Cochin Fort Restaurant

Love watching the rain from their inner courtyard. This place deserves better google rating. We always saw people sitting here but always passed by because their google rating wasn’t very high. But one rainy afternoon we came here as it was the closest to the boat jetty. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, service, drinks and price. One of the few times when google rating is off. Definitely a repeat place for us.

The beers didnt have prices on the menu. When i asked the waiter he mentioned that its different prices for foreigners and locals. That is a cheap way of making money. Its not the waiters fault. It reflects back to the owner. Such a cliche way of doing business.

We were served by Vipro at the bar, and he was absolutely amazing! His hospitality, friendly attitude, and attention to detail made our experience truly enjoyable. He recommended great drinks, kept checking on us with a warm smile, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our time there.

When i asked for the bill it took forever to come. They asked if I wanted more drink and I said I have been waiting for the bill. When it came, I paid but didn't check amount. The waiter came running after me as he put decimal in wrong place. I went back to pay the rest and maybe owner apologized but also wanted extra money! After I got calculator and receipt out we got there in the end Nice food but be very careful of the bill

The food was very tasty especially the preparation of seafood felt like homecooked food, it was fresh and it had azaming taste!! Waiters were good especially Vijay who was serving us had good knowledge about the ingredients and the food in their Menu.

We had our lunch here at 5 pm literally, Captain Ajith sir so polite and made us feel safe.. Food was extraordinary.. loved it

I had chicken biryani from this restaurant. The taste was average, but the quantity was generous. The ambiance of the restaurant is great.The staff were good .They also have a beer parlour in the front. This restaurant is expensive because it is a tourist place. ♿✖️Entrance is not wheelchair accessible. 🚻✅Has restroom facilities.
