"EdgeWalk at the CN Tower Since it was built back in 1976, the CN Tower has toppedthe must-visit list of most Toronto tourists. Until recently, a visit was pretty standard; hop in elevator, shoot up to the observation deck, and ogle the city from a hawk’s vantage point. While this was certainlyfine and enjoyable, the since-developed EdgeWalk experience has ramped up the Tower's bucket-list potential. Thrill-seekers can now do a hands-free, breezy circumnavigation of the tower’s roof, up at 1,168 feet. And, yes, they do perform sky-high weddings complete with elasticized rings and special attire for the big day."

Yelp
Sort of a tourist trap but with an amazing view. I want to do the stairs...yeah I like that ( you can only do it twice a year for charity). The deck walk is crazy...especially when windy.

Yelp
I'm really showing my age here but when I see the CN Tower, I can't help but see Drake sitting on it on the Views album cover. You really had to be there for that album roll out. Our whole world stopped on Views night. My group of friends all sat around the KRK Classic 5 Powered Studio Speakers in our dorm living room with a bottle of Henny, a liter of Martinelli's apple juice, and the aux plugged into an Iphone 6 awaiting the drop. Simpler times. My research shows that if Drake were to scale on the Views cover, he would be 12 feet tall. He still couldn't guard me though I'm just too shifty. I had no idea the CN Tower was the world's tallest free-standing structure for 32 years, until it got MOGGED by the Burj Khalifa... Damn by 890 ft too that's so disrespectful. 49.67% taller... oof. Father time is undefeated though. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

Yelp
I was extremely young the first time I visited the CN Tower. I was in kindergarten (I want to say junior) when my class did a field trip to the tallest free-standing structure in the world back then. I remember taking the elevator all the way to the top. I felt the slight pressure in my ears as we ascended, but it wasn't crazy. I didn't like being up so high. Yes, I wasn't great with heights then. I'm slightly better now. Slightly. The CN Tower started being built in 1973. In 1976, it was completed. It was the tallest free-standing structure for decades. It was dethroned in 2007. It is now the tallest free-standing structure in the western hemisphere and the tenth tallest one in the world. Not too shabby. I remember taking my friend, who was visiting Toronto for the first time, up to the CN Tower's observation deck. We both lived in Winnipeg at the time and were in town for our friend's wedding. My friend loved it. What was new about the observation deck was the see-through glass floor. He was fine with it. It made me freeze. It was scary to me walking on it and looking down. There's a restaurant that slowly rotates as you dine. It's cool, but it's expensive to dine there. Frankly, the price to get into this structure is expensive. However, if you're a tourist and want nice photos of Toronto, I'd recommend going for it. You will never see me doing the outdoor EdgeWalk. I wouldn't do it if you paid me a ton of money. I'd rather be poor than risk getting a heart attack and dying of fear. You can find parking nearby. It can be expensive. It may be better to take public transit down to Union station and walk over. Yelp
This is a beautiful space especially if you want to take pictures. If you are scared of heights there is enough space to stay away from the windows. There is also 2 food stands and they sell alcohol as well. The shop on the bottom floor is expensive. Skip the $42 pictures I'd you that they are selling. Not worth it.

Yelp
Amazing tower and observation deck with a wonderful restaurant too. It is the largest freestanding tower in the Western Hemisphere and the second tallest in the world. Great views of Toronto. They also have an excellent gift shop. There was great visual art and a Taylor Swift exhibit by a local photographer from Mississaugua that was great to see during the first night of the Eras Tour here.

Yelp
Had a great experience! Food was super tasty. The views at sunset were breath taking! We did find a hair in our food but the waiter handled it well!

Yelp
My experience at the CN Tower was delightful! Entering into the building went smoothly. I would recommend purchasing tickets online beforehand to help avoid any additional waiting times. My family and I chose to have lunch at the CN Tower which included access to the observation deck. However, the views from the 360 restaurant were so absolutely breathtaking, I had no huge desire to go down to the observation deck afterwards. Our service at the 360 restaurant was spectacular! I was celebrating my birthday (belated) and staff were all very attentive, kind and made sure to wish me a happy birthday, which made my day The appetizers, entrees and cocktails were all perfectly prepared. Absolutely no complaints with our meals. Yes, this experience is a bit on the pricey side but I would definitely recommend it. Reservations are required.

Yelp
One of the most iconic landmarks in Toronto and maybe even in the whole country of Canada. This structure definitely defines the Toronto Skyline, without it, it would just be a bunch of tall buildings near Lake Ontario. We got our timed tickets the same day, but were able to get the AAA discount (10% off). This discount is only available in person not online. The ascend was fun in the glass elevator and out time up there was fun looking at the beautiful city from high above. If you are planning to do several sights, the CityPass is worth it, since it includes the CN tower and 2 other attractions for one low price.

Yelp
Great spot for tours since the tower is real easy to spot, but I wouldn't go inside because the walk is mighty tedious and in my opinion the price to pay wasn't the best. It's best to go in nighttime too, that's a tip!

Yelp
$132 (including taxes) to go up to the top! The view from the "general admission" area was actually AMAZING and much better than that from the top. Hats off to those who can do the Edge Walk. I was going to faint just looking at them.

Yelp
Must go attraction if you go to Toronto. It's the best way to view of the city. It's included in the city pass and you need to book in advance with time. The best time to go up will be in the afternoon which you can enjoy the sunset as well. You can buy snacks, food and drinks up there while enjoying the beautiful view. Its hard to find parking there. We used SpotHero to find the cheapest parking around. Super fun observation view deck and restaurant that slowly spins at the top of the tower, so while you eat, you get the full 360 degree view without even moving! The 360 restaurant provided incredible views and very nice views. Great for a special event or if you're visiting tower! Would recommend, especially at sunset on a clear day!

Yelp
8/22/2024 Observation deck in Downton Toronto. A great way to see Toronto from above for all ages. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or in person either outside the queue or inside just after security check point. Standard entry only includes access to the observation deck and access to the summit is at an additional fee. The queue went by quite quickly, in all it took roughly 20 minutes from the outside to enter and past security check point. Access to the summit is time stamped, but that you can access it between the assigned time frame. The observation deck: took 55 seconds by way of lift to reach. A 365 view of Toronto can be observed along with two cafes for a quick bite while taking photos. An additional 24 seconds brought one up further to the summit. In comparison: the CN Tower is one of the older observatories, and so the design and space isn't as large or grand like Taiwan's Taipei 101. While the view was breathtaking, I'm sure it would have been even more beautiful at night with the city being lit. Interactive: there were separate areas where one can lean against the floor to ceiling windows to feel just how high up you are. Open glass flooring allowed one to experience the high height. The staff personnel: 99% were extremely friendly and patient, as managing large gatherings into an elevator is not an easy feat. The 1% on the other hand were in the gift shop, where they proved to be less than helpful. In any case, a great way to see Toronto.

Yelp
The CN Tower in Toronto is one of those iconic bucket list items you'll definitely want to check off when you're visiting the city. It's like Toronto's version of the Eiffel Tower, but with more poutine nearby. So, you hit the Ripley's Believe It or Not Aquarium, take in the CN Tower, and then dive into the food scene--check, check, and check. Now, let's talk about the price. If you're already planning to hit the CN Tower, do yourself a favor and pair it with Ripley's Aquarium right next door. Why? Because if you're going to drop around $200 for five people, you might as well get the most bang for your Canadian buck. Trust me, combining the two makes the sticker shock feel a little less shocking and a lot more like a two-for-one deal (even if it's not). In summary: the CN Tower is a must-see, no question, but make sure you go online and book it together with Ripley's for the full experience. You'll feel like you've conquered Toronto's top attractions in one fell swoop, and your wallet might even forgive you. Highly recommended--just be prepared to hand over some serious loonies!

Yelp
The CN Tower is such an iconic landmark in Toronto. To avoid having to wait multiple lines I just ordered my ticket online https://www.cntower.ca/

Yelp
So much fun! At first I thought I figured this wasn't worth my time... this was so epic. Being over 100 stories high and able to touch the glass like you are falling off was so much fun! Also there is a part where you can lay (or stand) over glass to see under you! So much fun... this is not for people with a fear of falling or heights! Would recommend for any one even if they can run up to check it real fast it's so much fun!!! We had a blast!

Yelp
Not too many things you must check out in Toronto, but this is one of them. We went at night for dinner, but the views at night were still pretty awesome. It's pretty fun to just walk around to different areas to get views of different parts of the city. They have a gift shop before you exit and you can also buy a souvenir photo that they take when you first enter.

Yelp
After finding out the tickets just to go up were around $50 each, we decided to eat at the 360 restaurant to get some food with the views and loved it! It was a little cloudy at the beginning of the meal but we made the most of it and the food was really delicious so it still felt worth it. It did clear up over time and we elected to pay the extra $10 to go up to the highest level. For the dishes, I can't remember the exact names of what we got and it seems like the menu changes frequently anyways, but everything was flavorful and honestly cooked perfectly, it's just what I expected from the meal and they give you plenty of time to eat and get about 2 revolutions of the restaurant in!

Yelp
I made reservations to dine here for my best friends birthday. The view and drinks definitely made up for the meal. In order to dine at the CN Tower, you have to spend a minimum of $75/meal per person. Which also includes admission to the observation deck afterwards. Anyway, you have the option to pick from a Prix fixe: (2 course $75 / 3 course $90) or select items from the menu a la carte. We ordered bread (which is extra) and I had their SEARED ALBACORE TUNA as an appetizer which was decent. For the main entree, I wanted to try the ONTARIO PICKEREL and I was very disappointed. It was very bland. Despite me trying to doctor it up with salt and pepper. I did however devour the red beets, pearl couscous, broccolini, crushed walnuts, fresh tomato vinaigrette that surrounded it. Our waiter Michael noticed that I was not a fan of the fish and ended up offering a dessert in its place. The RASPBERRY AND PISTACHIO LAYER CAKE was very good! And made up for the fish entree. I was hoping since it was my friends birthday, that they would do a special dessert for her (birthday cake, sing) but they did provide a card that said Happy Birthday. The cocktails that we selected were good. I started off with an Old Fashioned which was ok so I switched to another cocktail. I forgot what it was but it was good. After that we went below to the observation deck before leaving.

Yelp
CN Tower is a Toronto landmark and a bucket list item for anyone with a love of tall buildings (well...towers)! The ride in the elevator is quick, considering you're going over 1000 ft up. Unfortunately, we chose a cloudy night and an event was going on in much of the area but it was still a memorable experience. Having been before on a better day, the Toronto cityscape is best viewed from high up and it is easy to spot the city's landmarks from above. Will definitely return on our next trip!

Yelp
If you eat at the restaurant, you also get access to the viewing decks below it. It was confusing to get to the restaurant - you have to go through a series of security checkpoints, elevators, desks, and a tourist photo point that you can skip. For those who are still covid cautious, it wasn't too busy at 4pm on a Tuesday and the air circulation seemed okay throughout the building. We both ordered the indigenous menu. I'm glad we supported the menu, and I'm glad I got to go once, but I don't think I need to ever go again. It was delicious and very filling, but the quality of the food and the service for the price was not so worthwhile for me. Some of the food felt stale or reheated, and the waiter didn't tell us what was on the plates that we ordered (we didn't have the menu to reference anymore). Felt a bit rushed. Overall, met my expectation for a tourist checkpoint. Cured Salmon appetizer: The fried bannock was akin to a very stale puffed fried wonton. The salmon itself, the berries, and creme fraiche were nice. The salmon was nice. Chewy cubes, not very salty. You will want to chew on them thoroughly for full flavor experience, though I personally preferred to mush them into the berries and creme fraiche for additional sweet flavor. The berries were a little bitter, tart, and sweet, which was a nice combination and paired well with the creme fraiche that kind of mellowed it all out. Braised Bison Short Rib: The meat felt a little like it was reheated. Just a little lukewarm and tough in parts (but also very soft in other parts). My favorite part of this dish was the sweet potato puree (sweet and savory - think of a pumpkin or bean pie but more savory), which I wanted to put on everything. I also really liked the carrots, which were sweet and a little crispy from oven roasted caramelization. The sunchokes are similar in flavor and texture to turnips. I also enjoyed the texture of the puffed wild rice - would be excellent on salad. They kind of have the unfortunate appearance of maggots on the meat, but they don't provide any protein :) Elderberry Panna Cotta: This was really more of an acai bowl with a dab of cedar jelly and a few spoons of granola tossed on top. I liked the soft milk-chocolate-like flat toffee thing served with it, and I wish there were more cedar jelly. Overall it was okay and very filling. The elevator staff were very fun and nice. The views were nice before sunset. We made it through about 1.5 rotations before leaving dinner. Definitely go at least once in your life and support the indigenous menu.

Yelp
What a massive disappointment. Visiting Toronto for the first time. My wife and I are celebrating our 25 year anniversary and she is participating in the annual Breast Cancer walk with her cousins that live in the area. I made 6pm dinner reservations for this past Friday night and requested a window table as it was our anniversary. Upon checking in, I reminded the hostess that I requested a window table (again, a special anniversary) and she said she had a good table for us near a window. I was a little concerned because it sounded like a pat answer and as I feared, we ended up basically as far from the window as a party of 2 could be seated. I understand how these things work, but at least be honest and up front about where you were going to seat us. I ordered the 2 course prix fixe with a glass of Chardonnay and my wife the 3 course prix fixe. The mussels were good, the smoked pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon was absolutely tasteless, as was the braised red cabbage (braised in what...water?). OMG...use a little seasoning when you cook. Out of the 3 medallions of pork, I ate less than 1 and 1/3. The food here is large wedding catered quality. By eating dinner at the restaurant you get access to the Observation Deck and that was basically the only thing good about this experience. The min required spend for dinner per person is $75. My recommendation is buy the ticket to go to the observation deck (my wife's cisousins said there are plenty of deals/coupons that can get you access to that for $30 instead of the normal $47). Then go eat somewhere with better food....which is basically any sit down restaurant elsewhere in Toronto. On the plus side, it was a memorable 25th wedding anniversary dinner, if for all the wrong reasons.

Yelp
I recently went up the CN Tower for the first time since I was a kid. My colleagues and I had lunch at the 360 Restaurant, before exploring other parts of the CN Tower. The CN Tower itself is a spectacular piece of architecture and an iconic part of the city skyline. I'd recommend anyone visiting Toronto to go up. I thought the glass floor section was pretty cool too - it really helped you get a sense of just how high up you are! I have more mixed feelings about the restaurant experience. I enjoyed how the restaurant spun around at a slow pace, allowing you to get the full 360 degree view, however, the food wasn't particularly special and the portions were quite small.
google avatar

Jason Q.

Yelp
I really like this. The exhibit on the bottom floor explains the history of the CN tower. You can see everything once on top. The elevator has an attendant who rides up with you so it feels more safer. It's a very great tower, the glass floor looking straight down. I see kids and people laying down on it. But it's a very cool experience for those who are in Toronto. It's a must visit. You can even see planes take off and land at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.
google avatar

Joren C.

Yelp
The CN Tower was a bit of a letdown during our visit. While the view from the top is impressive, it's hard to justify the steep price for admission, especially given the experience we had. When we went, half of the building was closed off for a private event, which meant we couldn't fully enjoy all the attractions and areas that are usually open to the public. For such an expensive ticket, it was frustrating to feel like we didn't get our money's worth. The limited access and high cost made it feel more like a tourist trap than the iconic experience it's marketed as. Definitely not worth the price, especially if you're hoping to see everything the tower has to offer.
google avatar

Yelp
I guess you can't come to Toronto without visiting the famous CN Tower or even just taking a selfie with it. I walked over here from Nathan Phillips Square. As you got closer, it was easy to find. There are also signs pointing you in that direction. It's located next door to Ripley's Aquarium. Before going in, you have to pass through a security check and then you can purchase tickets. There are 3 different experiences. There's a premier option (VIP) but honestly you can save your money. -general admission - $43-45 CAD for adult -general admission plus skypod $53 CAD for an adult -edgewalk (includes observatory and skypod) $199-225 for an adult I chose the second option. It started to rain so I didn't think I would get any good views for the edgewalk, with it being cloudy. On the way to the elevator up, you'll pass the enormous gift shop down below. The elevator has windows, if it's not crowded you can get some great pictures while going up or down. The main observation deck is unsurprisingly busy and crowded. You have to squeeze in just to look out the window and take some pictures. On the same level, you can find the Vue Bistros and 360 restaurant if you're hungry and want to grab a snack or meal. Once I was finished, I went up to the skypod. It's a separate elevator and they scan your tickets. This one was well worth the extra $10. Peaceful and you can leisurely enjoy the views, without too many people being in your pictures. Just a note that this area is a lot smaller, so it could get crowded really fast. Make sure you check out the glass floor where you can see the ground underneath your feet. I didn't get any good videos or pictures, since you have an abundance of people lying down on the dirty floor and taking pictures. Very cheesy and cringe worthy since everyone is literally doing the same exact pose.

Yelp
If you can only see one attraction while in Toronto, this would be it. It is the cities signature landmark. There are metered parking, commercial lots, and commercial garages available to park at within a reasonable walking distance. It is located near in the shadow of the Rogers Centre and the aquarium. The tower was built in 1976 and stands 1,815 feet. It also goes by the name Canadian National Tower and Canada's National Tower. You have a few options when visiting the tower. You can do the general admission, which takes you up to the viewing station. You can upgrade and go a bit higher and view from the Skypod. The most expensive expercienc is the SkyWalk, where you walk outside of the tower on a harness. General admission and some photos are included with the purchase of the Skywalk. I decided to do the Skywalk option. Before you are allowed to go into the tower, you have to go through security screening. The ground level has a little play area, a gift shop, and a snack bar. It is also where you purchase your timed ticket and souvenir photos from the tower. You do not have to pay anything to be in this area and is a good place for those that are waiting for members of their group that are doing one of the paid tower attractions like the Edge Walk. The Edge walk lasts about an hour to an hour an a half. You can not take anything up with you including wallets, watches, earrings, phones, and keys. They provide lockers to secure your items or you can leave them at home. They recommend getting there 30 minutes before, but I got there less than 10 minutes and was fine. I was able to sign my waiver and get checked in with time to spare. They provide you with a jump suit and gloves, hats, and/or a coat if needed. It was cold during my visit, so I took advantage of all of the above. Please keep in mind, it is about 5 degrees colder up there, when making your decision. It was fun and I highly recommend it, if you can work it into your budget. The entire staff at the toer was very nice. I was leaving the following day after my Edwalkwalk, so, I used my ticket to go up to the tower after my walk. It was very cloudy and I could not see anyting. I feel sorry for those people that purchased general admission. They were just able to look into a cloud. The viewing level has a small cafe, some public art and a really cool glass floor that you can see all the way down. I will say that pre-purchasing your ticket is a gamble. There are no refunds and you may end up looking at a boring white haze. I know it is better to purchase tickets early so that you can ensure your time slot. I will just be sure to check the weather (even though not a guarantee) before you do. I really enjoyed the tower and they are still making renovations and improvements to it. I highly recommend making this part of your itinerary while in Toronto.

Yelp
This was probably one of my favorite skyscraper to date and I've been on a few. We bought tickets online and set up a specific time. Our hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the CN Tower, so that was easy ;) Got there, went through the line, skipped tourist picture thing and went up. Luckily we had a sunny clear day that day and the views were amazing!! What I like is that this tower is round instead of squared off like most are, so there really isn't a bad shot from anywhere. If you get the chance you should check it out.

Yelp
I have been to the CN Tower many times in my life and I have absolutely no idea how I never wrote a Yelp review for it, so here we go. The CN Tower is a tourist trap for the most part, but one that is absolutely worth doing to catch a view of the city that made me who I am today. This tower is insanely massive and once you take the long elevator ride up, you are greeted by a completely circular view of Toronto in all it's glory. I have been up both during the day and at night and both have ups and downs. During the day, you can obviously see VERY far in every direction getting views as far as Vaughn and Rochester (I've never seen Rochester, but they keep saying you can on a super clear day). At night, you see less far but you see all the lights this city has to offer and they seem endless. On top of the amazing views and cool building itself, the staff here has always been super friendly and have even been known to crack some jokes on the way up and down. Overall, the CN Tower is Toronto. Whether you are looking at the Space Needle in Seattle or the Strat in Las Vegas, neither of those buildings come close to the size of our CN Tower. Tourist trap? Yeah, of course, but one of the coolest things to see as well.
google avatar

Ree T.

Yelp
This was simply an amazing experience! I brought my mom here on a recommendation. It did not disappoint. I went to go to the restaurant at the top. That's a separate review. The views from the building were wonderful. The gift shopping and views were worth the visit.

Yelp
I grew up in the GTA and the CN Tower was a must-see for my boyfriend and I when coming back to visit. This was my third time visiting and I was still blown away by how pretty the city looks from so high up. I remember when I was five or six being able to see the CN Tower from the bathroom window at my parents' apartment and just being in awe of how beautiful it is, and it still is gorgeous even though the city has grown up around it in the last fifteen years. We planned our visit for just before sunset so we could see the city light up and glitter. It ended up being a good call and we spent a little over an hour watching the sun set. The pictures we got were so beautiful and we loved getting to experience that. I was a little sad that part of the CN Tower was under construction, but my boyfriend and I still had a great time. We're already planning to return soon and hopefully do the Edgewalk on our next visit.
google avatar

Lauren C.

Yelp
Highly recommend the CN tower. It has 360 degree views of the city. There also a restaurant, however a reservation is required and need to be made several weeks in advance.
google avatar

Yelp
If I am not mistaken, CN Tower was the tallest structure in the world at one point. However, after a taller structure was built in Dubai, CN Tower is now the tallest structure in the Western Hemisphere. You can see all around Toronto fr CN Tower: Rogers Centre, Scotiabank Arena, the city skyline, Toronto Island and more. I do recommend you pay a little extra, and obtain a reserved entrance ticket, so you can skip the long general population line. They have a fancy restaurant on top, as well as a more casual one that also serves alcohol. We didn't indulge bc there was no where to sit. Also missing was info on the tower (when it was built, et al), or some employees you could ask questions of. Either of the foregoing would have been nice. Nonetheless, when you are in Toronto, CN Tower is a must visit place. If you are into heights (I am not), you can hang suspended fr the top and see the sights even better.
google avatar

Elaine N.

Yelp
After spending my day at Toronto Island Park, I decided to go to CN Tower! I went here on a Thursday around 7:08pm and there was such a long line of people! You also have to go through a metal detector before they let you in the tower. Anyways, I spend about 2 hours inside CN Tower since I wanted to watch the sunset and also wait until it got fully dark, which many other people did too. This tower has a few places to sit while looking at the views. I remember seeing people ordered food and drinks there since there's also tables where you can sit and eat. I thought that was cool since I thought people would be walking around and looking at the skyline at first. Most people didn't get any food to eat though. I'd recommend this place! If you go at night or around sunset, it can get super crowded here. There's so many good views at every corner here since it's so high up!
google avatar

Sarah T.

Yelp
It was foggy but so glad it cleared up. Great views throughout the area. I was able to view the tower as I walked the financial district and near Union Station.
google avatar

Shannon H.

Yelp
I got the chef trio special which was salmon tartar with sweet potato chips, bison tenderloin with broccolini and I can't remember what else but it was yummy, the dessert I'm not sure what it was either but was like a cake with white chocolate and a berry compote 10/10. The drink I got was also delicious. Only thing I was underwhelmed by was the charcuterie. My coworker got the gnocci which I tried and was fabulous! The food is expensive but your paying for the experience which the view from up there was stunning
google avatar

Emmie H.

Yelp
This place is so beautiful from the top. My son and I went there in September and it was amazing. I love the view from the top of the tower. You really did have a 360* from the top. You could see all of Toronto and a beautiful view of Lake Ontario. There was tons of food options and great cocktails

Yelp
What an experience!! I came here over the summer for my birthday and had such a great time. The process to get tickets online was easy and entry was very smooth and organized. The views were stunning and something I'll never forget. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area.

Yelp
Loved the view, just super crowed all the time. Did not get to experience it like I wanted to. Maybe a different system for crowd control.

Yelp
This is a 5 star on all aspects of dining: food, ambiance, and service. Dining here was the highlight of our trip. The 360° view was breathtaking! Make your reservation ahead of time. Also, the benefit of going to this restaurant is you byoass the long lines of tourists going to the observatory. There's a separate line/entrance to get to the restaurant. After dining, you can go to the observatory. Admission is free for diners.

Yelp
A must do experience in Toronto. The CN tower is massively tall even in comparison to other observation decks. The experience consists of an elevator ride up to walk around the observation area. There's also a second lower floor where there is a glass bottom ceiling. There is a food concession at the top as well as bathrooms. If you're feeling daring, you can sign up for the edge walk or you can book a reservation at their fine dining restaurant. Plan ahead by pre purchasing your timed ticket online. We went at 5pm and the lighting was perfect. We purchased the tickets with the aquarium tickets so there was a discount. I will say it took an hour from the time we first entered to go through security and the queue to get to the elevator. It was a really long and stretched out wait for a short experience so be prepared especially if you have younger kids.

Yelp
Having been to observation decks all over the world, it is hard to be amazed by them anymore. The CN Tower is still a decent one. It is the tallest structure in Canada at 1,815 feet tall. The highlight of this place is the glass floor, where you can stand on it and see all the way down to street level. Visitors to Toronto should go here just because of the views and because it's the most famous place in the city. There is also a 360 degree restaurant at the top that might be worth checking out.

Yelp
CN Tower is definitely a top tourist destination in Toronto. The views are amazing and I feel like it is a must for visitors. The wait just to get up took close to an hour. Tickets were $43 ordering online. Theres signage outside for QR code to scan and order tickets online to avoid the long line of people purchasing tickets in person. The Skypod tickets will run you another $10. I'd say it's worth it to go ahead and spend an additional $10 as this is a one and done type of experience for me. I highly recommend getting tickets ahead of time online. The skypod tickets available were a bit after my reservation time for my general tickets. That was not a huge deal. We just decided to get a drink and gaze at the views a bit longer before our scheduled time to go up.

Yelp
Destination - yup, tourist destination for sure! Go up to get the best view of the city. About $45 for adults and other rates for kids and senior citizens. Something to try - try the dinner as it's only a few more $$ to add to the view deck ticket. Unfortunately they didn't have any openings available so book early and plan ahead.

Yelp
Restaurant was more high end and fancier than expected. This isn't a burger and fries touristy trap and may not be a great choice for dining for little ones. That all being said the food and staff were spectacular and of course the views were amazing. The restaurant does a full 360 in roughly 80 minutes

Yelp
Of course this is must to do when visiting Toronto for the 1st time. We were able to get our entry included with our dinner at the 360 Restaurant so rather than paying just $35 for a ticket alone we had the 3 course dinner which I do recommend. You will have to go through security check but for the most part the line does move. I am not sure if at anytime do they allow you to go outside when at the top unfortunately some parts of the observatory is/was under renovation.

Yelp
CN tower is the Typical tourist attraction, but worth going if you have a discount. Visited on a weekend around sunset, the line was a bit long but moved very quickly. The views are beautiful, but other than that there's not much to see or do. Much of it was under construction, so I'm not sure if there are cool things to do on a regular basis. There are some cool restaurants and bars at the top, if you have time to grab a drink.

Yelp
This review is for the 360 restaurant package. Highly recommend as definitely the best way to visit the CN tower! You skip the line with the reservation and $75 isn't a rip off because the restaurant is perfectly decent. Fun and novel spinning around. Great service and easy access to bathrooms and other floors of the tower after the meal.

Yelp
The CN Tower was awesome! Next time we are in town we will do the tower again. We had such a good time visiting the very top, the main level and also the restaurant. The food is not the best but the views are amazing. If your in town I highly encourage you to visit the CN Tower. The $10 extra for the very top is well worth it. We parked right at the tower and it was only $20
