We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel, which strikes the perfect balance of elegance and comfort. The common areas are tastefully decorated, creating a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, and there was always a lovely fragrance throughout the hotel. Unfortunately, due to the period, we couldn’t enjoy breakfast on the terrace, but judging by the rest of the experience, we are sure it would have been excellent as well. The staff were exceptional – always smiling, attentive, and making us feel truly at home. And the cherry on top: the hotel’s outstanding location, right in the heart of Begur, making it easy to explore the stunning surroundings. Highly recommended!

Right in the centre of the town on a traffic free street. Historic small hotel and very charming. Special mention of the manager who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

This place is trying hard to be quaint and charming and chic, and mostly succeeds. It has perhaps seen better days however. It requires some tender loving care. The rooms could do with repainting, the shower recess should be tiled, the floors redone (regrouted) and sealed again so they can be properly cleaned...etc. I can't however see an easy solution to the problem of the bedroom doors - very noisy when opening, closing and locking. Time to invest some money I would suggest.

The first night of our stay we were put in a room on the ground floor which was horrible. The pictures in the ad were misleading as the named terrace/balcony was actually directly the breakfast terrace of the hotel. This meant we could even open our curtains or a window from some fresh air and resulted us in waking up extremely early from all the other guests having early breakfast… after consultation we were move to another room the night after by the friendly staff. The management however refused to give us financial compensation for the first night. This was way to expensive for what we got…

A quirky, beautiful hotel in the middle of Begur. We booked a room with a terrace which had no shade in the afternoon. We asked Maria and Vincent if we could have a sun umbrella but the manager refused to supply one. As we were there for seven days and temperatures were up to 40 degrees we were then unable to use it. We were shown to the downstairs inside breakfast room as an alternative!

Perfectly lovely hotel. Situated in an old house in the old quarter of town it was full of charm with stone floors, high ceilings and we could hear the church bells chime the hour and a cellar where breakfast is served. Beds were so comfortable with simple modern ensuite. Breakfast was light and offered artesan cheese, meats, membrillo etc. Great for a short stay.

Nice location BUT 1. Room is humid, damp and has no windows. It’s dark and feels like a cave inside. 2. There is nowhere to hang any wet swimwear or towels on a terrace we thought we had. 3. It’s very noisy - you can hear people and plumbing. 4. The rooms are very small for 2 people. 5. There is no fridge, only one stained chair. 6. The lamps and furniture in the rooms are cheap and basic - lighting is not good. 7. Bathrooms not clean. Overall I would not recommend this “hotel” as the photos are misleading.

Stunning hotel... beautifully simple yet considered. We couldn't want for more. I will definitely come again. Special thank you to the lovely lady on reception and breakfast duties. So warm and lovely.
