We had our small wedding in Cluny's private dining room (west side). The pricing was reasonable compared to other venues we looked into, and it was really convenient that the wedding package included a photo permit for the whole distillery district. The private room and entire main restaurant are beautiful. On the day of the wedding, the staff set up all the furniture and helped us set up our florals even though that wasn't part of their scope of work. The food was delicious - I may be biased, but I've always found food at weddings to be mediocre and I thought this was the best wedding food I've ever had. The rainbow trout was moist with a crispy skin and the dark chocolate hazelnut mousse cake was amazing. Since our wedding took place on a weekday during the day, the main restaurant wasn't open yet and the staff were very patient and kind in letting us take photos in the main dining room and bar area. There were only 2 minor issues that happened. The outdoor patio area for the ceremony can get kind of loud with deliveries and passing trains. There happened to be an idling truck nearby during our ceremony so it was hard for everyone to hear. The other thing was that we were supposed to have an hour for tear down after our timeslot, but the staff started setting up for the next wedding almost immediately after ours ended and the guests for the next wedding were already arriving and sitting down about halfway through our tear down hour. Luckily we didn't have much to pack up so it wasn't a big deal and I'd still highly recommend Cluny for the food and as a wedding venue.

Had a lovely brunch at Cluny Bistro & Boulangerie. The space is bright and charming, and the pastry case alone is worth the visit—flaky croissants and perfect tarts. Our plates were beautiful and delicious (hello, eggs benny), and the coffee was smooth and kept coming. Service was warm and attentive without rushing us, so we could linger and chat. A wonderful spot for a relaxed, feel-good brunch—can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful spot and atmosphere, and our food was great! Our waiter made us feel super cared for. For brunch, we got the soft shell crab Benedict and the potato and onion galette - would recommend both. We ordered the Vanilla crème brûlée and the Buche de Noel for dessert. I will say the crème brûlée’s caramelized sugar top was too thick for the layer of custard below. And I wouldn’t recommend the Apple Lemonade drink if you’re not into a very spiced/fermented taste.

Overall great experience! More of a 4.5 stars out of 5 than a 4. I met a friend here for brunch and I will most definitely be coming back. We had both heard great things about the French onion soup, and it did not disappoint. The crab eggs Benedict was delicious, the side salad was so fresh. My personal favourite of the meal was the smoked salmon dish. Great coffee, beautiful fresh juice, and we had a phenomenal day to be sitting outside for our meal - the patio is gorgeous. My only complaint was the service, our server was running around quite a bit, not sure what was going on but he wasn’t very present. Very kind though, it’s not that he didn’t care about the table or the service, just a lot seemed to be going on.

Had a fabulous time! I called ahead to make a reservation for my sister and her husband’s anniversary. I spoke to Ken and he was great, answering all my questions and making accommodations for my family, since some members have food allergies. The staff were very polite and they added some extra touches to make my sister’s evening special. Ken came over and introduced himself to us which was a lovely plus and was available to accommodate us for any thing else we may have needed. The atmosphere of course is lovely, inside and out! Very picturesque. And the food was delicious. The only issue was they ran out of the crepe, which is what I really wanted to try but the other desserts were really nice. The strawberry soufflé wasn’t too sweet and tasted like strawberries. I also thought the prices were fair for what we had. I definitely would go back and suggest the restaurant to others.

Service was professional - we didn’t make a reservation but there’s alternatives for us to take the lounge area. Restaurant environment was nice, and Christmas decorations were warm and nice. Food was wonderful in both taste and quality. A place that I’d plan to go again. It’s perfect after a long walk at Distillery.

I visited Cluny Boulangerie & Patisserie and had a very cozy experience. The bakery has a warm, charming atmosphere, and everything smells freshly baked. I ordered their hot chocolate, and the staff prepared it right in front of me. The toasted marshmallow rim and the whipped cream on top made it look beautiful and taste even better. It felt rich, warm, and perfect for a cold day in the Distillery District. Their breads and pastries also looked amazing, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Overall, Cluny is a lovely spot for a warm drink and a sweet treat. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely lunch before walking around the Winter Village at Distillery! We particularly enjoyed the bread basket with freshly butter (though we wished it was serve warmed), asparagus frites (standout dish!), and the buche de Noël (dessert)! Definitely recommend making a reservation to ensure no wait and a delicious meal!
