It dumped lots of snow in the past few days even in the spring time here, and it keeps dumping every other days.😀 They did not shovel or cleanup the sidewalks, you have to be more careful and pull the luggage with difficulty. Well, honestly I don’t like it at all!!😥 2018/3/31

You know how some things can be expensive and yet leave you feeling that you've received a incredible bargain? Well . . . this is one of those things. My friend and I did the 3-day summer heli hiking experience at the Bobbie Burns lodge and it was, without exaggeration, absolutely fantastic. Everything ran like clockwork. Every single member of the staff (from the guides to the kitchen crew) was friendly, helpful and engaging. The hikes themselves were perfect, most especially the Via Ferrata hikes, which allowed us to push ourselves to the limits of our comfort zone, while still feeling safe and well-taken-care-of. The food was excellent and plentiful. The lodge was clean, comfortable and attractive. This is a definite "bucket list" experience.

The CMH Heli-Skiing adventure was amazing. The guides (Helen and Randy) were kind, thoughtful, and had excellent advice. The lodge and the surrounding area were breathtakingly beautiful.

Love love loved this adventure getaway with CMH at Bobbie Burns. I had no idea what to expect or encounter other than a rush of mixed feelings and possibly a change of underwear. Would I be nervous, excited, frightened, anxious, or stunned by sensory overload? CMH made everyone feel comfortable from the get go with great communication from their team, explaining safety protocols, sharing the plan and offering flexiblity of different adventure options if required based on ability or comfort level. Meals were outstanding and CMH really looked after anyone who had any particular food requirements or dietary needs. There was great mingling and interaction with staff and customers throughout the day and many stories and jokes to be had. The outdoor playground is incredible and the guides definitely make it a memorable experience. A BIG THANK YOU to CMH for an awesome adventure!

If you’re looking for the ultimate Canadian mountain experience, this is where you need to be. From the moment you arrive, they whisk you off in a helicopter to the most beautiful lodge filled with phenomenal staff. They feed you incredible meals to fill you with energy for the most breathtaking hikes you could imagine. They will cater to all levels of fitness to make sure you have an adventure that is uniquely yours. Safety is very important, but still allows you the opportunity to step outside your comfort zone.

This is literally the best experience anyone can go on. From hard terrain for me and my husband to nice and easy walks through meadows for my 78 year old father in law, CMH knows what they’re doing and treats you like a rock star. You cannot beat the terrain, absolutely breath taking sights wherever you look that you truly can’t see many other places.

I can't recommend the CMH Heli-Hiking experience enough (and especially the photography workshop with Kahli April Photography). It was a life changing trip, and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I've traveled a lot through the years, and this trip ranks high as one of the most remarkable experiences I've had. There is just nothing like being dropped by a helicopter in a wildflower meadow with streams flowing by and mountain peaks towering above! The accommodation and food are amazing, but the most amazing aspect is the service, as everyone, in whatever position, goes above and beyond to care for the guests. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

I can't recommend CMH heli-hiking highly enough. Being dropped off by a helicopter at the trail head and then picked up when you're done adds a really cool dimension to the trip. Better yet, heli-hiking makes beautiful areas that are close to impossible to get to accessible to ordinary folks. I travelled on two via ferratas during my stay, one above the Conrad ice field and the other up and over Mount Nimbus, and they were both a blast for a rookie wannabe mountaineer like myself. Very different experiences, but the views along both are jaw-dropping, the terrain is diverse and fun to hike through, and the guides are world-class. The most essential gear is provided, and it's also top of the line stuff: I fell in love with the boots they let me use. Finally, the Bobbie Burns lodge was basically a Ritz-Carlton for people who enjoy hiking. Steam room, hot tub, comfy bed and big shower, and they feed you three gourmet meals a day plus snacks and a fully stocked bar. I definitely intend to book more vacations with CMH in the future, and you should, too!
