This place was wonderful! Classy intimate atmosphere with white tablecloths. The food was delicious and I wouldn’t say it was any more expensive than any of the other places we went to on our trip, but it still felt like a special place. My partner got the salad bar and mussels and I got the squash soup and bistro salad. All was delicious. The staff was very helpful and spoke English, which was helpful for us folks who barely know any Spanish words beyond 1,2,3…five stars!

Amazing food! Amazing service! So cozy! Perfect for couples. Waiters are super helpful and willing to recommend if you’re looking for something in particular, they know what they’re talking about. The only slight downside is the dessert was very average compared to the rest.m, but it was an amazing experience!

The place is cozy, a bit dark but good atmosphere overall. Fast and friendly service. Good wine selection. The dishes are varied, the menu has more than only crepes. Always crowded.

Quite expensive place. The eggs with fries were not that good. Very nice ambient but not the food.

Cluny is one of my favorite spots in south CDMX. I was a bit disappointed that the wine menu no longer has Mogo Badan, but the rest of our dinner was good. We had a burger, a four-cheese crêpe, and profiteroles.

Yelp
After exploring the ins and outs of San Angel, this was suggested by someone in our group. YES! I felt like I walked into a deep-secret restaurant in Pittsburgh. I remember the Spaghetti Warehouse and other personality-specific restaurants and this had exactly the same feel and to top that? - The futball game of Portugal was on, influences of Italian, as well as French, AND the classy French/murals, paintings, and environment, my feet were hurting from walking all day and this was a GREAT solution! The salad is make your own if you want and everything was as fresh as you could possibly hope it to be. In ordering the hamburger next, you get a hamburger that will be covered in cheese and will satisfy your appetite, challenging any hopes of dessert, and if one pushes dessert, it is me, my there was NO chance at all. The staff is superb and waiting on you instantly. When you approach this restaurant from the outside you are expecting amazingness and that is what you get here and it accents anything you hoped to experience about San Angel. The menu has some appetizing dishes and lots of fish plates that seem to be absolute picks. The price is a little higher than normal but, the overall experience, when I walked away was totally worth it. For three people, with just simple drinks, and three main plates, about 850.00 pesos, so yes, on the high end but this is an experience that is superb, classy, and one you will not forget anytime soon.

Yelp
Located in Avenida de la Paz, one of the most traditional culinary and nightlife avenues, in the southern area of San Angel. I had great memories about this "romantic atmosphere" restaurant (it was a great option for a nice date in the past), but I was some disappointed after my last visit. I went on a Friday night and the place was some busy, no full, but service was incredibly slow. Waitress was so kind but no way to compensate waiting time. Food was just ok, not as good as I remember it was in the past. I got a Camboy crepe (savory, chicken and curry) which was good and a red fruits crepe (sweet), which was just ok. Pricey, considering food experience and slow service.

Yelp
The relaxed lighting, brick walls, and delicately placed flowers created a charming atmosphere. The bread and spinach salad was just okay, but the portabello mushroom crepe was delicious. Our waiter was sweet and gave us thoughtful dessert recommendations. Our crepe nathalie was delightfully smothered in semisweet chocolate sauce and sprinkled with hazelnuts. Our hojaldre de dios came with a warmly toasted pastry crust and a savory caramel. Bon apetit!

Yelp
A friend took me here for dinner promising a delicious, reasonably priced French dinner. The atmosphere was nice enough. It was sort of the French version of the Italian restaurant with the checkered tablecloth and wine bottle on the table. The noise and light levels were nicely controlled, and it was overall cozy. My friend told me that the bread here is famous, but we were delivered a basket of very dry, not fresh bread, which we sent back. It was replaced with decent bread and really (typical) not good butter. We both ordered steak. Mine the steak frites, his the filete dijon. Both with "frites". The steaks came and both were perfectly cooked and delicious. However the "frites" were breaded potato wedges (what we call in US: Jojo potato logs. A common item at grocery store delis), not French bistro fries. We alerted the waiter to this issue, but he just sort of shrugged and said this is what comes with the steak now. We assured him that you can't call something "steak frites", unless you're serving "frites". He said the bistro "frites" only come with the burger now. We finally convinced him to bring some Roquefort dressing to put with our potato wedges, since he obviously was not interested in bringing us "frites". The dressing helped, but it was lame as far as Roquefort dressing goes. My friend, who has been going here for years assured me that normally this place is better, so maybe you will have better luck, if you go.

Yelp
Service in this place used to be one of the best, now is one of the WORST!!.. took 45 minutes to get a salty inedible onion soup, when it arrived was ice cold and the only comment that I get from the server is " I can change it if you want" what kind of place is that?... I asked to call the Manager, she took more than 15 minutes to come?.. I think they need to hire professional people or CLOSE the business... what a FIASCO!
