I've driven past this place a dozen times but never bothered to go in until yesterday and I'm glad I did. The landscape photos are stunning. There is also a nature walk behind the building. You get a feeling of what its really like being in the Everglades.

We just went on the swamp walk last week. It was an enlightening experience to be a part of this majestic nature .From the friendly and helpful receptionist to our guide who was extremely knowledgeable , I highly recomend this tour and visit . We usually always make a stop at Clyde Butchers place every chance we are in the area. Love this place. Beautiful area, gorgeous scenery. We just got back a few days ago, and didn't see any alligator in sight. Wrong time of year. We did not go in this time, as there was a note that said they would be back in fifteen minutes. A huge selection of art photography from Clyde Butcher. Very beautiful jewelry, prints, and shirts. One of these days we shall do a walk through the swamp.

The swamp walk was such a unique experience! Bring old sneakers or water shoes, wear a bathing suit, pants and a long sleeve shirt that can get wet. You will be up to you chest in a few parts of the water. Cleaner and less gross than you would think.

A world unplugged and perfect! I have worked down here for a couple weeks and absolutely fell in love with the surroundings and the people. Beautiful art, beautiful area and beautiful nature. My new friends and family of the “swamp” will be forever…..
