C+M (Coffee and Milk) at LACMA

Stopped by here after walking around the La Brea Tar Pits and needed to rest. The giant copper balloon animal statue (outside of the nearby art museum ) attracted us here. Lots of different selections of gourmet pastries, and I love that they use a tamp and tap esspresso machine. It tastes so much better that way. I was also very impressed with how strong their espresso was!

Dropped by the LACMA today, and grabbed a quick bite at Coffee and Milk. I had a prepackaged Fiesta Taco Salad from the company GROW • EEN. It had taco walnut meat in it. This was my first time trying that, and it was really good. I enjoyed the latte C&M made. It wasn’t too sweet. It was pretty perfect. The staff was ok. Not very talkative but they made a good latte. The pumpkin spice chocolate chip cookies were really good, too. There’s a nice seating area inside, and outside by the museum. Tip: They didn’t provide a lid or straw for their drinks, and I couldn’t see napkins anywhere. You may need to ask them for them. Tip 2: They accept Apple Pay.

The service is amazing and they’re so nice. The espresso is very burnt though. I’m not a stickler for espresso burn levels but this was a bit much for me. The hamburger was great though!

We were looking for an appealing location to relax and drink coffee for an hour or so, and I really enjoyed this area. It is a perfect place to relax after the art museum, seeing the tar pits, or walking the grounds. You feel drawn in and welcomed. The location is nice and open. You can sit inside or outside, with the option of shade. The coffee was good, but the blueberry black tea donut was amazing. Prices were typical and higher than I like, but just seems to be how it goes. The baristas were very friendly. I will come back.

This place could do much better with a little improvement. The coffee selection is decent but they could add more new season flavors. The sandwiches aren't heated, the bread on mine was saggy and didn't taste fresh. Sadly for the price I paid. The brunette barista would do better with a "fresh up" in customer service. I was meeting a friend there and she grumped to us for "blocking the area" (there was no one there) , it felt more like TSA than a cafeteria. You would expect a more warming welcoming at such a charming place like Lacma. Overall we are regular customers and will still visit and order our favorite coffee as usual. But wanted to share this feedback to see if improvement is achieved soon. Cheers !

This is a pretty cool coffee place at LACMA. It has the basic coffee options that you'd find at most coffee houses. They also have pastries and a selection of two types of prepackaged sandwiches. The food and coffee was good, but since it's at LACMA, it was definitely overpriced. The staff here are really courteous. This place is great for a quick coffee, latte, or americano during your museum visit.

The hamburger arrived late with bun and meat, nothing else! $9.00! For a dollar more my friend's cheesburger came with lettuce, tomato, special sauce. So what's up ;with that? In many restaurants the burger tastes really special. Here, it's like dead cow! I did not like the taste. I asked for water. "We really don't serve water except for bottled." Thanks! But the ambiance was nice.

I have to rave about the velvet donut. It was so moist and delicious! The cream cheese frosting was great. This place is pricey but where else are we going to get some caffeine in between visiting art buildings.

C+M coffee is dark & bitter............................like my callous heart. Visiting LACMA, mainly for picture taking at Urban Light & Levitated Mass, we needed a late afternoon caffeine boost. Being LACMA's café, convenience trumped cost, as we chose C+M to fulfill our need. Drip coffee (under $4)- Man, it's like drinking paint! Bitter, chock full of caffeine, my head began to throb & my tummy started to ache. I actually had a hard time downing this cup of mud. As I've grown older, my tolerance for caffeine has diminished. So, when my the caffeine from my coffee kicked in, I started feeling a little nauseous. For coffee aficionados, this may be your thing, but I'll stick to the less stronger stuff. Especially when considering the cost of a small cup. Jeez! Hot chocolate (artisanal, under $5)- A choice of artisanal or Mexican, my brother chose artisanal for he & his wife. Their comments after tasting it were less than exemplary. "Hot water with some chocolate flavor" was the critical analysis. They had to add sugar & half and half to make their small cups palatable. For almost $5, I'd avoid C+M's hot chocolate. On the bright side, C+M's pastries looked very legit. We saw quite a few customers helping themselves to a sweet treat to go with their coffee. Just needing some caffeine to drink, we opted out of any pastries that evening, despite being asked. Service was good. The guy working the register was friendly, and our drinks came out in a timely manner. Inside, seating is minimal, with more tables al fresco between exhibit buildings at LACMA. Sometimes convenience isn't the way to go. I would've much rather gone to a nearby Starbucks, or even better a McDonald's, as their drink choices are more to my liking, not to mention prices. Coffee connoisseurs may get their kicks at C+M, but as for me, I'll pass.

First of all: C+M Coffee and Milk at LACMA is not to be confused with its semi-successful cousin C+C Music Factory (early 90s band). C+M is a cozy spot in the LACMA area that offers some much needed caffein boosts to those who seek it as well as sugary pastries & snacks. Coffee, Tea and I believe smoothies are the main draw here. Ive always ordered the lattes cause I like to pretend I'm fancy like that sometimes and occasionally Ill have a pastry. Okay I'll always have a pastry. The Pros: Great hot drink selection and its always made to order on the spot. None of that instant crap from what I can see. There's plenty of Indoor or outdoor seating available. Conveniently located in the middle of the major museum structures. Ya can't miss it. The Cons: C+M gets is too popular when it gets cold so expect longer than usual lines. Be around slightly agitated guests (Not C+M's doing). Items are kinda pricy (IMO) but its expected since it's a draw for plenty of tourists and Angelenos alike. Plus this place needs to earn so I get it. Overall: By all means do drop by C+M before, after or in the middle of immersing yourself in some fine art collections. Take some time to reflect on what you've seen for the day. Be kind and tip your barista. Cheers!

I was not expecting much. I'm a LACMA member so I've seen most of the exhibits but my SO is new to the museum so she was wearing me out on a cold Saturday... I needed a break so I decided to take a moment at C+M. WOW - this place is way better than it needs to be. The staff is so friendly and the coffee was good... though it's served in the small cups that I hate... but the pastry case is why you come. I ordered this amazing looking thing - a red velvet donut. It was fan-freaking-tastic. I mean it was "I'm glad I'm sitting down" good. So I had to ask the super friendly staff woman that took my order --- where did this come from? Again, thank goodness I was sitting down because she told me - "Fonuts"... are you kidding me?? That delicious thing I just devoured was gluten free AND vegan?! But it was so good. I mean so good. Yeah, it's not cheap. A smallish regular coffee and that incredible "fonut" was $10. But OMG it was good. When you need a break from LACMA or you're just bored (inevitable)... you simply must drop in here for a treat. Indoor and outdoor seating. Line looks long most of the time but they move fast and everyone is very nice. A winner. And fonuts... I am so turning into a Californian.

Location was clean between la brea tar pits and LACMA entrance. Theres plenty of seating and shade to enjoy drinks. Ordered their iced match tea with honey and hubby got perrier water and some cheese.

Regular. Average. Decent. No complaints. But one donut is $5.50?! Ouch. $3.01 for a kids size hot chocolate is okay though. It's just a tad bit smaller than a regular size hot chocolate, but at a fraction of the price. So glad I have a kid with me. The museum doesn't open until 11am on Thursdays.... absolutely nothing is open except this little coffee shop. Better than nothing.

Coffee and Milk at LACMA was amazing for me since I was already almost dead at 12:00 in the afternoon. I know right why would you be? But traffic getting to LA is so brutal!! Maybe that is why this is my first time coming here. I went here yesterday on a nice sunny Thursday ordered three different lattes. Had a blue pop tart and almond croissant. I actually enjoyed the blue pop tart, inside had actual cherries and the flavor wasn't too sweet like the ones you had when your little. My latte was pretty in a cute white cup with cinnamon sprinkled on top and a heart in the middle. The wait for this place wasn't too crazy and I readily enjoyed the pastries. I was pretty surprised at how well they tasted, I was thinking it was going to taste pretty disgusting but they proved me wrong! Even my coffee with almond milk was just what I thought it was going to be. A really cute coffee shop with chairs inside and out that you can sit on! Tip: They have milk alternatives such as almond milk! Which has been my favorite recently.

I love this place. Every time I'm at the LACMA, I stop in for my London Fog, hot Earl Grey Tea with Almond milk. This time I ordered for the kid, a sundae, a great value and perfect for a hot day.

I find myself around LACMA once a week but never thought of trying C+M located on their property. Since the person I meet in this area has great taste, this is where we ended up going before getting lunch down the way. He warned me beforehand that they had some great pastries, and as soon as I walked in, I basically cruised the mini superba donut holes. I made sure to see if there was anything else I missed, but my gaze wandered back to those donuts. Custard-filled and sugar-powdered, each was better than the previous one. As for drinks, I wanted the Lavender Sparkler but they were out of club soda or another ingredient needed to make this. Going the opposite direction, I ended up with the hot artisanal chocolate. I realized later it was a little too hot out for this beverage but come fall/winter, this would be perfect for drinking while wandering around the grounds of LACMA. Speaking of, watch out for those playing Pokemon Go; apparently this is a massive hot spot. From an appealing, modern setup to the very friendly staff, I'll definitely be back for that Lavender Sparkler another day-

So I bookmarked this place because they had "adult milkshakes". What do I do? I show up with an underaged teenager, a child, and a toddler. No adult milkshake for me. Instead, I got to order the following and they're all incredible good. Mexican Hot Chocolate Artisanal Hot Chocolate Choclate Croissant Plain Croissant Arnold Palmer I would totally come back to this place. C+M is a LACMA Cafe and it is very worthy of being LACMA's cafe. There are a handful of tables with chairs outside but really, you should eat your food and drink your coffee in front of one of the art installations located outside the museum. You do not need a LACMA entrance pass to patronize this cafe. Parking in this area is inane.

My boyfriend and I were craving something sweet when we went to LACMA for Free Museum Day and decided to order something from here. We shared a Vanilla Bean Milkshake and it was SO GOOD! I don't think I've ever enjoyed a vanilla milkshake as much as that one. Maybe it's because of the "bean"? Haha! Who knows. It was just a bit pricey, but I understand since it's literally inside the museum. Everything at museums are pricey. Would recommend checking this place out while you're at the LACMA! The sell a variety of drinks, pastries, and even ice cream!

Great cappuccino place! Friendly service. Located right in side of the LACMA. There are two other cafes in Lacma, but I had the best cappuccino here.

As the energy magnetized me and drew me in... The menu was simple but offered some unusual combinations.. Not wanting to take too much time to decide.. Dirty Horchata Double Latte it is.. First thought, wow $7.00!! Crazy! I almost commented to the barista this better be the best cup of java I've ever tasted.. But I refrained! Presentation was beautiful.. Then the silky smooth brew passed my lips and I was in LOVE!!! They use Intelligencia Coffee!! Want good coffee.. Stay home. Want mind blowing coffee?? COME HERE!!

Not in the mood for waiting in line for food upstairs or forgot to grab lunch before heading to LACMA for the day? Perhaps you're currently procaffeinating (procrastinating until you've had your coffee), C+M solves those problems! C+M is a small shop that not only has coffee, they also carry pastries, milk shakes and the like for a quick caffeine or sugar boost to carry on your LACMA filled day. Ordered lattes with Anthony L. and enjoyed sipping on them while admiring the contemporary space. I love the artwork showcased on the silvery wall. An analog clock displaying the percentage of the day that has gone by based on sunlight, it's titled "Untitled (for the sun)" by Jim Campbell and is quite profound. We were starving and didn't want to have to wait in line for any of the LACMA restaurants, so stopped in here instead. I got the turkey sandwich which was delicious, fresh, and on pretzel bread so I was already won over right there. My drink was a dirty chai and it was good/standard. Nothing to write home about, but good. My brother also got a donut which was mediocre...basically more cake in donut form than donut. Prices are a bit high, but it;s in LACMA, so to be expected. A nice place to stop and rest in between visiting the museum.

This place is pretty great. They have a nice selection of pastries and coffee, and they're good quality. I had a guava cream cheese croissant and it was delicious!!! It's a bit pricy but the quality is there. Doesny hurt that checking in gives you half off pastry! The vanilla latte I had was very subtle and foamy. Overall definitely check it out if you're visiting lacma!

Had a cappuccino here. $4. Was fine. Yes they got the heart in the foam. Light atmosphere indoor and outdoor seating. Fast friendly service. Cappuccino and even espresso don't seem to impart the same levels of caffeine to me as regular coffee. Anyone else notice this?

I really love coming here after a museum visit strictly for the "Adult" Milk Handshake! 05/100. Yelp Challenge.(2016)

A nice little coffee tea and cookie place right in the middle of the art gallery and the tar pit Museum. Good quality stuff, a bit pricey, but the hike to the nearest place it's too far to care. They served our needs with the speed of molasses, and the quality of everything was very nice. Be patient, be very patient and hopefully you too will make it to the front of the line. I ordered a milkwich which was much larger than I thought! Two chocolate cookies with vanilla ice cream. The cookie was not too sweet for the first several bites but got sweeter and sweeter later. It's kind of hard to finish in one setting by myself, and my friend said she preferred eating the ice cream and cookie separately.

This is the coffee/cafe within LACMA. It's pretty much what you would expect, but after walking around LACMA all day, you're going to get hungry and this place provides a very mighty snack. I had the blue cupcake, which flavor eludes me, but it was still very good! Staff was friendly as you would expect, and we were in and out before we knew it. Overall, a thumps up for convenience and options.

Creative menu. Artsy feel. Belongs in the same vicinity as LACMA. The drinks were solid and they even had a couple of pastries to choose from. Even some gluten free options. The menu is extensive; offering the classics and things like horchata chai, shakes, and kahlua mocha(that's right alcoholic coffee drinks) But really really overpriced. $23 for two drinks and a cookie???? This was my second time in recent weeks that I stopped in at C+M at LACMA - this time their actual brick-and-mortar location in the L.A. Time Central Court right outside the Ahmanson Building - as I needed something to cool down from the hot weather. I had an unused Yelp check-in deal (20% off any milkshake) when I last visited their cart located in the BP Grand Entrance, so today was a perfect day to redeem it: Chocolate Covered Cherry Shake ($8.00) - Was this fanciful milkshake of chocolate ganache blended with milk sorbet and topped with black cherry syrup worth $8.00 (heck, the milkshake in "Pulp Fiction" was only $5.00)!? Granted, artinsinal ingredients were used under the banner of the Patina Group name, but come on! Sadly, this was more of a thin chocolate-lite drink with hardly any black cherry syrup topped with a meager shapeless cherry. However, for me, I felt that the Patina Group was resting on their legacy (don't get me wrong I'm actually a fan of their full restaurants) and slapped these places together. Now, I'm not a coffee drinker and that was the bulk of sales I'd seen so maybe those drinks were amazing, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But the prepared items I had seemed lazy and pedestrian with prices that didn't match. I found good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (total paid experience was around $16.00; before discounts and tip). The main issue I had was the lack of value. And, they accepted my credit card of choice...AMEX! 3 STARS

Oh LACMA, your overpriced cafes are irritating but what's a girl to do when she needs a snack and is too lazy to leave the museum grounds? Lol C&M (or Coffee and Milk like it says on the front) is located just past the yellow rubber noodles installation art. The menu is decent, they use Intelligentsia coffee and have patina pastries, but everything (of course) is overpriced. CHECK IN ON YELP! You get 20% off any milkshake (which is a very pricy milkshake) I got the matcha milkshake and it was pretty good, but I could still see the ice cream where they didn't blend it completely. Otherwise not too sweet, but suuuuuper thick! They should have spoons for you.

Quick aside, the museum is good - of course, depending on what you prefer. My friends and I were about to leave but I suggested some coffee togo. Coffee and Milk looked super inviting ... so, why not. There are PLENTY of tables right in front of the store. We did go on a Tuesday so it might have been slower than normal. Cleanliness (4/5): Everything looked clean and stock. We left at about 330pm and the pastry case was fully stocked and clean! Customer Connection (4/5): cashier was nice and informative. My friend was talking about the pastries and the cashier told us where the actual store fronts are they supply them with pastries. Service/Product Quality (5/5): We ordered an iced chai latte, iced latte, macchiato, and a chocolate sprinkles donut. All of them were good. The donut was good with a couple of bites but it got a little too sweet so I stopped eating it. The iced chai had a good balance of sweet and spice and milk ratio-nothing more disappointing than a chai that tastes like steamed milk.

Came here for LACMA and decided to stop by here before I left the museum. Seems to have a nice variety of drinks and what not but service is kind of slow since they have the people manning the cashier, also making drinks. pretty hectic. Anyways they recommended the lavender sparkler and.........it was not yummy. It was $4 . I mean the smell and taste of lavender was kinda there but it wasn't sweet; the club soda made it taste a lot different from what I expected, not in a nice way. They have a small bar near the exit and I opted to add some more syrup to enhance the taste..nope. did not help. I've had better lavender sparklers and this one didn't cut it for me :/ I'm hoping the other selections they have are better than what I had, but I was also looking at the cappuccinos they were putting out, and it seemed very sloppily made. Hopefully I'll get a better experience and something yummier if I come again.

If you're looking for speciality coffee drinks and milk sorbet on Wilshire, this is the place to visit. They have a large range of choices when it comes to coffee and expresso drinks, all paired with some sort of special Straus milk -- which tastes really great. I really like coffee places that have a load of original coffee drinks and this place had a whole menu of them. They also have a lot of freshly baked pastries, particularly in the early morning. I had a banana Nutella filled pop tart that had a flakey pastry shell and it was a great snack before hitting the La Brea Tar Pits and LACMA. I recommend the Milkwich, which is a milk sorbet cream mashed in-between two soft, chewy cookies with any of the expresso drinks. Tastes wonderful and I love the Straus milk that they include with almost everything.

This place is expensive because I'm sure the rent is very high here. However, I loved my gold glitter covered eclair, my box water, and a turkey sandwich. I think the eclair was almost $5 and the sandwich was about $10-$11. My friend got coffee here and enjoyed it. Both indoor and outdoor seating. There is another eatery at LACMA but I have not eaten there. Sometimes there is a long line, but it moves very quickly.

Wildly overpriced items in a cool artsy feel to match the museum environment. It's worth going if you need a snack or beverage pick-me-up because it's very convenient. Just be ready to pay for your hunger/thirst.

Amazing coffee and really good looking pastries. I love coming to lacma because I'm excited to get a delicious latte. However, 4 stars because the woman barista who has been there almost every time I've come ( on the weekends) is quite rude and acts very annoyed when you ask her a question. Everyone else has been very nice but she is just so rude and has a bad attitude every time I'm there and it really puts a damper on my experience.

While the LACMA Cafe is closed for now, this is a decent temporary option that's nearby. It has some grab n go salads and such, pastries and a wonderful coffee menu. I highly suggest the Mexican mocha, which isn't super sweet and is really smooth.

As a trained barista, I get that it is no simple task but come on! It also isn't a brain surgery. My latte took forever... Two aging spots on my face appeared while waiting. There were two or three baristas, but they moved slower than the very first time I extracted espresso. The latte? It was actually very good. Now that I think about it... It may have been just one aging spot that appeared while waiting. Just be prepared to wait... And, wait.

Delicious drinks, lovely donuts, fun & friendly baristas! Not sure if the menu is going for a satire of pretentious hipster culture or if it's just totally unironically embracing it, but for the love of god, whoever made it just change it back to normal. Call the ice cream ice cream, not "milk sorbet." Nobody knows what the hell that is. And I'm sure it's annoying to employees to have to answer every customer's question on what it is. Anyways, thoroughly enjoyed myself. Try a Spanish cortado, and a blueberry earl grey donut if you're feeling peckish!

This place has an awesome Green Tea Matcha Shakerato. Ever since I came back fro Japan, I've been searching for a place that serves Shakeratos (Espresso version here too) and this is one of them in LA. Great place to chill and relax after walking around LACMA and pondering what makes this art. Definitely a minus star though for the expensive baked goods. I believe some were gluten free and some were just expensive and gluten free.

Always a solid coffee, milkshake, and cookie option!we often visit in the winter and get coffees to sip on as we enjoy walking around the many instillations at the LACMA. Stop by and grab a coffee!

Worst espresso ever, just sour. They didn't even bother making a new one. The outdoors is filthy, no one cleans the tables. They should rename themselves into "We Don't Care + Milk" . I would give 0 stars if possible.

Literally a place to grab a quick drink and go. I made my own arnold Palmer, and it was okay. It's a really cool modern space with art on the wall as well. On a side note, you can't bring any drinks inside the exhibit so I had to finish before I entered.

Came here during our visit at LACMA. The server was very attentive and courteous and i enjoyed my almondmilk latte. Also tried the vegetable sandwich which is made with brie, arugula, and fig jam. It was delicious because i like that kind of thing. Also tried the croissant and macarons which were good. Would be back if the occasion arose.

Pretty average coffee place with some unique drinks. Tried 3 different drinks from their summer menu, and wasn't particularly blown away by anything. Definitely a good place if you are dying for a caffeine fix and are at LACMA. If not, it's best to skip over.

I really love it here. The coffee is premium and the guava and cream cheese croissant is heavenly. Service is friendly and quick. It's a great place to stop before or after you look at all the art.

How I heard of this place: My sister, the designer and artist wished to visit LACMA on her first trip to Southern California in about 16 years. The other two of us obliged, and, of course, talked her into a coffee break during the museum tour. Type of cuisine: "While spending a day at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, stop by for a boutique coffee experience at C+M (Coffee and Milk). Our baristas artistically present Intelligentsia coffee and espresso, alongside seasonal sandwiches, organic milk sorbet and a variety of fresh pastries."LACMA C+M Order Counter Ambiance: "Located near the museum store, we are surrounded by thousands of works of art and an art-making gallery for all ages. The café culture at C+M is a cozy blend of modern design and classic coffee shop, fitting for a day visit at LACMA." What I ordered: A single, ristretto mocha ($4) for me, an Americano ($3) for my sister, and two Ham & Swiss Croissants ($4 each) to share between the three of us! What I loved: Dark, chocolatey mocha! The buttery filled croissant totally satisfied our late-morning snack craving. Why I loved it: Easy to stop in and pick up a java and a snack on our day-long tour of LACMA. Plenty of seating (limited indoors, more outdoors) for parties of most sizes. Cost: Average to high ($3 - $6 per espresso beverage)

After a long summer day walking at the LACMA, I decided to stop by here for a nice cup of joe. The line wasn't long at all as customers were being served at a moderate pace. Looking up to the menu, I decided to go for the iced coffee. They serve coffee that utilizes Intelligentsia coffee...wow cool beans. Personally, the iced coffee was meh like a lighter roast that's quite acidic in taste. The area where you could add milk and sugar to your coffee was poorly stocked. I had trouble getting the simple syrup and half-and-half replaced. The gentleman serving the drinks wasn't that friendly when I politely asked him for assitance. The cashier, however, was very amiable and professional. I wanted to try out their donuts but there were a few fruit flies chilling in the plastic showcase, no thank you I'll pass on the donuts today. I would suggest hungry visitors to observe the showcase before making any purchases on these. I'm really tempted to try their adult milkshake though my friend said it wasn't all that great for the price of ten bucks...maybe next time. C+M gets a 3 out of 5 stars from me.

This is an artsy fartsy new name for an iced drink. The Green Tea is listed as housemade green tea powder, hand shaken with soy milk and honey @ $4. From what I was told, it tasted like seaweed. I'll pass thank you. As we were talking, we realized he overcharged us for the drinks. He rang them up at $6 each instead of $6 and $4. Receipt was already in the trash and I'm not diving in. I was too busy taking pictures to post on Yelp and not paying attention to the register. Oh well. The place is kept clean and minimal. Michelle T sent me a message to ftr this place because it's my favorite restaurant group, Patina. I feel so bad I couldn't go to this place until recently..sorry Michelle. Ordered cappuccino, artisanal chocolate and bacon&date poptart. Cappuccino ($3.75): I liked the coffee art but I could barely taste the coffee. Artisanal chocolate ($4.00): It tasted like brown hot water..worse than the coffee. Bacon & date poptart ($3.50): that is not a poptart lol..more like a flaky pastry. I kinda like the crunchy bacon inside but they really need to add more filling. I like the fact that the coffee is unsweetened but I kinda wish the hot chocolate was already sweetened. Maybe the bacon cheddar biscuit is the popular pastry because it's gone!! No need to buy a LACMA ticket to go here. Just walk in and go to the upper level. 2 stars!! I am super sad I am saying this... but C+M Coffee & Milk is not yummylicious!!

LACMA has upgraded its food options with stylish new options like the Stark Bar and Coffee + Milk. I love being able to get a quality cup of coffee at the museum and judging from the lengthy line, so do many others. Coffee + Milk uses Intelligentsia beans and has coffee and espresso drinks, milk sorbet (milkshakes, milkwiches, milkscoops), sandwiches and a case of attractive looking small pastries. Adult milkshakes are alcoholic. * Milk sorbet ($3 for one scoop): Made with Straus Family Creamery organic milk, organic sugar and Tahitian vanilla bean. I thought it would be lighter than ice cream but it seemed just like ice cream. It was pleasant and creamy without intense vanilla flavor. * Latte ($4): good foam art, rich, smooth C + M is a stylish spot with nice looking coffee cups, stylish contemporary chairs and artwork that's worth pondering.

I love the coffee beans they brew here! It's is my favorite so it's a breath of fresh air being able to enjoy it during my museum experience. I also enjoy the croissants the guava and cream cheese is so yummy! I'll be back!

I was jonesing for a cup of Joe right before I got to the LACMA, so it was a delight when I stumbled upon Coffee & Milk on my brief walk outside the museum. The name is simple yet likable. The place was small but cute. There was some counter thing on the wall that I couldn't figure out what it was? Neat I guess.. And the cashier was very friendly. I liked that they had a small sign with the basic coffee prices right by the door. The drinks seem a little pricey, but what the heck, there's no other options around and I wanted my coffee! As soon as I stepped into the place i thought the coffee smelled great. But unfortunately when I got my Latte, it disappointed. It was unsweetened, which was okay, but the coffee tasted kind of bland. It was hard to figure out what exactly was wrong with it. I guess it didn't have enough coffee-taste? It wasn't very hot either, just very warm. They have a little condiments stand by the far exit, but they were out of natural sugar. Their prices are kind of weird too. Their latte cost the most at $4, while all the other drinks had different prices. Americano was the cheapest at $3, but the brewed coffee is $3.50? Okay.. Nonetheless its at a convenient location to grab a cup of coffee or snack before venturing into the nearby exhibits.
