp
The only place to stay on Culebra! Affordable and gorgeous! We loved the breakfast especially the cheese ham omelette w my crafted coffee. Our daughter learned how to float in their pool! bonus - The pool is cleaned every morning. Other gems were the free library and wine for sale in the lobby. We enjoyed lounging about before visiting the best beaches in the world.

Yelp
Good and friendly service. Rooms are clean, but very outdated. The gardens are poorly kept, and the general upkeep of the complex is lacking. It looks old and neglected. Little attention to detail. Not worth the price.

Yelp
The property is gorgeous. I want to die there. We stayed at a villa down the road (Oceania, owned by Club S.), which was very lovely, and we were so happy to be able to come to Club Seabourne for breakfast and swimming. Carlos the manager is fantastic. It was a great stay :)

Yelp
Such a beautiful place. The staff if so warm and welcoming. Went for happy hour and we fell in love with this place. Limited menu but... everything on the menu was delicious. And you can easily make it your dinner.. would recommend this place highly. If you're in Culebra don't pass it up

Yelp
This was the best part of our Honeymoon! The grounds were amazing, everything from the fire pit, the hammocks and the pool; the staff was incredible, accommodating, and friendly; and the rooms were fantastic! Not even exaggerating, solid pillows, great AC, and loved the waterfall shower heads. (Also though I need these towels)

Yelp
This small boutique hotel with a pool and restaurant was just perfect for our short vacation (5 nights). We were able to take advantage of one of their May specials. And breakfast is included plus they'll pick you up at the airport. We decided to do the pick up and get our car the day after we arrived --which they also arranged for. Internet on the island can be hit or miss, so if you don't hear back via email, just call them. There was wifi by the way in the lobby area, but if you have AT&T service, you'll get perfect service in your room. We were in villa 8 which had a lovely view being the highest up. If you have challenges walking however, do be aware that the buildings (2 villas each) are on the side of a hill. To get to our room, we walked up the gravel driveway, then 2 flights of stairs. Request a lower number for less walking. The room has everything you'll need -- queen size bed, flat screen tv, mini fridge, modern small bathroom with glass enclosed shower, a sofa and chairs, good closet with shelves, in-room safe as well as bathrobes and beach towels. Only thing missing was an in room coffee maker (for my hubby). Everywhere we went, island people told us we were staying in the nicest hotel -- and after seeing some of the other tiny places, we agreed. Dinner at their restaurant was wonderful. It's open every day but Monday. See full review under Azul. Prices were comparable to others on the island. Breakfast is included each morning -- cooked to order omelette, scrambled, or fried eggs with your choice of juice, bread, tea/coffee. After exploring various beaches each day, loved being able to take a dip in their clean pool and drip dry on the sun deck. There's also an outside bar too. Btw, the grounds are well manicured. The usual roosters (they are all over the island, even at the beach!) wandering. We were only sorry that we didn't get a chance to enjoy the two hammocks. Think you'd really like this place...

Yelp
Grounds look beautiful but didn't stay there, just had breakfast. Rude staff and lousy food... McDonalds makes better eggs.

Yelp
Worst restaurant I've ever been in. Came here on Thanksgiving day with my wife and daughter. Food came out cold. After sending back, no other food appeared. After waiting forever, we just gave up and left. Worst service I've ever experienced. Don't show up hungry cause that's the way you're going to leave.

Yelp
As some of the other reviews have indicated, the staff here are amazingly attentive. They care a lot as to whether you are happy. I arrived in a not great mood after a tumultuous ferry ride - they picked me up, got me in a room and didn't worry about registration for awhile (I had a Rez). (There was no phone reception at the ferry drop off and they picked us up at the bridge down the street where we had reception. Also the reservation confirmation had two phone numbers - call both - one went to voice mail but the other was forward les to the staff member who was picking us up). They had great suggestions for food and even had bug spray to use. The cabins are rustic (we were in the family villa) but with AC and comfortable. When we had issues with the WiFi the staff moved it around so it was better. Any little thing we didn't like they immediately addressed. The main building and pool were clean and nice. Breakfast is included in the room rate, but they don't have lunch or dinner these days. Super quiet at night. Our villa had a small refrigerator but no kitchen. That was fine for us! There was a nice patio to sit outside and talk at night and satellite tv for those who wished to watch.

Yelp
We visited and stayed at Club Seabourne on our honeymoon. We wanted something "offbeat" but also wanted to indulge a bit. Unfortunately, I did not seek out information about the current tourism climate on the island of Culebra. I only found about its struggles with the ferry system and tourism industry after we had arrived. It did not influence our perception either way- we still had a blast and thought Club Seabourne was a beautiful property with taste and quality. Breakfast was included- it was a very standard meal but got the job done. The pool and the grounds are very nice. My only caution is, again, the current state of tourism on the island. We arrived happy go lucky and excited on Sunday only to find that they had closed the bar at Club Seabourne and were only opening their restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights. There was no way for us to even eat anything once we got to the hotel, as it is fairly remote. The second day on the island, we rented a golf cart and had no issues after that.

Yelp
This is the restaurant at the resort/boutique hotel Club Seabourne. It was kind of like a place you'd expect to find in Bermuda or something. It was very white (meaning the decor). It wasn't really our style - we prefer little hole in the wall places the locals go to. But, that doesn't really exist in Culebra. It's very tourist driven. The food wasn't outstanding, but I'd recommend it for a drink and an order of land crab springs rolls. They were great. The service was also great. In fact, our waiter turned out to be a guy we'd been hanging out with the night before, at The Spot. It's not a big island, so you tend to see the same faces all over the place. This could be a 4 or 5 star place for some. If you like spiffy country-club type places, you'll love it.

Yelp
We've had a great week at Club Seabourne! Nice clean room, great service and friendly staff. Highly recommend. Michelle, David, Ester and Carlos are the best. We will be back. Def get the Jeep from Jerry. Golf carts no so much fun.

Yelp
The staff was extremely accommodating; the word "no" didn't exist in there vocabulary, they always managed to fulfill a request small or large. Specifically with the staff, Nesha made our stay comfortable by answering all questions and making sure our stay at Culebra was pleasant with activities , dining and what not. Another staff member is Franchesca, which she was able to trouble shoot a serious issue we had when we left a valuable article at the hotel and have already left the island. She handled it as if it was her own personal property and we received it back which we were able to continue enjoying our vacation. The free kayaks at the hotel was a plus, they have three kayaks walking distance from the hotel; they're first come first serve with a first hour free which is enough time to have a decent experience. If no one is using the kayaks then passing that hour isn't an issue, they say first free hour to make sure if other people staying at the hotel could also enjoy them. The pool is heated so you don't want to get out and the tables chairs around the pool adds to the comfort. The breakfast hits the spot before going on those excursions, they charge the room so you don't have to wait for the check if you're on a tight schedule The Island of Culebra we recommend renting a golf cart to actually enjoy the island. Since there are numerous beaches and restaurants to far of walking distance. There are two markets on the island, one smaller for convinece before the bridge going towards town and a supermarket in town. The restaurant Dingy Dock which is after the bridge leaving town to the left, a must for dinner. When I tell you their food is to die for it's f--king amazing, every bite was heavy. Towards the late hours if they run out of certain items that means it's fresh just come earlier. Their steak is freaking amazing , ribs yum, and fish so fresh. If you're renting from Jerry's car rental and taking the ferry go to the hotel first and have them pick you up their. They told tell you that at the time of pick up only the driver is taken to the office to get the vehicle and has to come back to the ferry and get the rest of the family or partner. Getting to the island from the ferry is an ordeal and then realizing you have to wait there longer in the heat will cause stress to the beginning of the vacation , have the family cool down and unpack at their rooms while you handle the logistics. And trying to leave and enter the ferry section during that time is a nightmare, so you only want to experience it once not twice when you have to pick up an angry party. Carlos car rental has a van so they were able to take the whole family, avoid Jerrys.

Yelp
Carlos, Francesca, and the Club Seabourne staff are the best. We have been coming to Culebra and Club Seabourne two to three times a year for several years. It is our home away from home. When it came time to plan a destination family elopement, there was no better location than Club Seabourne in Culebra. From the moment we started talking with Carlos about the possibilities, his "can do" attitude was ever present. Our family occupied the entire main property and were totally impressed with the accommodations, facility, amenities, and people. Everything was amazing. Everyone said it was the best get away ever, and they will be back. While there were a few last-minute challenges, Carlos went into immediate action and came to the rescue time after time. To say that we have the utmost confidence in him, and his staff would be an understatement. While we had the ultimate celebration, we will continue to return as guests and friends for a very long time.

Yelp
Mmmmm yummy! Excellent atmosphere with delicious food. Our chef, Jose, made sure our food is what we expected and it sure exceeded our expectations. We ordered snappers and salmon. Simply delicious!! I would go back again when I visit Culebra!

Yelp
Not worth the money. Bad management, bad service, awful food. Owners please feel free to contact me. I can save you and make you lots of money. Is a great property but with inexperienced and unsophisticated management. I was born and raised in San Juan, trust me I know I can help you make lots of $$$.

Yelp
I had the best time at Club seabourne. We were welcomed by very attentive staff, we were accommodated on a very nice and spacious cottage like room overlooking the water. This is a very relaxing place. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because of the menu selections and restaurant as well as Steep prizes for dinner options.

Yelp
Hmm, kinda stuffy - white tablecloth atmosphere - for laid back Culebra. Several couples here eating in complete silence, made our party of six feel loud. That said, drinks were best we've had on the island. Food - we ordered apps - was ok but not great. It's inside and screened if the bugs are bothering you, but otherwise not a lot to recommend it.

Yelp
This is gonna be a tough review. We loved it mostly. The grounds are beautiful and we LOVED the little pool. The room was standard, but fine. The breakfast was weird, but like another person said "it got the job done". The continental was 2 pieces of toasted french bread, 2-3 pieces of pound cake, plus some fruit and marmalade. The next day I had pancakes and again, like another person mentioned, it was quite an unusual tasting pancake. I booked the room based on the website saying the restaurant would be open certain days. It was NOT open and you can't really walk to a restaurant from there. Not impressed with this at all. The bar was also closed. The restaurant and bar are beautiful, WHY are we not using them?? Nothing was open. We did get our free rum drink from the guy who works there and it was the best pina colada we had! We enjoyed the kayaks and had a great time in the pool. I'm just not sure the value is there, although, I'm not a hyper-vigilant economist and may just go back anyway. We'll see.
