We had a great time at the Cochin Fort Restaurant Was packed but they welcomed each and every customer with a lot of courtesy. We were lucky to be served by a gentleman called Atul… quick, courteous and well behaved. The chatti choru was a delight Chilly beef was too good and so was the kerala porotta.. Went in there for having some good food and beer during the new year eve. And I was thoroughly disappointed. Food was below par quality. The dry gobi items were cold and didn't seem fresh. The service took forever. Waiters weren't attentive and everything was all over the place here. A two-star rating is somewhat very generous from my side. Never going back there neither recommending anyone reading this review. HNY 2026 🙌

Love watching the rain from their inner courtyard. This place deserves better google rating. We always saw people sitting here but always passed by because their google rating wasn’t very high. But one rainy afternoon we came here as it was the closest to the boat jetty. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, service, drinks and price. One of the few times when google rating is off. Definitely a repeat place for us.

Not so good. Came here for snacks but they had no samosas and no onion pakora or bhaji. All we ended up with was a couple of very small plates of chips and beers. Disappointing place

Absolutely disgraceful experience. The staff has no idea how to treat customers, and the manager’s behavior was equally rude, indifferent, and unprofessional. I was made to wait for nearly 20 minutes to order food at 22:40, only to be bluntly told at 22:59 that food orders were closed. There was no prior intimation, no apology, and no accountability — just arrogance. If the kitchen was closing, customers should not be kept waiting like fools. This reflects shocking mismanagement and complete disregard for basic customer etiquette. Truly pathetic and unacceptable.

The beers didnt have prices on the menu. When i asked the waiter he mentioned that its different prices for foreigners and locals. That is a cheap way of making money. Its not the waiters fault. It reflects back to the owner. Such a cliche way of doing business.

Visited this Cochin Fort restaurant near the Kochi Biennale main venue and had a great experience. The food was really good, we especially loved the fish curry and fish meal, both had a perfectly balanced taste. The veg options were also impressive, especially the bhindi masala. Prices are reasonable and worth it for the quality. Special thanks to Mr. Zakki for being very polite and helpful in explaining the dishes, and for providing excellent service. Highly recommended if you’re around Fort Kochi!

really wanted to love this spot because the decor and vibe are excellent. Unfortunately, the poor customer service ruined the experience. We waited way too long to be served and felt unwelcome. 5 stars for ambience, 1 star for service.
