"A tour of CNNCenter offers a fascinating look at what it takes to run the 24-hour news cycle. At the world headquarters, founded by media icon Ted Turner in 1980, guests can tour the actual news desks andsee a replica of the famed green screen. If you’re lucky, you might also witness the filming of segments for shows like HLN Morning Express and Headline News ,which are based here."

If You are in Atlanta this is one of the “A Must” do attractions not only is educational but also very interesting tour. The tour will introduce you to a behind the scenes kind of tour where you can enjoy some of the history as to how this huge Cable News Network was created. You will also be using the longest stand alone escalators around the world (pretty cool) and once you finish the tour you will be able to get some food in the food court with plenty of options! One thing I will have to mention is that you are only allowed to take pictures on the beginning of the tour and once you pass the third stage photos are not allowed and phones must be kept away. It is just amazing to be able to get so close to where some of the biggest news are air live every day.

This was my 1st trip to Atlanta from the UK so the CNN building was on my list of places to go in the city. We decided we wasn't going to do the tour as time was short and we had other plans. We still really enjoyed ourselves just being there. The building is huge and seems like there is so much to do. The tour cost was $16.30 which is really good for what you could see. We went into the Cartoon Network store as my daughter loves it. I brought a few things for her as gifts. The staff were very helpful and the building busy. The next time I'm in Atlanta we will definitely be doing the tour.

What happened to this place?!? I remember it 15-20yrs ago when CNN still had viewers - it was full of people and it was exciting to visit, to go up the elevator and see the studios, to visit the gift shops. Are they indeed bankrupt? This was during business hours and everyone I asked assured me that they're working yet it's hard to see any action there... Not recommended and no need to pull off the road for a visit. CNN was fun pace long time ago and not anymore. I guess no one is interested in them nowadays.

This tour is a great way to learn, watch and listen to the elements behind the formation of stories presented by CNN. You get to see the technology, live broadcasts and how all of this comes together to make a live newscast. My only gripe is they try to sell you a picture at a news desk, and you are not allowed to use your camera like other places I have visited. I understand this is a tour (business), but they should allow visitors to take their own pictures at the top of the escalator.

I loved the area, the convenience getting around and especially the CNN HOTEL where my husband and I stayed at. ATL is a warm welcoming place to vacation.

Very nice mall, very active place, secure, the stadium is right there, many options of food, good place to stay and a must go for tourists, I liked it here. It was a place we could eat and relax, watch the news and have good conversations. I recommend it as a good friend gathering place or maybe even good for a date. I liked this Hotel-mall

It's not everyday you get to see what goes on behind the scene of a news network. The cable news network is the 1st 24 hrs network who revolutionized news broadcasting. Of course depending on the right side of political spectrum May make the difference however people van enjoy the view of the tour that is given in this headquarter of the cable news news network. Not a lot of picture or video you can take but you get to know a lot of interesting stuff. Enjoy.

I was absolutely not impressed. The tour didn't start on time and it was harder getting through their security then it was at the airport, which for anyone experienced with airport travel, knows it's not easy. The tour doesn't have a whole lot to offer and it definitely felt like we did more walking and waiting then we did learning interesting things and seeing anything fascinating. I had higher expectations. Plus the ticket for the tour had a $2 off coupon for a restaurant that expired in 2016, and it's almost 2018. Fake promotions, too, apparently. They definitely aren't on top of it and it all just seems like a ploy to make money.
