This place is the amazing. They came 2 times to fix our TV. The front desk is such an asset to the hotel. Friendly, good tips on where to eat, and helped us upgrade our room to one with a balcony - which was very worth the difference! Sitting and seeing the mountains in the morning is a real treat. I really enjoyed the common areas. Beautiful lodge style. The hot tub overlooking the mountains was fantasic to sit and read at. We'll be staying here again and I'm really looking forward to it! On our third stay we had breakfast on the patio. We enjoyed a view of the mountains and a delicious meal. Gym and the sauna are also amazing. I booked one more day just to get sauna one more time

We stayed one night at the Coast Hillcrest Hotel on our road trip from Vancouver to Banff, and it was the perfect choice. This hotel is in a beautiful, quiet location just outside Revelstoke - surrounded by mountains and forests. |Our family loved this stay. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and felt super relaxing after a long day of driving. The food at the restaurant was also delicious, which exceeded my expectations of a hotel dinner. The hot tubs were also very relaxing. |Overall, this place was amazing.

Sounds like you had an excellent stay! Here's a professional review highlighting those key points: Accommodation Review Our recent stay was highly satisfactory, largely due to the exceptionally spacious and immaculately cleaned rooms. The accommodations were not only aesthetically pleasing but also maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness, contributing significantly to a comfortable experience. Furthermore, the staff demonstrated exemplary levels of professionalism and helpfulness. Their attentive service greatly enhanced our visit, going above and beyond to assist with requests, even providing a forgotten essential like toothpaste. Such thoughtful gestures underscore a commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, the combination of superior room quality and outstanding staff service made for a truly positive and memorable experience.

We stayed here one night on our way to Rockies. The room was very clean, quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly, professional and helpful. We were glad to have chosen Coast Hillcrest to stay overnight. We will definitely stay here again if we come this way.||One point to keep in mind is that if you are heading toward Meadow in the Sky Parkway or Revelstoke from the hotel, the intersection of the Oak Drive and Highway One has no signal so you may be waiting there for a few minutes if the traffic on Highway One is busy both ways.

The hotel is very quiet. The rooms are OK except the first one we were given had been smoked in so we had to be moved. (No apology per se) - see comment on reception staff. Location is awful as it’s a $10-$15 taxi ride each way into own. The reception staff were typically ‘genZ’ and purely transactional(except the slightly more senior lady at check out, who was very nice). Restaurant food is very good, even excellent. But we had to eat in every night due to distance from the town. The restaurant staff in the main were great (but there was one quite stroppy waitress who let the others down). Great laundry service

We stayed in a 2-queen + 1 pullout room, which was nicely laid out. The bathroom was great, though the large step into the shower was a bit awkward. The room was very clean, the hotel itself was nice, and the amenities were excellent. It happened to be a crazy mosquito season, which made outdoor time tricky — not sure if that’s something the hotel could address. Overall, a good experience and a great place to stay when in Revelstoke.

Our room was clean, the bed comfy and it was very quiet which was so appreciated. The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 is the dated A/C system that needed a bit of experimentation but once we got it right it was perfect. The staff at the front desk were so amazing…kudos to them.

After booking somewhere else only to be told there were no rooms available upon our arrival, my boyfriend & I booked this place very last minute and were extremely pleased. The room was good/clean & the view with the hot tub was stunning. Shout out to Adam at the front desk for being so kind & helpful, and to Gaby in the restaurant for being an outstanding server - he genuinely made our dinner wonderful (the food was good too). We found this place on a whim & will definitely be back!

Yelp
I always like Coast chain of hotels for a mid range accommodation. It is not luxurious or opulent but it is cozy and comfortable. The room is clean, the air conditioner is working. Much needed in the height of summer temperature reaching the mid to high 30c. It still carries Bee Kind amenities and I love that brand! It is outside the downtown area of Revelstoke, so you will need to drive into town or take the shuttle for $2 per way. It is about 5 mins away. I like the hot tub. There are two! One outdoor with a view of the mountains and everyone looking at you. The other is in the lower level where the small fitness center is. There are also steam room and sauna and shower area and lounge area there. There are also complimentary beverages like coffee, tea (teavana) and fruit infused water in the morning. After that, only water is available. The lounge area is quite big with a pool table. You can be kept occupied even if you spend a whole day indoors. I'll stay here again if I ever visit Revelstoke again.

Yelp
The Hillcrest Hotel part of the Coast Western Hotel Chain. Best prices for a modern suite like stay. A little off the highway but not really. The paved road just circles around a Rock outcrop to give you a better view. Room clean, comfortable mattresses. Very clean modern bathroom. Nice nature hideaway from the busy highway. Be careful on highway exit as comes up fast in bad weather. Cedar view and mountain views. Robbin outside the window collecting nest accoutrements. Always cool with gentle breeze or a fresh rain shower. Staff very polite and helpful. Bar, restaurant, hot tubs, and sit around kind of areas. Nice, so maybe more stays planned.

Yelp
Even though Coast Hillcrest isn't in town, it's only a short 5 or less minutes drive away. Lots of free parking & a free shuttle to and from the Revelstoke Resort. The room was a lot nicer than we expected. However it was not as clean as I would have liked. I found the tv remote and a map under the heater. Some Cheerios were hanging out under the table... but the bathroom and bed were clean! The sink did not drain the quickest, and one of our double beds had a large divot in it. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious! We appreciated that breakfast started at 630am which allowed us to eat before our shuttle at 815am. They have free coffee and fruit infused water in the lobby. The jacuzzi and sauna were definitely a plus after two long days of skiing.

Yelp
Welcoming staff with helpful attitude! Plenty of parking and located conveniently by the highway. We arrived Revelstoke earlier than expected and not knowing the area we dropped by our hotel for some directions and recommendations. The staff was very friendly and helpful and was willing to check us in early (9:30am)! We kindly declined but that was a very kind and understanding gesture. Got some recommendations of what to do and off we went about for our day. We returned later at around 4:30pm to check in and our room was ready. This is an older building and it shows but clean room and well equipped. There are 2 hot tubs in the building and a lovely lobby as well as restaurant. Unfortunately did not use any of the facilities as we were over exhausted so can't comment on it. We had a restful stay with beautiful view. ** My eldest forgot her sonicare toothbrush in the hotel room, we returned a week later on our way back and the staff was kind enough to kept and return it to her, we did not call in advanced as we expected it to be gone but staff took their time and looked for it, better yet found it for her.

Yelp
Only good things to say about this hotel. Room was spacious (even more so than expected), bed was comfortable, view from the room was pristine. Even the fruit infused water in the lobby was amazing. Our stay was so comfortable that... my group overslept our breakfast plans! We decided to pop by the hotel's restaurant instead and had to go with the lunch menu (which starts at 11am)... but it had a "Late Riser" breakfast plate option - it was delicious! We also got the fish and chips - super good! Maybe it was since we were the first lunch orders, but we could tell the oil used for frying was fresh. Our sever, Anne, had a wonderfully refreshing personality and gave us great tips on what was going on in the Alberta region! Finally, amenities were available and in good condition and check out was a breeze. Highly recommend this hotel!

Yelp
Nice hotel in the mountains in the outside of the town. The drive to town is only 5-10 mins. Rooms are good and views are nice. In the summer there's not much going on in the town so we didn't mind staying a little further and enjoying the views.

Yelp
the staff is super friendly. the beds are pretty comfortable. overall this was a nice place but for the price I was expecting a little more.

Yelp
Probably the best hotel we stayed at during a 10 day Rockies road trip. Clean, comfortable and nicely decorated hotel, rooms and grounds. Nice view from the room. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and nicely decorated. Shower was great, with multiple heads, a shower wand and generous supply of quality bath products. We have literally zero complaints about this hotel. At $160 CAD, we felt it was a good value and would return.

Yelp
This hotel was great! I decided to take the long weekend over Christmas and do a ski vacation in Revelstoke. This hotel was in my price range (I used my AAA discount) and close to the resort. To start, it was very lodgey. It had a nice common area with a big fireplace and cozy chairs. The hot tub was just outside with a beautiful view of the mountains. There was another hot tub downstairs with a steam room. The road to the hotel was exactly a half mile long, which worked out perfectly for my runs. The food was decent - they served us Christmas night which was nice, because the town shut down. The heli-skiing operation is in the basement, which was super conveneient. Also, there's a shuttle that runs from the hotel to the resort if you don't feel like driving. The hotel is as close to the resort as the hotels in town, but it's much much more cozy. This hotel is very pet friendly. I left my dog (a friendly yellow lab) in my room while I skiied. They let the dogs in the common areas as long as they are well behaved, so he can come sit by the fire or join you on the deck at the hottub. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. They worked to get us an extra spot for heli-skiing, they pointed us to some excellent resturaunts in town, and were overall just nice people.

Yelp
Stayed here for one night. The hotel was very nice! The location is very quiet and pretty. The room was clean and in a very good condition, and the view was awesome. The hotel has hot tubs inside and out, s sauna, a small fitness room, free wifi, a lounge and a restaurant (which was quite good). The room was huge and had a make-up station, a big shower, two beds, a fridge, a safe, a desk, two chairs, a tv and air-conditioning. The soaps were 'Leaping Bunny'-marked which Means that they are not animal-tested (a huge plus!). The service was great, and the staff was very friendly! All in all it is a very nice hotel, and I would stay here Again - no doubt!

Yelp
We found this hotel quite by accident in late July 2018. We were enraptured by the rustic yet modern ambiance in a hide-away in the shadow of the Canadian Rockies. one might expect more primitive accommodations in a location as remote as this, but we found an up-scale resort hotel with fine dining and a beautiful and comfortable room suitable for a romantic getaway. The hustle of our road travel caused me to neglect a more timely review, but repeated recollections of our stay made me revisit Yelp to make a permanent record and extend our accolades to the staff and management.

Yelp
The service was wonderful. No seriously everyone down to the chamber maids were so lovely and kind. The bed was very comfortable and the view of the mountains from my window was fabulous. I did feel that the room I was lodged was on the small side. This is likely because a king sized bed was squished into it. Plus it was also a bit noisy as I could hear vents rumbling throughout the night. I ate at the restaurant for dinner and had room service for breakfast. On both accounts I can say that the offerings were typical standard hotel fare. However, the desserts were outstanding.

Yelp
I love love love this place! We got in super late, probably around 1 or 2 am. The man at the reception was super nice and upgraded us to the penthouse suite! The room was spacious and clean, which is always good. The next morning we had brunch in the hotel, it was absolutely delicious. The patio is really nice, we took a lot of pictures there and now we are recommending this place to all our friends!

Yelp
This place rocks. It's 2 mins from town. . . the place is clean, and everyone is super friendly with killer views of Mt. Revelstoke. My kid ( he's 5 ) and I had a blast. I'm already planning on going back.

Yelp
The staff at this hotel are absolutely amazing. The front desk are very courteous and inviting. The lobby and lounge has an atmosphere that almost seems like it only belongs in a magazine. The lounge has the most amazing people working. They are so friendly and easy to chat with. The food let me tell you... This food is absolutely unbelievable. The portions are huge the prices are fantastic. Today I had the chicken clubhouse. Holy that thing was unreal. I've never had a clubhouse that tasted so good. I honestly can't say enough about how great this lounge is. The scenery of the valley from the patio is wonderful. Today is a cloudy rainy day and I still love the view. If your not sure about this hotel and what it has to offer you just have to trust that this beautiful place will not disappoint in any way!

Yelp
The hotel is adequate for its price, with modest but not really astounding views from the lounge (our room view was of the parking lot), and no extraordinary amenities. However, we endured astoundingly poor service the dining room. It wasn't just slow (15 minutes wait for a waiter, 30 minutes wait for drinks, an hour wait for food). But the service staff wouldn't even acknowledge our presence. Choose the hotel, but know you'll have to drive back to town to ea

Yelp
Stayed here for two nights for work. It's a nice place. Staff are friendly. The room was clean and very spacious. Nice furnishings. Great view of the mountains. Lots of natural light. No extra charges for room service. Beds were comfy. I stayed here in the off season and the place was pretty quiet. They were upgrading some of the interior and exterior so the hallways were a bit fume-y. Was surprised to see a bag of used renovation garbage tossed against the building and spilling over. There's a little gopher on the grounds and he bark/chirps. Ah nature. I loved the desk in the room. They installed a power bar with 2 electrical outlets and two USB ports right into the desk.. Very handy for all my devices. Wifi was spotty at times. I had my dog with me. $15/night fee. Well worth it. They allow dogs to be off leash in the back of the property that backs into a small wooded area. Definitely a great place to stay in Revelstoke.

Yelp
Excellent Brie dish in the lounge! Great for sharing or as a meal on its own. We were upgraded to a family room that has lots of space and comfortable seating area. Unfortunately it's the time of year that house flies move in, and they were everywhere. Put us off trying the hot tub.

Susan A.

Yelp
An amazing place to stay . The staff are exceptional from the desk to the many employees that work there. The beds were very comfy and the food was very good. Kudos to Chelsie at the front desk for making my golf at Revelstoke so memorable!!!

Yelp
Staff are so friendly and helpful at this hotel. We've stayed here once and are planning another two trips to Revelstoke and staying at the same hotel. We had breakfast in the dinning room - with huge portions and great taste. Our baby had a meltdown during breakfast and the staff were super nice and calm about it:)

Christopher M.

Yelp
I stay at this hotel because of its restaurant. The food here is always excellent. Wonderful steak, Benedictine blue cheese, white cheddar risotto - it's a foodie's menu. The view is lovely, the service is gregarious, and the restaurant is a cut above. Stay here!

Alison W.

Yelp
I would never book at this hotel again. I was extremely dissatisfied with the service and I wish I hadn't believed the reviews below, since my experience was completely the opposite. Do not recommend

Yelp
We stayed here 4 nights while snowboarding in town. We didn't do the heli-ski so I can't comment on that. The hotel was perfect for us. It was easy to get to from the highway and easy to get to town. The room was nice, clean and spacious and fairly quiet even though we were by the elevator (they have second entry door to the room that I think blocks a lot of noise). We didn't use any of the hotel amenities except for the outdoor hot tub. It was kinda in a weird location right next to the lounge patio but it had a nice view of the mountains and you can watch the sunset. The beds were comfy except they only had thick fluffy pillows which I find great for lounging on but uncomfortable to sleep on. I also was able to find a deal on the AMA website so the hotel was reasonably priced.

Megan M.

Yelp
We stayed 4 nights at the Hillcrest for a ski trip. It's very convenient if you're doing heliskiing with Selkirk Tangiers as they're based out of the hotel. There's an outdoor hot tub which is a bit small but has a nice view. We got a suite which was great since we had lots of extra room for our ski gear. The location was quiet and relaxing, as opposed to some of the hotels in town which are close to the train tracks. There's also a restaurant in the hotel. We ate breakfast there one day and it was just OK.
