You order for yourself at an electronic kiosk. Plenty of mental chairs and tables to choose from. You can also see into the kitchen. There is a bathroom on the main level and they were clean enough. The wait for the food was a bit longer than expected for a fast food joint but not unreasonable given that they appear to make everything to order. We waited about 15ish minutes. The onion rings and sassy chicken sandwich were crispy and the sweet and sour sauce was on point. I felt like my sandwich needed a few more pickles but it was tasty overall. The son of a cluck sandwich was good. The chipotle fries were decent. I'd love to see fried pickles added as a side option. I really think they fit the vibe and would be a hit. I'd certainly order some. It's a good option for a chicken sandwich. I'd go back.

WAFFLES ARE REVOLUTIONIZING THE FRIED CHICKEN GAME AND CLUCK CLUCKS IS NAILLLLLLINGGGGG IT !!! if you have any doubts about coming here, SQUASH THEM because this place is DELECTABLE. the place looks a bit dilapidated from the outside but gosh the food is delicious, and the staff are really wonderful. portions are also large and you will leave stuffed !!! (i really wish i could’ve tried the deep fried dessert waffles but alas) the cluck yeah sandwich is basically two flavourful chicken tenders stacked on top of each other, lying on a bed of tangy, crunchy, creamy coleslaw, drenched in salty chipotle sauce, sandwiched between two FANTASTIC JALAPEÑO CHEDDAR WAFFLES. like seriously the waffles were the best part — they had a nice eggy sweetness that really balanced out the savouriness of the chicken tenders, they were perfectly soft and mushy, and had a prominent cheesy cheddar taste interspersed with peppery-fresh crunches of jalapeño. the MUSHINESS and light, balancing sweetness of the waffles was seriously so addicting though, i would come back just for the waffles. they also kindly let me substitute the fries in the nashville chicken fries for onION RINGS, and i’m so glad because they were outstanding and the PERFECT side. first of all, everything was SO SAUCY, which was super satisfying and delicious in the beginning, but since the chipotle sauce is very salty, it did get a bit much at the end (which is why the waffle helped). the onion rings were hot, moist, and coated in a super crispy crunchy batter. the nashville chicken provided some hotness to it, but i’d say they didn’t really add much else and were a tad dry and underwhelming — i could probably go without the chicken next time. even though cluck clucks doesn’t have the juiciest or the freshest chicken like other toronto staples, the quality and combination of flavours in everything else honestly makes it one of the best fried chicken places in the city.

3/10 for food. 2/10 for portions. Chicken’s breading was a bit too thin. But then that was also the only part of the chicken with flavour. I don’t know what they’re doing at this store but their marinade just isn’t making it into the chicken. And their fries are seriously undersalted. Like zero salt. And they basically won’t give you an adequate amount of fries. And before you ask, no, they put out literally every condiment except for salt and pepper. And there’s only one person working during rush hour so a wait time of around 20 minutes isn’t uncommon. Also I’m pretty sure they have no functional AC and make their employees cook in +30 C conditions because when I was there it was 25 C outside and significantly hotter inside

I really liked the waffles and chicken - it was fresh, hot and tasty. The fries with chicken was average but the waffle sandwich was worth it. Just wished the tables were cleaner as ours was sticky.

This is one of the best chicken and waffles spots in the city—and it’s halal! The service was fast and friendly to everyone. Their chipotle sauce is great. This was actually my fifth time visiting, I just forgot to post about it until now! Please don't franchise; I’d hate for this brand to lose its amazing taste and service.

We got the meal for two with six pieces of chicken, chipotle fries, gravy, and waffles. This was probably the best fried chicken I have had in Toronto, perfect for those who like crispy skin, not much breading. The meat was juicy and cooked well. Food came hot and fresh. We were impressed by the generosity of the fries and the chipotle sauce. The fries were salty, but the chicken is not too salty so it was balanced well. The gravy had a robust herb seasoning taste to it. The waffles were mild without being bland, cooked to golden perfection, just a hint of sweetness and nice squishy interior. I would be interested in trying a waffle sandwich next time. The service from the two guys working last night was very friendly and helpful. I hope to come back another time.

service was very good! however, the waffle sandwich didn’t live up to the reviews even though it was recommended by the cook… chicken was very dry and was very small, waffle was too thick as well and not enough sauce or toppings in the sandwich. I don’t think it’s worth it was worth it for the price ($25 for the sandwich and wedges (was meh as well))

The best place to enjoy chicken and waffles. The food is extremely delicious and served fresh. The chicken is juicy and perfectly cooked. Their waffles are the best part about my experience.Never had such soft and subtle sweetness in the waffle before. The customer service is outstanding. They descent seating capacity. My favourite place and would highly recommend for some great chicken and waffles.

The lighting in the restaurant felt off. It was quite low. There's seating inside so you can eat in or take out. The chicken was fried well and juicy. I had chicken and waffles. There wasn't much in terms of garnish. It's good waffles and chicken though, but don't expect anything too fancy like you would get at a sit down brunch.

Man I was expecting some good fried chicken after seeing TikTok's and the good reviews on here. The service was friendly and helpful while the interior was spacious and casual - something you'd expect at a fast food spot. The fried chicken was fried well but had absolutely no flavour. It's like they didn't season it whatsoever. The Nashville hot fries were underwhelming as well. It seemed like they were running out of sauce because the chipotle aioli they put was minuscule and I ran out of it after a few bites, leaving me with dry fries and a few pieces of overcooked tenders. The tenders were hard as rock and barely had any in the fries. I'd definitely avoid this place. 1.2/5

Arrived literally a couple mins before closing time when the place was being cleaned, asked the server if they are closed he said he would accommodate my last order!!!! Such amazing customer service from Alphin, apart from the fried chicken being incredibly delicious. When I told him I am redeeming a birthday coupon, he also added in a complimentary drink to my order. Thank you so much Alphin! I am a loyal customer now as long as I am in Toronto!

Food: 4 Stars Service: 4 Stars Ambience: 4 Stars Fill Factor: Stuffed Cluck Clucks has been on my list of places to try for ages but I have always been too lazy to make the trek. So I finally decided to make the trip and I must say that it was a mistake to procrastinate on this place. I had not really looked at the menu prior to coming in so it took me a bit of time to figure out what they offered and make a decision. I ended up going with the Twaco which is described as "Boneless Breast, Jalapeno Cheddar Waffle, Shredded Cabbage, Fried Tortilla Strips, Cluck Sauce" which sounded delicious. I also ordered a side of Chipotle fries which was unfortunately way too salty for my taste. The Twaco itself was pretty good as the chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The waffle had a fairly firm texture and the taste was ok, nothing mind blowing. Overall the Twaco was pretty good and would be something I'd order again but I will definitely skip the fries. Just to add another perspective, the friends I was with ordered only the fried chicken and they were praising it so I think we can all agree the chicken is good here. In terms of service, the gentleman who took our order was friendly and was ready to give us suggestions as he may have sensed this was our first time here. He also came by to wipe our table down when he noticed us cleaning some sauce off the table so definitely appreciated that. Other than that food was ready quickly so no complaints from me. The place wasn't too big but there's ample seating and everything was bright and clean. The smell of fried chicken in the air was also a delight especially when you're hungry. Well I am glad I made the trek down to Cluck Clucks as overall I enjoyed my food. I'll definitely be back and would recommend giving this place a try if you haven't been here already.

One of the best chicken and waffles places around. Nothing fancy, just really fantastic food. If you like chicken and waffles, then give this place a try. You won't regret it.

My wife and I had a 'lazy' day and decided to order Cluck Clucks from Uber Eat. The restaurant is only a 15 minute walk from our apartment, but it was a Friday afternoon and we wanted some comfort food to go along with our Friday night movie! The delivery was swift, only taking about 25 minutes, and the food came packaged well and it was easily noticeable that everything we received was fresh (and still warm)! We ordered one of the Mother Cluckers and the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, and received fries for free (thank you Uber Eats promo!) and the only thing I can say is... Yum! From the Clucks sauce to the juicy chicken, everything was perfect and exactly what we were craving. My wife and I joke that we still have dreams about the food. We'll definitely be ordering again (or if we're not feeling too lazy, we'll venture into the restaurant). Until then, I'll keep dreaming about the food.

Really delicious fried chicken and waffles! My friend and I came here yesterday evening and we walked in to an empty shop. I got the What the Cluck combo with the chipotle wedges (actually came with maybe 5-6 freshly fried wedges), a thick hearty waffle, a drum stick and thigh. I got a Canada Dry for my pop/side drink. We also shared the Nashville chicken fries which were actually cold. They gave a good amount of sauce but I felt we would've enjoyed it more if the fries were freshly hot and crispy. It is a bit on the expensive side as I paid almost $40 for my waffle combo and the side with tips. Still, I would return to try their other offerings if I'm around Distillery District. Service was good!

This is/was the first thing I ordered after arriving for my trip to Toronto. Mostly because it seemed unique but I also read someone review saying it's amazing as a first arrival item. I was sceptical but tried the big items and WOW absolutely amazing, love the classic waffle burger and funny naming. Ordered via uber eats so can't speak on service but this was a wonderful experience and far better than the EU offerings I visited to date. Excited to see what else Toronto has this was a high bar !

Really good chicken! I got the son of a cluck which was a little spicy but good. We also ordered the spicy as cluck which was very spicy. The wedge fries were great too.

This is the first meal we had when we got off the plane in Ontario! Let's just say this place started off the food experience with high hopes ! The food was fresh and made to order. We ordered a few things to give an honest opinion and all of it was great! The chicken and waffles were great. Admittedly, the waffle had more of a mochi texture, so if you are not into that you might not enjoy it like a tradition Belgian Waffle. The chicken was moist and cooked to perfection. Even the chicken waffle sandwich was cooked well and not too messy to eat. The fries were glorious and the aioli sauce they topped them with was perfect. If I was a local, this place would see me on a regular basis. A big fan!

My husband and I were in the Friday mood. You know that feeling. Work is over, the day is close to an end and you have a great movie in front of you with your feet up. The only thing left to do is indulge. And we did just that when we decided to order cluck clucks for delivery. This was my first time trying cluck clucks after several recommendations and my expectations were exceeded by far. From the super crispy , I mean CRISPY, chicken that keeps on giving to the perfect blend of soft and sweet to spicy jalapeño kicks in the waffle - cluck clucks has quickly become one of my favourites. My husband went for the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and I went for the mother clucker, so we could try a little of both. I'm that person who puts maple syrup all over her chicken and waffles, and cluck clucks makes the best version to have it just like that. The Nashville hot chicken means business though, you're warned! Even as someone who can handle her chilli pretty well, I was reaching for more sips of my drink! Oh and the fries. Wow. The fries. That chipotle sauce with crispy potatoey goodness... I need to get myself there again!

Wanted to try Cluck Clucks in Ajax for a while and was somewhat disappointed. My daughter had the chicken strips and fries. Her fries were so over seasoned with a spicy seasoning that her mouth and lips were sore. I'm not sure what the thought process is for kids meal to make the fries spicy. I understand for my food to have some seasoning but not the kids meals to the point where she couldn't take a second bite. My food was also not as great as I anticipate. I ordered the Wednesday special sandwich and the chicken was more batter than chicken, with the same seasoning as the fries- too much of the same flavour. There was supposed to be coleslaw on the sandwich and I think there was some, but not enough to even really notice. It was soggy. The service was good and the restaurant was clean. Those are the only positives.

Everything is made to order, so it is super hot! Delicious chicken and waffles. I enjoyed the Cluck Yeah, minus the jalapeños. They also have "Happy Endings" which are just waffles and syrup or Nutella.

Pretty good, but could be much better. Ordered hot as cluck + large fries. Texturally lacking. Good flavour. What you get is waffle chicken sandwich that uses 1 waffle cut into 4 piece to make 2 quarter chicken sandwiches. The conecpt is good, who doesn't like a good chicken and waffle. But this isn't what I was looking for texturally. The waffle didn't give me that satisfying crisp on the edges. It was very 1 note in texture. Same with the chicken. It was breaded lightly but in the sandwich it felt quite mushy. The chicken breast itself was fine, it was moist and the entire sandwich had good flavour. All in all, this could of been really good if the chicken and waffle itself gave a crunch or had a crispy edge to it. What happens with the sauce is that you end up eating someting a bit too soft and mushy.

Solid 4!!! Been wanting to try them for the longest time-had made several attempts, all fail and finally today I got it in my belllayyyyy!!! So I ordered chicken and waffles and potatoes wedges with their spicy chipotle sauce.The chicken is freakin' finger licking.Super moist-super juicy-flavorful.The pieces were humongous.Their house sauce was pretty good, not overly spicy just perfect!What I found so so was the waffle it tasted pretty basic really didn't feel like a southern style waffle at all.It tasted just like ones you get at inns/express hotel breakfast.Overall all definitely a 8/10. Since it was drizzling in Toronto today I refused to be indoors like most people would like to be-I love driving in the rain and therefore opted a to-go instead of a dine in. My order taking was quick but it did take about 20 mins for my order to be made, though it wasn't even quite busy.I'll take it for a freshly made fried chicken!!! Will definitely try their sandwich with chicken breast next time I'm here. I've heard of many good things about Cluck Clucks, as they are regarded as one of the best places to get Chicken n Waffles by many media outlets and influencers. Finally, I got to see what all the hype was about! The restaurant is like fast food style where you order at the counter, or through various mobile ordering apps, and you come pick up your food when you get called. No table service and thus no need to tip. There are a good number of chairs and tables for seating, but not too comfy to encourage customers to come and go at a fast rate. Since they have an open kitchen, I took a look at how they prepare the food while I waited. I was really impressed with how fresh their foods were during my visit, as I watched my fried chicken went from the deep fried straight to my plate. I was really satisfied with how crispy my chicken turned out and it was really juicy on the inside. Since it came straight from the deep frier, it was really hot, so I took my time and savour the meal. The waffle was pretty good too and also fresh, but I found that to be kind of average to be honest, actual waffle/dessert shops do better waffles. I did like the aioli sauce however, and it went well with the waffle. It was definitely a great meal overall, and I would recommend Cluck Clucks to my friends.

Ambiance: This is more of a fast food kind of place. There's minimal seating available. It was a hot day when I went and it was even warmer inside. They are cooking the food right there so if you sit in and eat, expect to walk out smelling like it. Food: The chicken is cooked to perfection. It's very delicious! It's flavourful and not dry. Clucks clucks special. It was juicy with a lot of items in it. The chicken was very flavorful. The waffle in my opinion was dry, and the little amount of sauce they give wasn't enough. I got the sweet heat and had to get another sauce. The price on average for a meal is $15. The fries are alright. Not the greatest in comparison to other place but they get the job done. I wish they would have at least syrup on each table.

Chicken and waffles is a combination that I wasn't sure I'd quite like. However, after coming across Cluck Cluck's, I decided to give it a try. It took me a while to get used to the taste and to process that I was having chicken with waffles but it wasn't long before I fell in love with the food because the chicken was made fresh and I could taste the freshness too! I love the sauces used and that the food was served hot. I visited twice within a few months as I loved it so much. I brought the leftovers home and my family loved it just as much.

Cluck cluck's is a nearby restaurant in the vicinity of the Distillery District, and is a good place to unwind with some vibrant decor and poppin' music. Tried the "Cluck Yeah" combo which is fried chicken on a jalapeno waffle as a kind of waffle sandwich, and comes with your choice of a drink (pop, water) and side (fries, wedges, coleslaw) for about ~$18. The flavour was good and tasty for a hearty fried chicken meal, and the portion was filling for the meal. The coleslaw in the sandwich was a nice balance with the chicken and waffles. The chicken was pretty juicy and had some nice texture. Would have liked the waffle to be toasted a bit more as it was a bit soggy when I got to it from the sauces and coleslaw. Overall, pretty satisfying for an indulgent treat and who doesn't love some good puns cluck cluck!

Tried the location in Scarborough and just found value for food not great. 24 bucks for a sandwich and regular size poutine. Food and service was decent just not worth the cost.

Never been a fan of chicken and waffles. The combination is overrated. Cluck Clucks doesn't change my mind on that, but if you love fried chicken, this is for you. The 3pc and waffle came with a drumstick, thigh, and breast on a cheddar jalapeño waffle. The skin was super crispy without the use of thick batter like Popeyes, and the meat was super juicy. The waffle was an afterthought. My favourite was the wings. They are whole wings and come in 4pc or 8pc. I ordered saucy and chose cluck sauce without knowing what it is. After tasting it I would describe as sweet and spicy and creamy and tangy. It was delicious and would order again.

The girl behind the counter was quick to acknowledge my presence and ready to take my order. Except I hadn't even had a look at the menu and had to take time before ordering. I got the 'what the cluck' (2 pieces of fried chicken with my waffle). It was prime time for nearby office workers getting their lunches so my order took a little longer. The chicken was fried a bit too long. I like crispy chicken skin but this was too much. The waffle had a sweetness to it to balance the savoury flavour from the chicken. There's a review that says they don't think the staff wipes down their tables or mops the floor. I don't know about the floors but after the lunch rush I saw an employee wiping down the tables.

Their Chicken is awesome; I've purchased here often; I love their chicken and their fries; Chipotle Aioli dipping sauce is amazing with their fries. The Fries heat up well at home -which is important to me. Have visited many times and will definitely visit again. KC.

So delicious and cooked to the right amount. I got the cluck your waffle option which you can add too. They really do a good job of adding the right amount of crispness to the chicken. Check them out in your in the esplanade area in downtown! Super filling and the chicken does have a bit of heat!

We were visiting Toronto and wanted some fried halal chicken and decided to give this place a try. We must have walked about 40 minutes or so to find it. We ordered 2 cluck chicken sandwiches and 2 of the 4 pierce chicken strips. We also got 2 pops and cheese fries. The total was about $70 for everything. The sandwich was a solid 3 to us because we are not into waffle being combined with Chicken. The chicken strips were really meaty, generous portion and had great flavor. The service was good and the chipotle sauce as a little to spicy for us. Overall experience was good and chickens were not too breaded and had great flavor.

I've never tried chicken and waffles before and CC was recommended by a friend so I wanted to give it a shot. I tried the Twaco and it was an interesting balance between sweet and salty, with an added kick from the sauce. Overall the food was great and the service was fairly efficient (the wait was ~10 min, but everything was fresh so it was worth it).

Time for an update. I have been going here pretty much since they opened and their quality is has stayed consistent. Their menu items still taste EXACTLY the same. They have recently introduced sandwiches and their Cajun chicken patty is Best fried chicken and best chicken and waffle in the city imo.

Doesn't look like much, nestled between laundry shops & a pizza nova...but this fried chicken & waffles place is SO good. Chicken is always crispy & juicy and waffles are just the right amount of softness & crunch. Top it with the coleslaw & mayo and you'll never turn back! Only drawback is the place gets a bit stuffy with the kitchen taking up over half the place & food takes a while...but totally worth the wait

Got the what the cluck (2pcs bone in; drumstick and breast) with cheesy fries. Tender and flavourful meat with skin as crusty as Chinese crispy pork belly, if that's your thing. The waffle was okay; crunchy and not too sweet. The fries were mediocre. Nice branding, though the menu on the wall was hard to read. Good choice selection on the type of chicken parts and sauces. Maybe I cut too hard, but I found the paper served on the tray useless because I cut right through it and it "disappears" into the meat. Was also disappointed that the "maple syrup" isn't real maple syrup, it's like Aunt Jemima's pancake syrup. My biggest comment is the grease. It's not only in the meat, but it will stay in your clothes until you wash them. Ups and downs of fried chicken, right?

My first meal in Toronto and it was a doozy. I feel like chicken and waffles is more than just a passing trend, chicken and waffles is a way of life and Cluck Cluck's is an institute of amazingness! Hungry, I was so hungry and kept trying my hardest as to what to eat. Ever be in those moods where you are so hungry but don't know what you want? That was me, but then I just sort of gave up and found myself in front of Cluck Cluck's. Divine intervention I suppose. I ordered the chick and jalepeno waffle and some coleslaw. I sat down and I waited patiently for my meal. You guys, this place smelled so good. Like amazing chicken grease. May be gross to some, buy not me. I got my food and i completely dug in. Lord, this was such a great meal. The jalepeno's were baked into that warrm and fluffy waffle. And the chicken was nice and juicy and had the best, best, best crunchy, flaky breading on it. I don't think I stopped for ait the entire time. Literally a finger licking good meal (sorry for any copyright infringement). But such a good meal. I paid around $19 CAD for my meal but I left completely stuffed and ordered enough food for two people, but that's just me. Go here if you're in the area and get that wafffle!

This place has been my go-to to satisfy my chicken and waffles cravings. The portion is consistently generous - my friend and I both got a lot of leftovers every time. The fries is always a hit although it could have been less salty. I also love the honey garlic sauce and dill mayo!

Thought this place would be a bit of a mission to get to, but it's actually relatively close to Union Station, so I decided to try it out. Chicken + Waffles = Magic. That's what you get when you mix 2 comfort foods together. Magic. The store is quite spacious with lots of seating and you're immediately hit with the aroma of fried chicken...mmmmmm. When you enter, you're greeted by the staff and can view a large menu on the wall. The chicken here is also halal. One of my fellow Yelpers kept raving about this place and they were right! After the approximately 10 minute wait, you are served with beautifully crisp chicken and fresh waffles served with your choice of sauce. I believe I chose some variant of a spicy mayo which was delicious. I got the white meat chicken and it was fresh and tasty. You can also order sides and have a choice of how you want it presented (i.e. On top of a waffle, as a sandwich etc). I opted for just the chicken and waffles, so I can't comment on the fires. I'm glad everything is made fresh to order - you can really tell the effort put into the meal. The pricing to portion value is not bad either! Cluck Clucks is a solid choice whenever you're downtown. I look forward to returning, hungry for more!

Usually, I am not a huge fan of fried chicken. I think this is one of the best waffle chickens I have tried in Toronto. The reason being is because I think the waffle is so flavourful. Sometimes the waffle doesn't have much flavour to it, it is nicely done here in terms of the flavour. The chicken is nicely battered and not to oily. I always come for the Cluck Yeah and boneless. The coleslaw works well with it. The only thing I don't like are the fries. Many small pieces and not a huge fan of the texture, a little overdone. Overall, I always enjoyed the waffle and chicken and it is halal. I will be back!

Is it possible to give more than 5 stars?!?! Okay, look, the service wasn't the greatest (only for the fact that they told us we had to order, eat, and leave within 15 mins because they were closing) - despite the fact they were friendly. But guys, that goddamn TWACO. It honestly BLEW MY MIND!!!!!! Some of my party ordered the Mother Clucker, but everyone thought the TWACO took the cake. Normally, I'd write about the ambience, the cleanliness, the vibe and all that fun stuff. But there's no need. There's only one thing you need to know about this place: walk in, order the TWACO, have your taste buds explode! That's all, folks.

I visited Cluck Cluck's recently after my first time and the quality is pretty consistent. We had the Holy Chuck (one boneless chicken breast with waffles). The meat was flavourful; outside was crispy yet still juicy inside. We also had the Mother Clucker (3-piece bone in fried chicken with waffles). I opted for just with cheddar cheese without the Jalapeño. The bone-in chicken was even more juicier than the breast. The only hiccup was the I asked for a non-spicy sauce, but they still gave me the one with spice. It took awhile to get the food cooked since they made to order. I would definitely go back for the juicy fried chicken if I am in the neighbourhood.

The interior of this place is fun and tasteful just like the food! I never was into the idea of chicken and waffles but this place changed my mind about them. The chicken was nice and juicy while the waffles balanced out a savory flavor with added spices and peppers. This is a unique spot! Must try!

The best fried chicken I've had in my life so far, not exaggerating! This night in Montreal was freezing and most places were already either closed or empty, but Cluck Clucks was still there with people chowing down. The chicken here was a perfect golden crisp on the outside. The inside was juicy and so tender that meat literally ripped like scallops. I kept ripping it apart like the satisfying feeling of ripping apart fresh bread. As a fried chicken connoisseur, my goal is to find a local fried chicken establishment that surpasses Cluck Clucks, but that goal has not been met. Now everytime I have fried chicken, I think of them and wonder if I'll ever find chicken that good again... and when I'll be able to go back for my next visit.

How chicken and waffles should be The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned I love the chipotle aioli and coleslaw The waffle was perfectly cooked and soft. It tasted good! It was nice not having hardened waffles for a change. The surefire sign I loved it is I wanted more when I was done!! An $18 (for the combo) well-spent The wedges were standard (could have used more salt and a spicy chili pepper seasoning to be more for my liking)

If there is one thing i love to mix up, it's Chicken and Waffles ! Cluck cluks has a fully halal menu, a wide array of sauces and so many delicious dishes! You would THINK that adding so much maple syrup would be overpowering and excessively sweet. But NO! The balance is absolutely PERFECT! The star was the Classy Clucker (sandwich). If 'looks can be deceiving' was a dish, THIS would be it! The sandwich seemed small and like a normal sandwich. But WOWWWWW! In terms of flavour, it was a Goliath! (No exaggeration!). The spice from the coated chicken mellows out and is so well balanced with the drizzle (or in this case, shower) of maple syrup! You get a slight bite with sweetness, a little spice, with tender, juicy chicken! I loveddd everything their! And their sauces were so delicious! And great to dip each bite in to. The staff is so helpful, especially Auntie, who is the soul of the restaurant! Always there and working hard! She is super sweet and very patient when you're so confused about what item to order because you just want it ALLLLL! Lol. Thank you Cluck Clucks for the hospitality and fantastic food! Ok, ok, the fried chicken was good. We stuck with fried chicken and ordered some fries and waffles on the side to keep our 5 year old happy. she enjoyed the waffles and fries with a side of small bites of chicken. I tried a piece of her waffle later and thought, "yuck." My hubby, the fried chicken aficionado, said the fried chicken was very good. I agreed. But the problem with fried chicken is that I always feel a little sick after eating a few pieces and need something to freshen up the palate. Their coleslaw was not the thing to help with this as it was the creamy kind...so I had to resort to drinking a pop! A pop! But I digress. Yes, the chicken here was good. Was it unequivocally the best in town? I don't know......at least not in my opinion. The dining room is definitely less than comfortable and the fact that the chicken was about the only good thing, I don't think I can give them more than 3 stars.

Going through some of the reviews just absolutely made my mouth water. Finally decided to go with their 8 piece and a side of coleslaw. Placed an order on foodora to have this delivered as I was not feeling the need to step outside in the blizzard. Food arrived quickly and to my surprise the chicken was still scorching hot and crispy! The skin appeared to be burnt but it tasted spectacular. Well seasoned. The coleslaw was disappointing in portion size but that was also delicious. Definitely curious to step into the store one day when the weather permits!

Great spot for takeout, sandwiches are a generous size and really yummy. My only complaint is that the 2 staff members didn't always have their masks covering their noses. I got the Son of a Cluck sandwich with pickles!

Went to try this place out because we'd heard it was really good and it really let us down. May be because of COVID, but the waffle wasn't fresh, we watched it be microwaved, the chicken was fried but then thrown back in the microwave with the waffle to melt the cheese. Definitely will not be going back for twice microwaved chicken and waffles

Saw it. Was curious. Ordered the mother clucker. Was very satisfied! The chicken comes out fresh from the deep fryer ( no batch cooking). The skin is so crispy and thin (no heavy batter). This isnt your popeyes or kfc kind of fried chicken but more home made style. The waffle was also yummy. Freshly made and tasty. Overall 9/10. Will definitely want to come back if in the neighborhood. Maybe this is the area's hidden gem?

Located in a strip mall looking place, we came here looking for something different and as other reviews stated, "the best chicken and waffles." We were greeted by friendly staff who helped us pick out our meal - we ordered the "cluck yeah" sandwich, which was a jalapeño waffle sandwich with fried chicken, coleslaw and their special sauce, and a side of fries. The meal was large and definitely enough for two to split. Everything was very tasty and came out fast and piping hot. Our only complaint was that this is NOT the place to go if you are looking to escape the heat. It was about 10 degrees HOTTER inside than outside (and it was 90 outside!) due to the friers and stoves and the workers looked like they were about dying, not to mention we were dripping while eating. Keep that in mind!
