It's an easy track to follow but a bit challenging after heavy rain. The track was muddy and slippery. It's a rewarding walk if you persist as it has the most spectacular views.

The fire trails in the area are a moderate walk with heavy water damage and 4WD tracks, after rain it was very muddy and slippery. Three stars for the actual Coastal Walk track. The entry point is overgrown and the track has been vandalized. To get to the lookout at the beginning follow the firetrail and use the 4 metre walk in to get on the trail... Save yourself the hassle of bush bashing unless you are up for that. After the lookout heading south the track is still slow going in parts but the views are amazing. No bathrooms or water.

Great walk for families! My kids, 6 and 9, loved it. They loved the views and searching for the old bunkers. A swim at Catherine Hill Bay was a great way to refresh before heading back. If you're up for it, visit the Snowcone & coffee guy at the Catherine Hill Bay surfclub, he is awesome and the snowcones are next level!!

Quite walk with great views! It is a relatively short walk to the beach (~3km return).

Beautiful scenic walk, not different, you just have to be mindful which way you're going as it's not signposted and rocky.

I am sure this would make for a pleasent morning walk or even a run. Worth a visit for s short scenic walk

It's a great track on paper but in reality the track is eroded in many places, signs are vandalised. All in all the track is overdue as an environmental project to preserve and or improve on what was build years ago.

Don't get me wrong, it's a gorgeous place. But on a hot summer day you won't survive 10 steps going down there. We may not be the fittest people but we walk and hike a fair bit. Mine it's just a warning. Would love to go back on a colder day.
