Google
My new favorite seafood place!!! Nice view, nice food, reasonable price. Fresh daily fish (we got red drums)!! Freshness is paramount for seafood!!!! The sauces we had were very delicious (we had Sicilian and Blackpool) and they elevated the freshness of the fish. The risotto and veggies were so filling too. The only disappointment I had was that there was no draft beer. But the bottle Corona Premier I had was not bad either. Our server was lovely and kept making sure we were feeling comfortable. A very relaxing and pleasant dining experience with wonderful food. Definitely would pay another visit 💕 P.S. kittens around, cuteness overload 🐱🐾

Absolutely loved my experience at Coasters in Aransas Pass! 🌟 From the moment we arrived, everything felt relaxed and welcoming. The atmosphere is unmatched—sipping mimosas with a waterfront view was the perfect start to the day. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home without being overbearing. Now let’s talk about the food—delicious! I had the breakfast bowl with eggs and grits, and every bite was seasoned perfectly and fresh. You can tell they put love into the kitchen. Add in a little sparkling wine, and I was sold. This place is a hidden gem and absolutely worth the visit if you’re in the area. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
Coasters has been a great addition to the restaurant choices in Aransas Pass. Located in Conn Brown Harbor, it is an open air facility with the sea breeze to keep you cool. They can seat about 50 in the main building and about half as many in covered pavilions with Picnic tables just outside it. They also have a separate large room for parties and ceremonies. Coasters is owned and operated by a talented and hard working couple from Ohio. They have been here several years and have qualified as naturalized Bay Rats. Their menu has something for everyone. They have a hopping bar. The food is good. Currently we are here on a Saturday evening in July and there is a two man band playing. This is worth visiting when you are in town for dinner. I also hear they have a wonderful Sunday brunch

Larissa

Google
They serve brunch until 3 pm. The place is beautiful and the service was okay, but I expected more from the food. The waffle tacos were good, but the shrimp and grits were not good. The seasoning on the shrimp and grits were overpowering. I also ordered a Coke and it tasted like water was mixed with it. I told them that the Coke didn't taste good and I didn't want it. Yet, they still charged for the watery coke.

Google
Wolf catered a wedding that we attended, and invited us to his restaurant the next day for brunch. We took the boat there and had an amazing brunch with blackened shrimp a selection of sauces and the blackened redfish BLT. Food was great. Sam, our server was super friendly, and the mixed drinks were on point. Would recommend this for any boaters or people arriving to Port Aransas, make a quick detour and have lunch here!

Google
Highly rated in Aransas Pass, so we decided to give it a try. It was a 45 minute wait for lunch. Not very many tables. Not much to look at but the boats in a small marina. The venue was set for a Saturday/Sunday brunch. I decided on the blackened fish BLT, which was a delicious red fish worth the wait, best I've ever had. Happy hour margaritas were great for $5 each. My wife and daughter had the avocado toast which they liked, just needed a little more seasoning. Son had the chorizo hash, which he liked as well.

Google
Utterly Delightful! Don’t tell anyone about this place. I enjoyed easy open aire seating with great zephyr wind blowing in. Fish of the day in Mango habenero was outstanding. Now let me tell you about the most amazing bayou crawfish cake was probably the best i have ever had!

Google
An edit from a more recent visit: The Pork Belly Hash (added pic) was weekend special that is not on the menu and The Shrimp & Grits (also pictured added) were both excellent. This place has the best weekend brunch around. I go every weekend I can. Great restaurant on water by Conn Brown Harbor. I highly suggest Sat & Sun Brunch. The New Orleans Benedict is excellent, a little pricey but well worth it. I've had the Steak & Hash, it was good but probably the least favorite of the dishes I've had. Drinks are good and reasonably priced. Service is spot on, the kitchen cares and it shows in the food preparation.

Yelp
Wow! This place is definitely on our list of Best Waterfront Dining now! We split the chef salad, very good! And blackened redfish on risotto. Fantastic! The chocolate crème brute was perfect for a finish!

Yelp
Love this little restaurant!! The staff, the owners and the food are always amazing. Love the ambiance and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We've going there for years and will continue

Yelp
So good! I got the Build Your Own Po Boy (fried catch of the day) and my husband got the Seared Tuna. We really enjoyed the lunch after a full morning of fishing. Great service and clean!

Yelp
Picked up dinner tonight from Coasters. Dang, what a treat. Both of our plates were huge AND delicious. Super nice young lady answered the phone when we placed our order. I'm excited to try dining in!

Yelp
We stopped in for brunch and it was delicious! Hubby had the shrimp & cheese grits and I had the French toast - both were delicious. My Bloody Mary was perfectly spiced. It was a lovely view with great food- best brunch in town.
google avatar

Yelp
So yummy! Hidden gem for sure, but a great option if you want to avoid going to the island. The prickly sausage was very good, not spicy but the salad was chefs kiss. We also sampled the waffle tacos for the table. One taco will fill one person, their huge

Yelp
Delicious food right on the bay! Sunny cool day was perfect for relaxing near the water.

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance! Attentive service! Delicious flavor! Love this place. We recently celebrated my son's new job here. We ate brunch-they had Hashes I had the delicate delightful Crab Benedict. From the first bite to the last - 4 Star Standout! Light tasty seasoned Hollidaise on the mound of crab! Yum. The Hashes had potato, onion, pepper, sausage cheesy delicious filling mounds. Get here! Worth it !

Yelp
Usually a great place to bring out of town visitors for brunch, but today was terrible. Slow, unmotivated staff, which meant slow table turns, really slow kitchen. Overall it seemed like they were uninterested in any customer experience. The food was good except for the Avocado Benedict special my wife ordered - it was terrible. They need to invest in some shade and service for people waiting. It took 2 hours & 15 mins start to finish, 55 mins wait for a table, over an hour for food, we ate in 10 minutes. The kids picnic table they seated us at was pitiful. Our waitress was trying to be responsive, but she evidently wasn't able to motivate the rest of the staff. We will avoid brunch going forward, but frankly, this was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. Be prepared if you decide to try it.

Yelp
Great brunch when we stopped on a Sunday. Right by the water. Espresso martini and bloody mary's were awesome.
google avatar

Nicole D.

Yelp
The food was delicious and so were the drinks. The waffle tacos with strawberry cheesecake sweet cream....amazing!

Deb W.

Yelp
My shrimp boil was excellent! Perfectly seasoned. My husband's "Poor Boy" was dry. Service was excellent!

Hunter Y.

Yelp
Went on Saturday brunch and got chicken and waffles, wife got sweet waffles. SO GOOD! This is our second time here, getting the same order as last time, and it did not disappoint. Great spot outside to eat and relax! Will keep coming back!

Stacey R.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Waterside seating with a glorious cool breeze and an excellent waitress willing to answer all of our questions and make solid suggestions. Highly recommended!

Christina R.

Yelp
Service was amazing. Food was good. Brussels too crunchy. Dis was on point! Like the view.
google avatar

Lydia D.

Yelp
The food was delicious!! They make an excellent mushroom cheesy risotto with a blackened fish of the day, my husband had a cob salad with a nice size blackened shrimp. Anchor balls are most try for appetizers and the MARGARITAS very good as well. The ambience by the water is relaxing and nice view if catch a sunset. Our server took a little while to get to us but once she did everything went smoothly. Will definitely return!!

Jeff A.

Yelp
Saturday night dinner out and this place was a day care with kids screaming. Margaritas suck and greasy appetizers. Prices sky high for entrees. Limited menu and we were the only customers in the joint at 6pm. The waitress discussed the issue with management in the kitchen and the manager shook his head in discussed as he looked my wife in the eye across the restaurant. Hmmmmm. NOPE!!!!! Best tip, never dine at a place with zero cars in their parking lot on a Saturday night!!!

David P.

Yelp
It's always a blast to come to coasters. The food is consistent, which makes everyone happy. If you need some spice in your life, they have some fun food challenges. But let's talk about the Staff. The staff is off the hook great courteous, nice just amazing all the way around.

Yelp
One star for dessert - not sure about actual food. So this restaurant was right around the corner and we were craving creme brûlée. I called ahead and went to pick it up. While I was at the bar, the bartender was very nice. They were busy so it took a while for the waitress to ring me up, but I was cool with it. I got home and we were so excited. I opened the container and it had marshmallows and syrup! We were shocked. Right away my friend was like "I'm not going to eat that!" I was trying to be open-minded and started eating it. It was like melted custard. But it was cold? So I don't know what was happening. I ended up throwing my dessert away too. My receipt said two creme brûlées so I don't know if they make it different- or it was another dessert entirely. Either way it wasn't good.

Yelp
It was Amazing! The food was good the place was amazing and the waiter was nice and the view was pretty!

Yelp
The shrimp and grits were bursting with flavor. Generous portion. My husband got the fisherman's platter. It was a platter of fried fish, shrimp, and fries. Step outside the box, people. The scallops looked great, too. The chef did an outstanding job of combining flavors. The bloody Mary was probably the worst I've ever had. It looked great, but don't be fooled. The service was slow but ok. Don't go if you are looking for fast food and fast service.

Yelp
We were looking for a nice but casual place to eat and have drinks on the water. A friend recommended Coasters and it was perfect. Service was great. Food and drinks were tasty. Prices were very reasonable as well.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was great and fresh. Perfect spot on the water. Waitress was attentive and did amazing. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Nice place. Friendly staff. The service was slow due to staff members in training. The shrimp and mussels were cooked good. I recommend the restaurant but not close to closing, you might get lost in the shuffle as staff member are cleaning to close. We did choose to dime at this facility during spring break which might explained the slow service. I look forward to dining during non tourist season.

Becky G.

Yelp
Great service and food. Also the vibe is friendly and coastal. We had shrimp and fish and a great ceaser salad. We will be back!

Cindi N.

Yelp
Cute place on the water - really wanted to love it. Our servers were great - we were seated at "the window" seat so we were able to see all the orders come by. Everything looked delicious. My Eggs Benny also looked delish and although flavors were all good, the eggs were overcooked - tasted and looked like boiled eggs. Yuck. My husband liked his cactus hash and the breakfast potatoes were good.

Debra D.

Yelp
Loved this place! We had brunch and the food was amazing. We had six people in our group and started off with a carafe of mimosa - enough for all of us and the price was reasonable. I had the steak hash and it did not disappoint. Also tried the cheese grits and they were yummy too. A few in our party had different versions of the egg Benedict - everyone loved them. The server (Maddison) was super helpful. Right on the water - overal a delightful experience

Dan T.

Yelp
Unbelievable find!!! A locals fine dining seafood restaurant on the water!!! The chefs really know their stuff. Seriously trained I assume.

Shannon A.

Yelp
The fried shrimp and fish were excellent! Service was good even though the one waitress was overloaded. The ambience was outstanding with views over the water, marina, and boat launching from the giant forklift next door.

Yelp
As we were returning from a visit to the Wildlife Refuge, we stopped for a meal before crossing over on the ferry to Port A. This place was a surprise. It's on the water. The main eating area is open but they can bring down "garage type doors" if needed. It appeared clean and was nicely decorated for the holidays. I ordered the shrimp Po'Boy with fries and water. Partner had fried oyster platter and beer. Both were delicious. Service was good. We will return. Parking is okay. No distinct marking place for handicapped that we found.

Bob N.

Yelp
A great place to eat, Food is excellent, atmosphere is excellent and service is excellent and all for a fair price Didnt know there was such a good restaurant in Aransas Pass. We will definitely go back again
google avatar

Ryan R.

Yelp
Awesome food and service. Food proportions are very large and very tasty. Server was always coming around to refill drinks before I could finish mine. Good view, nice weather when I was there too.
google avatar

Linda M.

Yelp
This was my first time at coasters since it changed from RFW a couple years ago. The atmosphere has not changed much besides so decor but the food has SIGNIFICANTLY improved. I was in a group and the service was incredible. We tried the wimpy burger which was delicious highly recommend for anyone that loves spice; they have a good selection for the small bar and the beer is ice cold. The seating right on the water is perfect for lunch and dinner.

Yelp
On our way back home from vacationing on Padre Island, we decided to pamper ourselves at Candlewood Suites Aransas Pass. The first thing we asked Joshua, the desk clerk, ... "Where can we get some good seafood? It just doesn't make sense to vacation on the Gulf coast and not eat seafood!" The first place he mentioned was "Coaster's", so we headed out. The Fish Platter and Fish of the Day were awsome! We were sooo full!! After my wife's crazy Bloody Mary and my pineapple tequila shots and beer, we were happy vacationers! Our server, Mackenzie R, was very attentive without being over-bearing (you know th' type). She laughed at my dumb jokes, and served us with a smile, anyway. The food came fast and the drinks were even faster. We only stayed in Aransas Pass two nights, but I'm gald we found Coaster's.

Rodger N.

Yelp
My wife and I tried Coasters for the first time and really enjoyed our dinner. We split a Shepards salad, which consisted of mixed greens, blueberries, pecans, bacon bits, and feta cheese, dressing on the side. It was delicious! Our main entrée was blackened Black Drum with a wonderful beure blanc sauce, mushroom risotto, and sautéed vegetables. The dinner was great, the patio dining by the harbor was delightful. The service was excellent. All in all, it's a 5 star experience.
google avatar

Michael R.

Yelp
Wonderful, laid back, and friendly restaurant with a great vibe and excellent food! Our server, McKenzie was outstanding, super nice, and very attentive. I had the most amazing coastal salad (with steak added). Lots of Keto-friendly options compared to other places we've dined at. The dining area is inside but open and airy (roller doors partially opened); the sea breeze greets you softly at your table. There's also a patio area outside where you can chill out and have a drink, a smoke, and watch the gulls yammer away. We'll definitely swing back here before we leave! The wife's wanting the eggs Benedict served on Saturday and Sunday only (come on, man! :--) XOXO

Yelp
We were really pleased to find the food here to be outstanding. We made two different trips on our stay and both times the food was outstanding. On the first trip we ordered an appetizer of the fried buffalo chicken balls which I did not expect to be much. They turned out to be surprisingly delicious. My friend had the fried fish and shrimp platter. He said they were the best fried shrimp he's ever had. I ordered the fish if they say which came blackened in a delicious sauce with risotto and vegetables. It was outstanding. Our second visit we had the crawfish cake appetizer which was delicious. I had the Captains pasta with the beurre blanc sauce and shrimp and steak, and a side salad. My friend had the filet with a side of 4 fried shrimp and a side salad. It was all amazing. We both grew up in the restaurant business, and we asked to meet the chef. I hope this restaurant keeps up this level of food and service; It's rare to find!
google avatar

Joe P.

Yelp
The waitress was apparently new but tried her best to answer questions. The drinks were unimpressive. I had the dinner special which was steak tips gorgonzola. The meat was full of gristle. I hope the staff is trained on the Heimlich maneuver, There were 4 of us dining and each with a different meal. No one was impressed. We had eaten there once before for their "brunch" and it was good but not really a "brunch". We won't be back.
google avatar

L. G.

Yelp
First, the rating I gave here does NOT represent the Food as that was 5 star all the way. Some of the best seafood I've ate in my life and that's saying a lot. The beverage selection, Independant and Craft Beer List, and drink Specials were excelent as well. What I didn't much enjoy was the fact it's an open air dinning room on the water in the summer. Throughout the entire meal it felt like we were sitting in a blast furnace and I don't know about others, but I'm not one to enjoy sweating while I'm eating. The up side - the wind was enough to dry one out eventually. I understand this is a costal property and many folks do appreciate the atmosphere when visiting the coast, however it would have literally made a 2 star difference if there had been seating in Air Conditioned Comfort. Service was a bit slow and not one staff member checked back after our food was delivered to the table until we were finished eating. Will we return? Yes, just not on a warm summer day when the garage doors are open in the dinning room. The Meal was exquistely prepared, properly presented, and pleasantly priced. Despite the wind, it's a nice view behind the breakwater with dock right off the front of the dinning space.
google avatar

Christopher A.

Yelp
On the bay outdoor only seating unless you're sitting at the bar. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming and breezy. About $100 for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) for a good amount of food. I would highly recommend the Anchor bombs, (fluffy, crunchy, cooked to perfection and not too spicy ) service was exceptional, but seemed as they had one server on 6 tables, to really get the attention of the server was a bit hard.
google avatar

Shannon C.

Yelp
Great location on the water where you can pull right up on your boat (or car) and get good food and cocktails. Good selection on menu, a little pricey but everything is on the water. A couple of things could make it better, I ordered a martini and they said they could do it. What I got was not a martini. I didn't drink it but they left it on the bill, I'd still come back. Also the Captains Pasta plate could have been much better if it wasn't as spicy. We love spice but at a certain point that's all you taste. What they got RIGHT, Chelsea! She's is an amazing server and was so nice and welcoming.

Lula P.

Yelp
Good food and service. We enjoyed a weekend brunch! Very peaceful and close to the water.
google avatar

Tricia S.

Yelp
Wish we could give this 10 stars!! Sorry food was so good we forgot to take before pictures. Food was plated gorgeous. Fresh veggies, killer shrimp and fish of day. Highly recommend the blackened option, my goodness. Anaya treated us like family and her recommendations were spot on delicious. Don't miss this place. On the water and you also get to see the shipyard at work which was super cool. Thanks Coaster!!!

Mike K.

Yelp
heat index was 103 but with the breeze off the water it was actually cool. They know how to cook seafood, steaks and friend shrimp and fish plate. The food is fresh the ambience is great and the value is best around the beach cities.

Cheri D.

Yelp
What a tucked-away gem! Awesome food, great drinks & an incredible atmosphere. We really enjoyed the band - Bottles & Bandits. Can't wait to go back & enjoy the outdoors amenities.
google avatar

Allison C.

Yelp
Such a great hidden gem. The food was amazing and the staff was super friendly and attentive. They have tons of drink specials, with a great patio to dine on. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Love Great Customer Service P.

Yelp
Great service and atmosphere!! Some of the best sweet tea I have had in ages!!! It was our first time there, but we are planning on going back when we are in AP again.

Yelp
I looked this place up when I was at the coast. I found it very disappointing. I was wanting fresh sea foo & there was only about 3 choices on the menu. The fish batter was a tad salty. There was a nice flow of people tho.
