Great service from Shannon and the manager Jessica was so friendly!!! Food was okay- but I think it’s what I ordered for my entree which was the steak frites special everything else was great! Hoping to go back and try something simple like the burger next time. Would recommend this place.

We had a great meal and great service last Saturday at Cobblestones. Cobblestones is always a cool place, and a great place to meet with friends. Last Saturday, we were a party of six people, the appetizers were awesome, and the meals were great. And then we all split desserts.

Came here for the first time on Valentine’s Day and I can say it did not disappoint! The food was amazing and our server lil Was truly amazing! 100/10!

Hadn't stopped by in a bit and decided to check it out before a hockey game. We had Shannon as our server, and she was absolutely fantastic. We did a bunch of appetizers and every one was delicious. Will definitely be stopping by again shortly.

Lill P. was a wonderful server and bartender in the Tavern. A very quiet night, but I have no doubt she would be as personable if it were a very busy evening. Very accommodating and friendly. We have not been to zones in many many years. My impression had been that it was very very expensive.; I realize they have options for all Considering going for a brunch sometime and possibly Easter or Mother’s Day due to Lill’s descriptions of menu!

A thousand stars. Every aspect of our dinner was perfection. From the atmosphere, to the very attentive and excellent server Mariah. We had a party of 8 and never once broke conversation to wonder what was going on. This restaurant served perfectly cooked food that tasted amazing. All meals were just right from taste to texture to quality. I've been to a lot of places and this experience has topped them all by far. Will come again and will recommend to everyone. Thank you for a wonderful night and thank you for doing what you do. So sorry to hear Mariah is moving on she is a talented woman. God bless you on your journey forward! Be well

Always a great time and food is good. Our waitress Alyssa is AMAZING and gives us the best experience. She is the reason we keep coming back!! Would definitely recommend if you are in the Lowell area.

Went in for brunch and the food was delicious! Alyssa was our bartender and she was amazing! She was very attentive, friendly and took very good care of us ! She makes an amazing espresso martini! Highly recommend!!

We have had two family get-togethers at Cobblestones in the last month, one for dinner and one for brunch. In both cases the food was excellent and in both cases our server was Lill (sp?), who was super helpful and charming. She gave us insights into the dishes with a flare of humor. My favorite dish was the chicken and waffles, check them out!

I came here with my family for the first time. i had the hot honey chicken sandwich with fries and homemade coleslaw. I wanted to try their fish and chips but they ran out of fish. The service was really good our waiter was attentive and our food was brought out in a reasonable time. I would come back

I've been here a few times- finally taking the time to write a review. I was spending time in Lowell at Tsongas to watch the new Boston PWHL women's hockey team this season (highly recommend) and I was looking for some pre-game food. Cobblestones is just down the street. I've had brunch and dinner- both fantastic. Love the pretzel. I've sat at the bar each time. Very busy but friendly service and great food. Fun place to meet other fans- friendly crowd. Love that their menu encourages diners to realize that dining has changed and that it might require a bit more patience these days- and that service issues can be handled on site or with the manager via email - give them an opportunity to correct before leaving a negative review. I loved the honesty when I saw that on the menu.

I have had a great many Reuben sandwiches in my time, and this is one of the best. Good French onion soup as well. I love the environment in the dining room, and the staff is very friendly.

Best burger I've ever had, beats gourmet burger places like Capital Burger in Boston & Five Napkin Burger in NYC. Double patties of succulent meat grilled to perfection on a brioche bun, with the house sauce was delicious. The short rib was tender and had a sultry dark sauce. The Spyglass IPA was maybe the best IPA I've ever had & I drink them all the time... it had a complex & deep flavor. The atmosphere is classy and the service was great... seems more like an upscale restaurant in NYC than anything you normally find in MA

Always nice to enjoy a beverage and app after a long day day; thankful for cobblestones tasty drink selection, welcoming atmosphere and of course, the company of one of my favorite bartenders, Alyssa! can't wait to see the summer menu selections, keep up the good work cobblestones!

We went for Mother's Day' last year and going Again this year It's fantastic service and delicious food

Wow! Absolutely Disappointing.... NEVER DO BRUNCH....it's day old food with fresh eggs on the side. The hash was a greasy mess of old food from Saturday blended and covered in grease. The sausage was day old with the same overnight grease all over it. There were no patrons and now I can see why. Just an overall greasy disgusting experience. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY at an establishment that doesn't care what it send out of its kitchen.

First time today and what a great experience, place was clean service was excellent. One waitress was serving multiple tables and was doing an excellent job. burger and Buffalo tenders were excellent.

The food was great, the bartender Alyssa was ON POINT WITH EVERYTHING. We had clam chowder, buffalo tenders, steak tips with truffle fries, a couple Sangrias, a drink on the house, and a shot of casa amigos. She did not disappoint and we will be back on Tuesday for some oysters. Alyssa thank you for making this dining experience worth it!!!

The food, drinks and service were excellent. The restaurant itself is beautiful. We ate in the tavern.

Vegan menu?? service?? I want to say this place was great but we had 2 issues that dragged our entire experience down. 1. the service was transparently all about rushing us through our meal to try to upsell us on fries and more fries, more drinks and get our appetizer plates off the table (even thougth we had not finished eating our appetizers) and get our dinner orders in so we would clear out for the next party... felt very rushed and pushed to add fries or drinks so the staff would make more month 2 the alleged vegan menu. there is NOTHING on this menu that is VEGAN. Vegan meand no dairy, no animal milks, no meat or poulty, no eggs, no fish. vegan foods include all vegetables, grains, plant oils, beans, legumes, nuts there are nut based cheeses, grain and legume based cheeses and sauces and binders that are NOT eggs or dairy0 start with a simple vegan eff 2 items on the menu marked vagan a foccaia with maple butter- uuuuum give us oil that is plant based and it is vegan. give us cow's milk butter and you call that vegetarian. 3. oops one more thing .We go t2 orders of fries onour table one was under cooked one was over= ??

This establishment is absolutely amazing. The decor and the quaint and warmness is amazing. The food is excellent and so is the service. We had Lill as our waitress tonight and she was a pleasure. She was prompt, making sure we were very happy and we loved her. This is definitely made my visit to lol

Abysmal service, meh food. We arrived around 1:45 on Sunday afternoon. When the hostess acknowledged us, she said the restaurant was fully booked and suggested that we sit in the Tavern. There were no seats, but after a few minutes a party left, and a server cleared the dishes off of the table and said she'd be right back to wipe it down. Another patron brought us a menu when she want to grab one for herself. After about 10 minutes a person I assume was the manager (not dressed in black) asked if anyone was helping us, and when we said no, took our orders (and asked the server clearing the next table to wipe ours off). We waited probably another 10 minutes before the bartender stopped by to say they were out of the ingredients to make a Phony Negroni, and took a replacement order. We waited a good 10 minutes after that for our drinks. We finally got our food at 2:35, and it was lukewarm. My partner's steak was undercooked for medium. The hash was super weird - like deli sliced corned beef instead of cubed, and not many potatoes - but tasty enough. We finished our food and had to hunt down staff to pay our bill so we could get to our event. There seemed to be 3-4 servers wandering in and out, but often there would be nobody in the Tavern area for an extended period of time. Also, when I walked by the dining room on my way to the restroom, it was mostly empty. I really can't fathom why service was so ridiculously slow with so many apparent staff. We've been before and had good experiences, but we won't be back. Pity, as the location is super convenient for events at the Tsongas Center.

Food buffet was good variety and good taste, did not care much for the wraps, slide burgers but Mac & ch, shrimps, arugula salad , 2 option chix , rice were good. Service was ok, understand it was busy had to get waitress attention twice for drink refill and check. Place is nice , has a bar, nicer than casual, not fine. 2nd - 3rd floor nice to see, appears to be celebrity once upon a time dine and hang out. Overall good.

This review is only about service, not food. When we got here, there was no host inside or outside (which is fine, places are busy) -- I waited, walked around the lobby and indoor space so I went back outside. A server came out and asked me if I wanted to sit on the patio and asked me to pick a table. I did and he told me he'd be right back with menus, etc. After about 5 minute a hostess came out and told us the tables weren't come, first serve, and that there was actually a waitlist because they only had 1 server working -- that's fine, but not what we were told -- we definitely didn't just sit down without being asked to. I asked her if there was a wait inside and she said no, so we went inside and waited to be seated (we didn't know if it was first come, first serve). While I was waiting to be seated I looked around at both Cobblestones and the Tavern (I think it's Moonstones) and didn't see any servers on the floor, so got the feeling we might have to wait a while for our food. I asked the hostess (who had arrived by then without asking us if we needed anything/needed to be seated) if there was only one server working and she said no, there was one for inside, one for outside, and one for the tavern. Her attitude during this interaction compounded with the earlier interaction where we were made to feel bad for their poor internal communication made me feel unwelcome and we left for another brunch place. Ended up at Fuse -- it was busier but the service was great, and the food was really good too -- I recommend that as an alternative!

Went there after a long day in hockey rinks.... Went into the Tavern area instead of dining. Everyone was attentive, kind, & helpful! The food was fantastic, we had the French onion soup, the Reuben, truffle fries, beignets for dessert, espresso martini & Blueberry lemon drop martini! It was all so good! Highly recommend & just love the tavern/pub vibe. We are from Northern Virginia so we truly appreciate the hospitality & atmosphere!

Food was good and the beer was too and service ( Alyssa) was great as always !! Oysters were good , some weeks good and some weeks they are great but still a must try on a Tuesday for Buck a shuck night !!

Dined here with my family recently after a concert. Dinner for 4, which included 1 appetizer and 1 alcoholic drink per person was $200 ! including tax and tip. Food was mediocre at best and service was a bit slow for a mostly empty dining room (9p on a Weds). Glad they were open but I don't see the value. Topping the night off was a mouse spotted running across the dining room floor! We reported this to the Manager and were told some story about a recent demolition next door that caused a mouse problem at Cobblestones. The Manager told us they are addressing it. We revived no compensation or discount offer for the unfortunate mouse sighting. I think I would only come back here for drinks at the bar.

I ordered chicken Marsala and what I got looked good but it was SWEET and had a chocolate sauce. Imagine chicken Marsala without any chicken Marsala flavor and with a sweet chocolate sauce on your noodles and chicken... if you like sweet pasta this is for you but I was totally thrown off by this.... My husband got a burger and said it was normal.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years! This is kind of a staple restaurant in Lowell. It's a little bit pricier than the average restaurant in town, but worth the ambiance and quality. In the past, I enjoyed some romantic dinners and nice casual bites at the bar. I came here two days after they reopened after the pandemic shut everything down. They have a solid operation! A tent in the parking lot, with tables along the side. The menu is changed, I have included a photo. The food was just as good as always, with some new and creative items on the menu. My boyfriend was very glad to find that the fish is fresh. As always, the bathrooms were clean.

Maybe it's a good bar scene, but don't waste your time trying to get a good, reasonably priced and expeditiously served meal in the restaurant section. Waited an hour and quarter for mediocre chowder and burgers on a day that there were few others seated. It should have been a clue! One of this octogenarian's worst-ever dining experiences.

Disgusting bathrooms! I thought this place was supposed to be nice.... uggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is by far the worst restaurant I've ever eaten at. Ice cold parts of food. Lousy menu. Zero handicap accessibility. Poor timing if food delivery. Even giving a little leeway for covid, it just can't get any worse. Years ago it had decent food. Downhill ever since. No adequate parking. Skip it as there are so many other good places to go.

We ate here while at a conference and it was delicious. Blackened Jumbo Shrimp was amazing.

The food is phenomenal At Cobblestones. The service is spectacular. The Ambience is wonderful. We've had family functions and never been disappointed. It isn't very affordable by most American families today in this economy really what is. Maybe with a change in Office for 2024 we can begin to enjoy the finer things again without the government burdening us all financially.

I can't figure this place out. The decor and ambiance say "upscale," the food menu says "comfort food," and the liquor menu combined with the food menu says "gastropub." The music in the dining room was equally eclectic, alternating from blues to Pure Prairie League to Sinatra to 70s R&B, but little, if anything current. Nothing about our meals were bad, but some parts of it felt like they should have been better, as in I was expecting a bit more. So first, the things I liked: - The beer and cocktail list. I was very happy with my beer selection, A Left Hand Hard Wired Nitro Coffee Porter. The cocktails were also interesting. - The service. - The hummus part of the mezze platter - it was really good. The whitefish is mildly smoky, and the tapenade is quite salty (I'm not saying these are bad, I'm just describing them; the hummus was my clear favorite). Personally I'd rather have pita bread than toasted pita - it just kept crumbling as I broke off pieces to scoop. - The cole slaw that came with our entrees. I love a cole slaw which contains horseradish, and I'm glad I order this as a substitute for the fries. - The after-dinner coffees. They really hit the spot. The dessert menu did looked interesting, but we opted for the coffees. There was also a nice selection of after dinner drinks and digestifs. The entrees were what needed to be kicked up a notch. My companions's corned beef reuben was somewhat deceptively packaged, with a 3rd slice of bread in the middle. It was literally 3 slices of bread and 4 slices of corned beef. He lives in Tewksbury, and he compared this reuben unfavorably to what he could get at Deli King for much less. My Cobblestone burger looked delicious. But I asked for it medium and it came out well done, and the bacon had more flavor than the burger. But I'm glad they didn't try to disguise the flavor with condiments, and you can order additional guacamole and/or mushroom for it for a small charge. This is possibly one of those places where the entrees vary, and over time if you dine here often enough you figure out which ones you like best. If we return, we'll definitely try different entrees.

I ordered a Pastrami Sandwich Yesterday; 11/11/23, Veterans Day, The Pastrami Sandwich was the worst I have ever had. The sandwich was all fat. I was very sorry that I ate part of it.

Pretty place, but noisy as heck with mediocre food and drink. 2 couples went on Friday night before a show at Tsongas arena. A lot of people had the same idea; they take reservations and set up the function room to accommodate the rush. (kudos) Our server was like a deer in the headlights, dealing with a very slow bar and like i said, very noisy environment. Speaking of environment, the fans above were blowing, then off, then blowing - hot/cold/hot/cold...no fun. The ladies room was gross by 6pm. I ordered an espresso martini. It was very sweet and tasted alcohol-free. Food: I asked for a burger, med-rare. Warned that I'd send it back if overcooked. Well I lied, because I ate it anyway. Nice charred outside but DRY. I rarely use ketchup, but had to last night to choke it down. Hubby got 2 apps for dinner - a 2 pulled pork taco special, and a 5-shrimp on toast app. The flour tortillas and filling were cold, 2/3 veg to 1/3 meat (maybe 1T per taco). Not good. The shrimp was overly spicy and the toast, soggy. The other couple got the swordfish special and french dip. No one was impressed/indicated any desire to come back.

Went there for lunch. Food was just a tad on the expensive side. I ordered a burger which was $16. The other person ordered a chicken sandwich which was similarly priced. Food was very good. The burger was actually two burgers in a bun and came with hand cut BBQ chips. I was told the chicken sandwich was beyond awesome so if we come back I'm going to try the chicken.

I went for dinner on a Tuesday. It wasn't too busy at that time and we got right in. The environment was pretty and peaceful. It was decorated for Valentine's Day already. We started with pork rib appetizer. It was very good, but tiny. Four small ribs and there were four of us, so we got a taste. We each got different meals and everyone enjoyed what they got. I passed around my Chicken Masala because I had enough to share. Everyone else liked it as well. It was delicious. The wide noodles tasted freshly made. Only thing I didn't enjoy was my drink. I ordered just cranberry and club soda. It tasted funky like the juice had fermented or something. They offered to replace it, but I declined. I didn't have to pay for it. Staff was friendly and the service was very good.

This review is for the "$5 burger special" on Sundays from 3-6pm in the bar. Upon going, one would think this is a good deal, however it isn't. It is a build a burger and the sheet can be shown below. Anything you want on it costs extra...including a tomato slice for $1.50! Fries are $1, but the portion is so disappointing...smaller than a McDonalds small fry. I would rather have to buy more fries for $5 and split with a friend or something. Everyone liked the burgers, but we would have rather just paid for a sandwich meal and gotten a substantial portion for $11-15. I was also surprised it took ~45 min for the food to come out and there were not many ppl in the restaurant. In fact, we got front row parking outside which NEVER happens. I'm giving 3 stars because I have not experienced the other food in the dining area or the brunch . We will not be returning for the "burger deal" though.

The last two times I have been here, no server checked on the meal. Twice, now I had to get my own check because the staff disappears. The cooks (not chefs) can't seem to cook a burger medium. Once it came bloody and the other well done. I don't know why people say the decor is nice. It is filthy. They keep mouse traps in the dinning room, right next to where they sit you. I have sat in the same table before and there was no mouse trap. Which means that they now have a mouse/rat problem. Yikes! The curtains have gross stains and don't look like they have been washed in 25 years. This place could use a deep clean and new paint. Today, I found a smooched fly on the inside of the window. I mean couldn't they clean the window they killed it and before they sat paying customers? The food is overpriced. The drinks are gross and not worth trying. The service is slow to horrible. I have been asked to come back to be treated for dinner. Unless they clean the place up, I don't think I will. My picture below shows just one spot of several of dirt and who knows what else on the curtain.

Staff is very nice. Definitely had the worst sandwich of my life. Pastrami. The bread was so burnt or stale and hard I couldn't eat it. I can't believe they would send that out of the kitchen. Also as for the best buffalo wings ever. They weren't. And if I put the pieces together, it would've came out to one tender for $16.95. The one star was only because the staff was very nice! The food was awful.. I know it's hard to get good help in the kitchen. But the food was awful. You've been in business for a long time. Do a better job if you want to stay in business!

What a nice restaurant. Lovely layout and design. The spinners game got rained out so my friends and I can here for a casual dinner. Wonderful menu with lots of variety (veg & GF). We shared the nachos and calamari app and then I had the french dip sandwich which was perfect. Service was friendly (actually she was a bit over chatty) but very nice. Great variety of beers on tap! I also saw the outside patio, which was closed today due to the rain.

If I can give zero I would give a big fat zero!!! Sat down for 30 minutes and no one even acknowledged us. They offered a $10 gift. But I refused. I will never be back for lackluster service.

We have been talking about going to Cobblestone for years and had never made it. Finally went last Saturday night. It was different from what we expected (we thought it was more steak house.) This is definitely an event place. Perfect for birthdays, parties etc. They also advertise a lot of sports event's are three floors so it would be fun to watch a Pat's game there. Some might think it pricey but the quality justifies the price. My sister had the scallops in ginger sauce and raved and raved. Felt they were the best scallops she has ever had...and that is saying a lot. The service was terrific. As is the management. We had called ahead one evening and phone had said yes they were open. We arrived to find they were closed for summer vacation. We let them know via email and they sent us a gift certificate. That was nice and probably good business as we will be repeat customers.

I love coming here. The food, especially chicken marsala, is excellent. The ambiance is comfortable and tables are not crowded together. Since they opened, they have consistently delivered good service and food.

Love this place. Friendly staff, and the owners have always been good. I have only been coming since 2006, but I have never been disappointed. Will keep coming back. The big pretzel is so good.. I give people the side eye if they eat quicker then me.

We really enjoyed our Valentines Dinner. Service and atmosphere were great and the food was outstanding. We started with a Beef Carpaccio appetizer followed by a Strawberry Salad and Cheese Bread. All were excellent. We both ordered Filet Mignon cooked medium rare for dinner. The steaks were perfectly prepared and the sides were excellent, as well. I had my steak with a Jalapeño Butter which was a very nice addition. We finished with Cheesecake and Strawberry Shortcake desserts to top off a perfect meal. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

i would not recommend coming here. their food is not at a good quality and it is comparable to what's served at the umass lowell dining halls. awful. and expensive.

I was told the Southern Fried Chicken was the best fried chicken around. The wife and I decided to use a Grubhub gift card to check it out. It was good. They put it the extra effort of frying their chicken after cooking it using the sous vide method. The result is very moist fried chicken. Maybe too moist?The sous vide method tends to yield barely done chicken. My wife would not even try the pink tinged meat. The sriracha honey dipping sauce was very tasty though. My wife had the Faroe Islands Summer Salmon. She was not satisfied. Perhaps eating in the restaurant would have made for a better experience (and justified the cost) but, for take out, it was ok.

BRUNCH! I've had more than a few brunches here. The eggs benedict are really good, but the avocado toast is too! The cocktails are really good (especially the bloody marys!). It is a little expensive, but the service is generally good.

Dining room is very nice, i only got a soup because i was on a tight schedule but the french onion was a 4/10 and staff seemed like they were untrained.

It's been a while since I've been to Cobblestones, but we decided to go there for dinner before the show at Lowell Auditorium last night. It did not disappoint. We were seated quickly, which was great because we had to make the show at 730. The place was packed, but the waitress was attentive and took our drink and food order right away. The food was delicious, I ordered the salmon over ramen noodles. We were out in time for a pleasant walk to the Auditorium for a great show. Side note, while we ate in the dining room last night, I've always thought that Cobblestones has one of the coolest bars in the area - very comfortable environment with a deep history in the Mill City.
