Date of Dinner: December 29, 2013
Occasion: Reunion of friends that haven't seen one another in years
Time: 6:30
Table: 426
Server: Rachel Harris
We had a horrible time and were treated like an inconvenience.
We were told that the restaurant was closing because of Spring cleaning and had to hurry.
However, we found out that an oven broke as well, and the food took extra long to be cooked.
We ordered Oysters (cold) and shrimp cocktail which took longer than usual. I do not understand that because it doesn't take an oven to make these food items!
The acting manager told us it would be best if we got done with our meal ( which we had not received any food at this time) sooner rather than later. It was quite rude and unexpected at such an establishment.
I was only in town for one night, had never been to this place and had heard all good things.
I was not impressed!
They started cleaning up around our table, and I am pretty sure someone was smoking inside!
As we were leaving we wanted to take quick pictures, and the manager came over and rushed us out the door. :(
I have never been treated so wrong in all of my dining experiences.
On another note, our server Rachel Harris was friendly, efficient, professional, and accommodating to our needs. She is the reason we stayed and finished our meal.
She was not a part of the rudeness we encountered, if it wasn't for her, we would have walked out!
Thats all.
