The store has a great selection of pieces... the high end pieces prices reflected their nature and, though expensive, were worth it. The artists time investment was evident. I wasn't able to purchase at the time and am hoping to order from them.
The only negative thing I had to say was there was a man there, I'm assuming the shop owner?, who followed us around the entire time. It was nice that he was being attentive but it was a bit too much. I'm particularly sensitive here and just wanted more space to browse and see the work. I recommend giving their customers more space to enjoy the work and feel less pressured/hovered over.
I dunno, maybe there are people that love that much attention. I was more interested in looking carefully at the work and evaluating a piece or two to add to my collection. Having someone hoving over you really kills that vibe.
Their selection of ceramics was extensive. I felt like anyone could have found something that would have worked in their home regardless of their personal style choices. Some were loud and colorful while others were a monochrome play of matte vs. gloss. So nicely done.
