We've stayed with Coast Cabins on at least six different occasions. It's our #1 favorite spot when visiting the Oregon Coast. The staff at CC is nothing short of amazing. Each of the cabins are inviting and cozy. We've stayed in every single one of the cabins and love them all. We will be clients of Coast Cabins 'til our dyin' days! :-) m.e.

Google
Absolutely adore staying at Coast Cabins. It has an ambiance unlike any other place we've stayed at with the communal outdoor fire, the beautiful smells in the cabin and throughout the property and the comfortable and cozy cabins. It is a splurge for us but worth every penny.

There were a lot of options for our two-night winter trip to Manzanita on the Oregon Coast, and we eventually selected a Coast Cabins condo (Loft #6 - The Neahkahnie) in the heart of town. It was terrific. Centrally located, plenty of space, high ceilings, gas fireplace (awesome in the winter!), great open kitchen/living room floor plan, modern design and decor--all within a short walk to the beach. The folks at CC were able to accommodate our very late arrival with ease, and were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I almost hesitate to leave them this rave review because I don't want the place to be booked the next time we want to visit! 😄 We'll definitely be staying there again.

What an amazing hidden gem on the Oregon Coast! We stayed at Seaclliff Cabin which is a gorgeous home perched on a hill just above the beach that gives you incredible views of the ocean and Neahkahnie mountain. The photos don't do this house justice! It's kind of a modern Scandinavian design with tons of beautiful woodwork and modern furnishings inside and an amazing spa patio behind the house in the woods with a hot tub, sauna, outdoor shower and a lovely covered area for sitting and cooling off in -between soaks and sauna sessions. The house is stocked with everything you need for cooking and luxuriating while you're there. The layout of the house is super cozy and inviting and the whole time we were just pinching ourselves that we found this amazing retreat. The staff are super conscientious and accommodating and they provided us with wonderful snacks and sweet treats and wine. They have really thought of everything. We can't wait to come back!

Google
We spent four nights in Cabin 2, which is their smallest offering. The room is well appointed and comfortable, but due to its size lacks a reading book. It does, however, include a small kitchette. Many little details were much appreciated: effective light-blocking curtains, a rose and personal note welcoming us for our celebration, chocolates, hazelnuts and fresh fruit in the room. The cabins are very conveniently located to restaurants and shops. We walked everywhere in Manzanita. The staff was charming, our stay pleasant.

Google
This place is an amazing gem on OR coast. We stayed in #5 and the grounds, cabin, etc were extremely clean, quiet and accomodating. This place is super dog friendly and will have appropiate size dog beds. When my wife and I showed up we were welcomed with a glass of wine and cold beer. Definitely recommend and we will have to be back sooner than later!!

Google
First time to Oregon…awesome! Magical and beautiful state. What made it over the top was our stay at Coast Cabins. One of my favorite places we’ve ever stayed! It’s like sleeping outdoors with all the luxuries of indoors. Cool breezes and sounds of water features, through open windows had us sleeping like babies every night. Love Kerry and Elizabeth.…they make a great team…creating an atmosphere of comfort, relaxation and care for their guests. I got teary-eyed when we left. Felt like saying goodbye to family! Visit this place! You won’t be disappointed!!

Google
We had such an incredible stay in Cabin 3. We are so sad to leave! They thought of absolutely everything in the cabins! They provided some s’mores supplies, tea and coffee, and the comfiest bedding for a lovely and cozy stay. I highly recommend and can not wait to come back.

Yelp
What a special location. I actually called to ask questions before booking and had the most lovely interaction with the team. Customer service is truly exceptional from reservation to departure. From helping me arrange a special arrival gift, to help with tips during stay, the team was crazy prompt and kind. House is super clean, beds are extremely comfortable and all of the toiletries are top of the line. The neighborhood is quiet like you own the entire part of the beach. And being a short walk to the beach right in front of you added to the magical experience. Couch super comfy and amazing spot for the views throughout. Deck is chef's kiss. Perfect chairs and tables in the best spot for appetizers and wine each afternoon to enjoy sunset. This is a wonderful town and great location for couples to escape.

Yelp
The perfect place to stay! From the moment we were greeted with wine to a personal tour of our cabin (#4) we were blown away! I have stayed one other time 2 years ago and came back with a friend of mine for a girls getaway. Just the best in every way . . . private, cozy and lovely! Every detail in the cabin is top notch! And the sweet little town of Manzanita is simply the best! We met the most amazing people and will be back for sure! Thank you so much!

Brittany H.

Yelp
This place exceeds expectation! We booked this place because we were looking for the perfect place for my fiancée birthday weekend. We wanted to relax, unplug and have some down time! We booked cabin # 4! I had hoped for #5 but I am so happy with our choice. Upon arriving Kerry met us in the office. She gave us a glass of wine each and we went off to our cabin. She gave us the tour and some tips then let us settle in. They had a wonderful tray of some snacks, fully stocked kitchen, wood for a indoor fire, and a private hot tube. The cabin was spacious, modern, clean and very comfortable! If you need anything the second day you're there you just write it on the chalk board! When we came back it was one the front porch for us. We cook all but one meal in the cabin and there was everything we needed to do so. Only thing to note for guest is you need to bring your own spices and cooking spray! They a Nespresso and ground coffee to meet everyone's taste. They had tea as well for the non coffee drinkers. The cabins are at the beginning of the town and are on the main road. Your close to the coast, hwy, shops and everything you could need. This place is a tad expensive but super worth it!

Matt D.

Yelp
Highly recommended! Great staff, beautiful private accommodations located in one of the best costal cities on the west coast, Manzanita. You won't be disappointed.

Kristen S.

Yelp
Hidden behind tall hedges and within a bamboo grove Coast Cabins is just perfect. Every detail, every thoughtful touch from the sound of water and the crackle from the fire pit which is lit everyday at 4pm and where you enjoy a glass of wine offered at check in, to the orchids which grace every room, to the calming sound of music softly inviting you to breathe, to rest, to melt away the drive, to sleep in the trees, drifting off while watching the bamboo sway in the breeze. Yes: clean, quiet, hidden, private. Your own private outdoor fireplace to fill the coastal air bringing to mind memories of camping under the moon and the stars. A hot tub, having been drained and refreshed putting your mind at ease. Big towels, plush Coyuchi robes and really good coffee! Most of all Coast Cabins lovely and gracious staff and owners make you feel as if you are miles away from the chaos- a true refuge.

Dana B.

Yelp
Coast Cabins is the perfect place for a luxurious getaway. We stayed for our anniversary and were able to truly disconnect and just enjoy the sounds of the birds and the rustling of the bamboo in the wind. The property and its cabins offer privacy but are close to restaurants, shopping and the beach, all within walking distance. The property itself is meticulously maintained and the cabins are full of amenities. We made sure to purchase groceries and bring them with us because we stayed during the off season (at the end of last summer) when most of the dinner restaurants were closed but it was fine because we got to fully enjoy the cabin with its chef's kitchen, bbq grill, hot tub and sauna. Customer service was excellent, friendly, attentive and responsive to all requests.

Karen K.

Yelp
Wonderful, clean and private! We'll definitely stay again. Such a great getaway in a charming town with a short walk to the beach. -K

Yelp
We stayed their Loft #6 (2 bedroom, 2 Bath, Full Kitchen and 2 Pkg) for Easter weekend as staycation. We wanted to give them 5 Stars! Their Front Staff was super friendly and welcoming us dearly even though we did late check in. Room was spacious, modern, clean, comfortable and dog friendly! All restaurants, cute stores, candy shop, general store, Gym, Spa and beach are walking distance (up to 3-4 blocks) and very convenient. If you want a magical weekend with great privacy, beautiful place and completely walkable to anywhere in Manzantia, stay here!!!!! Its not cheap but worth it! We'll definitely come back there for sure. P.S. Only one thing I love to request was their water pressure (shower) and water heater capacities.... LOL I believe they already fixed it quickly.

Sandra W.

Yelp
Very disappointing. Had to cancel a reservation almost FOUR months ahead of time and still we got charged the cancellation fee. I am sure they are able to have someone else book the spot for these days, so there is really no financial burden done to the hotel. I understand a cancellation fee gets charged if you cancel last minute, but not months ahead of time.

Elissa S.

Yelp
Went here with our dog for a little mini honeymoon/weekend getaway and it was the coziest and relaxing experience! The welcome chocolates and treats were such a nice touch! (Our pup even got a little welcome basket) Our cabin was clean, warm, and had light music playing when we arrived. Even though it rained majority of the weekend, we still enjoyed the clean/private hot tub and made our own delicious dinner with the help of the fully stocked kitchenette. The owner was also sweet enough to send me a text with all the local recommendations of places to visit and restaurants to eat at. We plan to come back for future anniversaries! Highly recommend!

Gaby B.

Yelp
WOW! I wish I could afford to stay here every weekend. Super cute cabins in a great location just a few blocks from all that Manzanita has to offer.

Yelp
We love coast cabins... Having stayed in the windward house a few times as well as the modern ranch. I have nothing but glowing regards for the place, cabins, and staff- Thank you as always Kerry, Elizabeth and Gary for the hospitality and another wonderful time at the windward. The accommodations are comfortable, inviting and wrap you in the beauty of the surrounding landscapes - and the view is just breathtaking. We love Manzanita and are excited to come back next year. There is a reason why this place gets such good reviews, they work hard to keep the beauty of the place so lovely, calming and a great back drop to the magnificent oregon coast- rain or shine we love it!!! thanks again...

Christin S.

Yelp
Beyond our expectation! From the glass of wine at check-in, the private feel of our cabins patio, to the provisions provided (darling s'mores pack), to a dreamy bed... can't wait to come again and stay MORE nights!

Kenneth L.

Yelp
Beautifully hidden in lush landscaping. Great privacy. amazing cabins of various sizes. Charming, lovely, cute, quaint, adorable... you pick the words. If they re positive words they re likely very accurate. We have stayed multiple times. The front desk/manager is always warm and inviting. The outdoor fireplace is great even when the temps are below freezing. If you want a magical weekend with great privacy, beautiful cabins, tricked out furniture and amenities and completely walkable to anywhere in Manzantia, stay here.

Barbara C.

Yelp
I don't even know where to begin to review the Coast Cabins! From being greeted with wine to the personal tour of our cabin, the magic began! Everything was so well appointed and thought out. The linens, the stone fireplace, the private patio and hot tub, the soft music playing when we arrived . . truly a gem and amazing place! The weather was very stormy which was perfect because we truly embraced the cabin (#4) and really didn't even want to venture out! We already want to come back and have recommended it to many! It was a true getaway and will be savoring our memories for days to come. Thank you!!!

Sarah W.

Yelp
Edited to add based up Kerry's response below, as I didn't recall seeing this information: if you click the "check availability" link on the website, as I did when booking, the description there does not call out the potential street noise of this particular cabin; however, there is that detail (and more) under the "Accommodations" link. I wouldn't have thought to look further on the website for any more detail since there was a description, but that's good note for others when choosing where to stay.

Kate C.

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous! Beautiful and serene. Upon check in you receive a complimentary drink. Lots of vino choices for purchase as well. Rooms are clean and decorated to create a calm atmosphere. We had cabin #3 with jacuzzi. I highly recommend. You do hear slight street traffic but nothing crazy. They have a large fire burning consistently if you wanna go down and chill in the common area. You are close to many hiking trails and can walk to beach. I will definitely return. Too many pros to list.

Tracy T.

Yelp
My spouse and I needed a weekend away together. Normally, we'd hop in the truck, load up the camper trailer and head for some campground. But we needed to be nice to ourselves and to each other. We needed a respite from life. We needed a retreat. So we splurged and made a reservation at Cabin 3 at Coast Cabins. It was exactly what we needed! The small cabin made for an intimate weekend get away. We loved the loft bedroom, the soft sheets, the robes, the outdoor hot tub, the privacy and tranquility of the setting. We were also in walking distance to the town amenities and the beach so when it wasn't pouring down rain, we could enjoy a leisure stroll. The only thing that could have been better was having an actual coffee maker (the "Nespresso" provided didn't seem to work for us or our high octane needs). In summary: it was worth the splurge. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Excellent stay, great hosts, and beautiful cottage by the coast. We wanted to unplug for a bit, since it's been a busy year. So we found a lovely cottage hosted in Manzanita Oregon near the coast. It's a small coastal town, where things are open sometimes, and things are calmer and simpler. They offer several small homes in various arrangements described here: https://www.coastcabins.com/accommodations/. We stayed in The Cottage which was lovely secluded despite being a quick walk to anywhere. Kerry was an excellent host, and helped us get everything we needed to get going. The space was clean, modern, private, and was a great way to get unplugged for a few days. We enjoyed some hot tub time, cooking inside and outside, since the weather started out sunny, and ended with sleet and snow by the end. Manzanita has great charm, and lots of local quality food, drinking, beaches and in general isn't busy the way other popular towns have become. If you want a peaceful and easy trip, head out to Manzanita.

Mark M.

Yelp
There is simply no better place to stay on the upper portion of the Oregon Coast. Perfectly decorated and relaxing. Manzanita is more laid back than Cannon Beach but still has good food and a beautiful beach. If you can afford it this is a getaway that is worth every penny. We've stayed here four times and and I cannot recommendation it enough.

Miriam W.

Yelp
From the moment I discovered Coast Cabins I wanted desperately to run away and stay there. So eager was I that when my favorite Washingtonian suggested it might be a tad far for our planned Christmas vacation I fibbed and said I thought Manzanita was just over the California border. Despite my radical untruth (Manzanita is nowhere near California) he made my wish come true and booked three nights for us. When we pulled up to our cabin I knew my expectations would be met and likely exceeded. From the silvery blue fish swimming on the nightstand to the modern organic products (mop) shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom and the soft sheets and duvet on the bed, our hosts had thought of everything (as you might expect two gay men proprietors to do.) Within walking distance of the cabins is the beach, a wonderful bakery called Bread and Ocean as well as a delightful little wine bar called Vino Manzanita (of which the Coast Cabins guys are part-owners.) If you desire modern, well thought-out accommodations on the northern Oregon coast, look no further. Coast Cabins is less than a two hour drive from Portland and an absolutely perfect place to relax, unwind and spend some quality time walking the beach, staring out at the ocean or even just siphoning off the provided wireless to read the New York Times or the Washington Post from bed on your laptops. While I think the place would be gorgeous in summer, we went in winter and the only thing missing was coat hooks on the door.

Lara S.

Yelp
Stay here. It's beautiful. Cabin #5 is Cabin Bliss with spotless, spa-like decor. We soaked in our hot tub, took naps on our private patio, baked in our sauna for two, cooked meals in the gourmet kitchen...it's really remarkable that we ever left the Coast Cabin grounds. But then again, the Northern Oregon Coast is so stunning, it would have been a shame not to explore. You can walk to everything in Manzanita from your cabin, or rent a bike just down the block and go even further. And while the Coast Cabins aren't exactly on the beach, you can still throw the windows open at night to the sound of waves lapping the shoreline. One of the best places we've ever stayed.

Brandy D.

Yelp
Wow, I LOVE Coast Cabins! We were looking for a place to spend our honeymoon on the Oregon coast (right after the wedding) and stumbled upon this fantastic place. We stayed in the Modern Ranch which has two bathrooms, a full kitchen, wrap-around porch, wood-burning stove, grill and hot tub. It was the most relaxing vacation we've ever been on. We decided to cook a lot of our own meals and the staff would come into the our cabin each day and do our dishes! SO GREAT. And it was small details like that which made the stay so incredibly worth it. Oftentimes we'd come back to our cabin with a bucket of local beer waiting for us and, the gesture was so lovely. There were also a lot of little snacks for us as well. Since it was our honeymoon, Coast Cabins set us up with a bottle of champagne which we turned into morning mimosas in the hot tub, because, duh, amazing way to start the day. The cabin's don't have AC, but they don't really need it. And, when it's cool, the wood-burning stove and radiant heated tile made it nice and toasty. Such an incredible experience and we didn't want to leave. I would give anything to visit there again soon!!!

DJ R.

Yelp
Love, love, love!!! We are definitely going back. So cozy and charming! Booked last minute on a weekend so the only available one was the studio. Super clean and really nice amenities. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. I loved all the landscaping especially the bamboo, very cool!!

Jessica A.

Yelp
Easily one of the nicest, most well thought out places I have ever stayed. The furnishings are extremely tasteful, the electronics and appliances are high end, the architecture is clean and modern and light filled. They have thought of everything, from the glass of wine when you arrive to the thick robes waiting for your trip to your private hot tub to the fireplaces - both indoor and outdoor - already perfectly set up with kindling, waiting to be lit. The garden planting's are lovely, and there are so many little seating areas. We were in the "Modern Ranch" - which had almost more outdoor entertaining space than two people could use (and a fabulous kitchen) a which made me think its the perfect place to rent if you want to hang out with all your friends in Manzanita, but don't want to share sleeping arrangements or a shower with them (all the entertaining space of a big house, none of the annoying other people in the morning!). Only one - 1! - tiny ding: for a kitchen this good, they still only had vacation-rental-curse serrated knives! Considering they plunked down for Wustoff, you'd think they'd have an actual chefs knife, but otherwise it all clad and Miele all the way - only the best. But really, that's it. Everything else is amazing. Everything!

SaTina P.

Yelp
If you are thinking of a destination wedding at the Oregon coast, this is the place to do it. I worked as the wedding coordinator for two very good friends that had their event at these cabins. The grounds are gorgeous and the perfect place to celebrate love. We held a rehearsal dinner for 70 guests, a post beach ceremony cocktail party for 95 guests, a sit down dinner for 95 guests and a reception with a DJ and dance floor on the two larger open spaces they have available. Each cabin is unique and very tastefully appointed, inviting a feeling of zen the moment you walk in the door. The amenities are generous and high end, as are the furnishings. I cannot even begin to tell you how great the staff is at this beautiful establishment! Kerry thought of everything and went out of her way on so many occasions to help out with the set-up and planning. She even made a few trips about town to grab items that were missed by the rental company. If we needed anything, Kerry made it happen. All of the guests staying in the cabins and at the condos felt very well taken care of and commented on how much they enjoyed their stay. Thank you, Coast Cabins, for your help and hospitality in making the Cunningham/Lynch wedding such a beautiful event. My husband and I look forward to many trips to Coast Cabins in our future. Xo- SaTina aka The Wedding Planner

Claire Z.

Yelp
We stayed in Windward, right on the beach. The house itself is stunning and the views of the water are just as beautiful. Manzanita is the cutest, way better than Cannon Beach in our opinion. We'll definitely be back!

Jessica K.

Yelp
What can I say, but WOW! We were completely blown away by our stay in 'loft 6'!! These guys have inn keeping down to a luxurious science! We packed up the car after work on Friday, and headed to the coast, with no reservations for lodging and no set destination. While browsing through Yelp, we saw this place had availability, so we booked online (with their 'last minute discount'). Not knowing what to expect, we arrived at the main office after closing time to find an envelope with our name on it taped to the door. Inside were keys, instructions, and a personalized letter... While it may not seem like much, it set the tone for a stay in what might possibly be the nicest rental experience we've ever had! We tend to be discerning renters, admittedly verging on high-maintenance, and we have traveled at home and abroad a fair amount so tend to have a critical eye. Every detail in this rental is tended to with the utmost care- from the adorable s'mores welcome basket, to the gorgeous interior, luxury towels and linens, heated floors throughout, and decor that was a perfect balance between modern urban chic and cozy costal comfort. Despite the indirect access, pricier-than-most rent, and strict cancellation policy, we HIGHLY recommend the stay- it's all completely worth it! Our only regret was not planning a longer stay! A sincere thank you to the owners for giving us such a special retreat and true escape from the hustle and bustle of the 'real world'.

Jennifer V.

Yelp
Absolutely love Coast Cabins. So much love and thought was put into this establishment. When we entered our cabin, soothing music was playing, and we were greeted with a beautiful fruit display with a Happy Birthday note. They even had a welcoming dog bed for our dog that was filled with a towel, poop bag dispenser, and blankets to cover the couch. Plus everything that was in the cabin was high end products from the Breville kitchen equipment, Crate Barrel kitchenware, and Restoration Hardware linens. You're getting what you paid for when you stay here.

Lisa P.

Yelp
This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend. Construction was unfortunately going on in the street and it would be loud all morning/day, it really didn't bug me or my boyfriend much but the owners were so apologetic about it. I also mentioned I LOVED the scent of the room we had and before we left one of the owners gave us a candle of that scent. It's little things like that that make a place worth staying & coming back. The room was also beautifully done & I love that it's dog friendly!! My dog has never been to the beach so we were happy we could bring him along.

Kathy B.

Yelp
Very nice with a bit of a Nordstrom upscale vibe. And while they're the Coast Cabins, maybe they should be called Long Walk to the Coast Cabins. The people were nice, the place was clean, but when I come to the coast, I was to be near the beach. I'll know better next time.

Garrett K.

Yelp
I actually did not stay at this hotel so can't comment on the accommodation but this review does reflect their customer service. I had a work a meeting in Tillamook that got moved from a morning meeting to an afternoon meeting which meant I needed to cancel my reservation at the Coast Cabins (this was during winter so it was not busy). I love Manzanita and love supporting small businesses so I found this place on yelp and quickly booked it. As I mentioned my plans changed and I needed to cancel my stay. I joked with the women while booking that I was happy to book direct so I didnt have to book through Expedia and she mentioned that they provided a more affordable price by booking direct. Once I needed to cancel, I called their local number to let them know that I read their cancellation policy but was seeing if there was anything they could do. $198 a night was the charge and wondered if they would split it with me. No call back was received to this message. I called again. Someone answered. She told me she would consider it. No return call ever. I called again a week later. No answer. If you are going to stay at this hotel, I would strongly advise to book through a channel that has a cancellation policy as this company is not flexible.

nisa c.

Yelp
I'm so very disappointed with the customer service at this local boutique hotel. I cancelled my reservation over three weeks prior to the intended stay and they charged me a 50.00 cancellation fee. I was unaware of this charge and I would not have cancelled if I knew about it. I asked repeatedly for a refund which they have not returned my emails. We have been staying here every few years for the past ten years when we need a break from our kids. We usually love it but obviously they don't care about repeat guests. We use to tell people to stay here but at this point I would recommend Stephanie Inn. They give a discount for repeat guests and don't charge you a fee for cancelling before the cancellation period! They also provide a wonderful breakfast and happy hour. STAY AT STEPHANIE INN ! They care about their guests!!!!

Victor O.

Yelp
Wow, from the minute we walked onto the property. We were greeted by the fire beginning to rip and offered a beverage of our choice. And that was before we even checked in. Every detail was covered and nothing overlooked. Unfortunately, this was a last minute single night stay for us. Future visits will afford more exploration of Manzanita and all that Coast Cabins has to offer. Thanks for making our quick visit enjoyable. Victor & Ryan (with Walter & Penny)

Tracy F.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. It was lovely! The grounds and buildings are nice. Our cabin was great except the cabinets were scratched/dinged up in the kitchenette. Unfortunately I spent the rest of my vacation inside that cabin, due to having a virulent case of the flu striking the morning after our arrival. It was a great place to get sick, except our cabin had two shower heads in the single shower, and the water heater clearly could not handle it. If I only used one I could get a ten minute, lukewarm shower in... But when you've got a bad fever, vomiting, sweating etc it takes a lot of showers to feel human again. Other than that it was great, they even had a dog bed and bowls for our two dogs in the cabin, a selection of snacks for us, and even a filled water filter pitcher in the fridge.

Snuggly G.

Yelp
There is no where on this earth I would rather be. Seriously, from 5 star hotels to hourly motels (that's right), even cruise ships and spas. There is nothing like CC .... a peaceful utopia that is everything Zen. One of the best things about CC is there are so many extras: from the tranquil water fountain right outside the door, to the soothing music that greets you on the Bose stereo inside, to the beautiful live orchid on the table, to the inviting smell of cedar in the cabin, to the sweet little Beta fish on the kitchen counter, to the upscale bathroom toiletries, to the most luscious down comforter I have ever had the pleasure of wrapping around my body. Everything about this place is lovely, unique and absolutely unforgettable.

Sara G.

Yelp
What could possibly make a rainy weekend in a tiny town something I'm dying to do again? Coast Cabins, that's what. These are beautiful cabins on lovely grounds run by a very hospitable couple, Gary and Pawel. These guys know their stuff - the cabins are finished beautifully, feel completely private, and I didn't want to leave. From the plush robes to the well-stocked kitchen to the hot tub, this was like a perfect home away from home. If, like me, you cringe at the thought of typical seashell and sand dollar themed beach cabins, you owe it to yourself to stay here at Coast Cabins. The fact that they are dog friendly only sends it over the top... that and the fact that Gary came over with his handy torch to help light our outdoor woodfire stove in the middle of a downpour. That's the kind of service that makes this place worth the price and worth a visit. Thoughtful, beautiful, comfortable, warm... made these two city-slickers wish we had another night in sleepy Manzanita.

Emilie S.

Yelp
There are a lot of wonderful places to stay in Manzanita. My personal preference is camping-- but I have been blessed enough to stay in various rentals, hotels, motels and friend's homes in the area. One of my favorite experiences was at Coast Cabins. Their attention to detail is exceptional. The grounds are lovely and the simple, Scandinavian design elements are beautiful. Comfy robes, lovely hot tub--- this is as nice as it gets in Manzanita. LOVELY. For the level of comfort and care you receive- their prices are very reasonable. The only thing that would make it better is if I actually lived there.

Felicia L.

Yelp
We have been twice now, once to the modern ranch, and once to the Laneda Loft. Both were excellent. The ranch is a little more luxurious, with it's hot tub, back yard, and STEAM shower (oh my gosh - so nice), but the Laneda loft was just a slick and comfy, and boosts the great location of only being a few blocks from the beach. Out other favorite thing? Out dog always gets to come along!

Kevin M.

Yelp
Stunning place with great decor and service. We stayed in the Ranch (1BR/1.5BA w/pullout sofa). It was very comfortable for three. Can't wait to go back!

Trish L.

Yelp
We FELL IN LOVE with Coast Cabins as soon ad we parked our car outside of the Modern Ranch. Everything about this space was beautiful, and well designed with the comfort of the guests in mind all the way through. Upon arrival we were greeted with glasses of wine and a thoughtful Happy Anniversary basket of fruit and treats. We felt right at home here and can honestly say it was probably the most relaxed we've been in awhile. The kitchen had every cooking gadget we needed. It was great to make our own breakfasts every morning before we headed out exploring and then unwinding at the end of the day with dinner cooked on the bbq. Star-gazing in the hot tub wasn't too shabby either. It's such a great little getaway that even if it rained the whole time of your stay you probably wouldn't be that dissapointed. We already plan to come back for our anniversary next year!

Yelp
Every detail was thoughtfully prepared for us before we arrived and ducked through the tiny bamboo forest through the private stone courtyard of our cabin. The hot tub was heated to the perfect degree, the dry sauna was prepared with towels and the little scoopy-bucket was filled with water, white spa robes artfully arranged with a tiny flower on each one, orchids in every room, organic chocolate bar and bowl of fruit in the well-appointed kitchen, packet of s'mores for roasting over the robust fire outside, we were offered coffee, tea, perrier or red or white wine while checking in, and the Bose stereo was playing Pink Martini when we waltzed in. Are you kidding us? This place is an oasis. I haven't even gotten to everything the innkeepers provided to make our stay outstanding, there is so much more. Just trust me, if you ever have the chance to stay here, do it.

Yelp
Amazing place, it was a surprise get away for my wife and she and I both loved it and will be returning in the future. They did a fantastic job of utilizing the space to make sure everything you could need was there but not in the way and everything was of very high quality. Since we have been back we have been recommending it to everyone, the value is fantastic and it is a really nice little town to get away to.

Yelp
So, I wasn't lucky enough to stay here but was able to take a peek inside-visiting some peeps before we headed out for dinner. If I wanted to spend a romantic weekend at the coast this would be my dream spot. I would highly recommend it if you are looking to get away with a special someone. Coast Cabins won't disappoint!

Yelp
The proprietors of this establishment do not miss a thing. From the A-Z you are going to be treated meticulous care. I especially love the S'mores around the fire pit at night. Such a lovely, peaceful place!

Yelp
Very relaxing and clean! It was an amazing experience. We stayed in the tower suite and it was so relaxing! They treated us so well and didn't even know it was our honeymoon! We will definitely return!

Yelp
Every detail was thought out and beautifully designed. Cozy, well designed cabins- modern with enough rusticity and wood to perfectly blend with the rural-like bamboo grove setting that provided complete privacy. Kerry had a fire going in the communal fire pit and she offered a glass of wine upon our arrival. She also recommended many nearby options for dining, food shopping and outdoor activities. Upon arriving at our cabin, to our delight, we discovered chocolate, fruit and Malin + Goetz personal care products in bathroom. Wonderful coffee was stocked in the cabin, both whole beans and ground, with both french press and drip machine options. Needless to say, the Manzanita stretch of the Oregon Coast is stunningly beautiful and for us, Coast Cabins was the perfect place to return to after a day of hiking and exploring.

Yelp
As if Manzanita weren't already a lovely little beach town for stopping over during your coastal trip, Coast Cabins is a beautiful, relaxing, cozy, well-appointed place to stay. So much care (and money) has gone into the cabins--Restoration Hardware robes, Smith & Hawken patio seating, lavender spray for the bedroom, coffee beans & a grinder, as examples--that you feel like you're staying in a 5-star hotel. Plus they think of things that you might not - flashlights & lanterns for navigating in the dark outdoors, beach towels, and supplies to make s'mores in your outdoor fireplace. We loved being able to cook our own meals indoors and out (there's a little grocery just down the street) and lounging in the loft-like bed area that features lots of light & air coming in the windows (which you can shut up tight if you like).

Yelp
Who knew that you could feel like you're miles away from civilization just a stones throw from highway 101. I won't start going on about the amenities; I wouldn't know where to start and how to end... It's a perfect retreat for those who want to be close to the beach but want a private retreat. There's a reason everyone else have given this 5 stars. There's isn't another place that combines this zen-like retreat a few block from the beach and smack dab in the middle of a quaint little town. Looking forward to our next visit.
