We had a tasty lunch at Cochinchina, with tasty original dishes, and a nice ambient in one of the lovely streets of Schwabing. They use good ingredients, and the waiters are friendly and attentive. The price point is a tad higher, but you should expect that based on the location and the quality of the food.

Amazing food! We took few appetizers to share, and then each of a main course, it was a good decision. The spicy dishes are moderate spicy.

This was the first one we tried from our friends top 10 Munich restaurants and it was a great one to start with. The atmosphere is great, and as a couple you can enjoy an intimate dinner. The service was friendly and good. The food was delicious. The best mango salad we have had in Munich. Over all this is a repeater of a restaurant. Really enjoyed it.

Best vietnamese restaurant in Munich, definitely a must-try. The food was delicious, drinks were amazing and the atmosphere is perfect, intimate and cosy. Service was also great. The prices are a bit high but you definitely get your money's worth. Ideal place for special occasions. We also asked for the leftovers to be packed and they put extra rice with the dishes.

Very nice restaurant. Food super tasty and a lot of options available in the restaurant's menu. Very busy place - thats another indicator that the food and atmosphere must be good. :) Perfect, if you are in a group of friends or family. Despite the fact that it was super busy and we were in a group of 7 people, food was delivered relatively quick. Staff very approachable and friendly. I will be back! Cheers!

Yelp
Nice ambience, fast and attentitve service, good drinks, and above average vietnamese food which is best suited to sharing. Decent value considering everything including location.

Yelp
I have walked by here for years and never bothered to try it. Finally a friend of mine suggested we go here for lunch and off we went. It's a classy Vietnamese restaurant with posh interiors. But unlike many places in Munich where people go to be seen (this is definitely one of them) the food here is good. It's a bit of Vietnamese and some other Asian fusion thrown in for good measure. The menu is huge and there is plenty of choice for most tastes including vegetarian. The lunch card is also reasonably priced but the rest is a bit pricey for what it is. The food here is good and fresh and tastes great. I don't mind paying a bit more for good quality ingredients which this place uses. I had a noodle salad for lunch with a spring roll starter. Both tasted good and well made. The only disappointment was that I had the same sauce for both dishes. Service was good and friendly and all in all a nice experience. I would come back here again.

Yelp
Excellent Asian food, with a particular honor mention for the "roll it yourself" dishes. Every single starter we had was also great.

Yelp
The food was ok but quite overpriced. We had two small starters, a duck salad, a red curry with two jumbo shrimp, a small glas of wine, and a mango shake for € 70. That's fine for NYC but not Munich. The restaurant's atmosphere was nice with good outside seating. However, the service was really bad. The waiters were not attentive, forgot our drinks, and one of our orders. Overall not worth the money for average food with bad service. Go there for drinks. They were good and the restaurant is in a nice area.

Yelp
Way way way overpriced - sorry, nothing could justify the price of the dish, nothing special or warranting such ridiculous prices. The restaurant books the tables and then asks you to leave so they can rotate new people in, definitely not the German standard of dining culture where you can stay at the table as long as you want. They quickly remove your drinks and dishes trying to force you out and then just finally ask you to leave. I mean come on...I will never go back.

Yelp
Great food. The staff is mostly Asians who speak German and not good English. So be prepared to explain detail what you ask for

Yelp
The food here was very flavorful. Prices are a bit higher than I would like, however, taste and quality is just great. Ambience is good and place is very clean.

Yelp
Fantastic Vietnamese food and very friendly wait staff. They spoke a little bit of English and they were very kind while serving us and working through our order. We will definitely be back! The Monkfish appetizer, beef noodle bowl and build your own spring rolls were our table's favorites!

Yelp
Considering how hard it is to get authentic Asian food in Munich we were very pleased with our food and service. Their dumplings reminded me of ones I would get in SF. I had some stuffed with meat and Kimchee which was lovely. The Vietnamese buttered prawns were ok but not like having Japanese tempura. We had duck which was good but I suspect previously frozen before cooking. Service was excellent and it is a lovely restaurant. Very busy with locals on a Tuesday night.

Yelp
Loved the food and ambience of the place, however a tad pricey for a Vietnamese Restaurant. But will probably go back anyway

Yelp
It really is amazing food. This is coming from someone who is born and raised in Asia, plus lived and travelled extensively globally. After living for 4 years across Germany, this place serves the best Vietnamese cuisine and is on the top of my list for good and fresh food. We went during Saturday lunch, the restuarant got crowded quite quickly after opening. There were a couple of reservations in place, including a demanding large crowd. We were seated very quickly and menus were brought promptly. My husband ordered a main off the menu of the day, which included grilled pork chops served with rice, sunny side up egg and salad. I opted for the traditional rice noodles served with crispy duck. What a cullinary experiences. Such fresh salads and vegetables. The meats were finely marinated, flavours of lemon grass, fermented beans and spices blend beautifully together. The portions were generous and presentation was appetizing. They could have brought out both our meals at the same time, the rice noodles came about 10 minutues after the pork chops, considering it was a small table with only these 2 food orders. However, the quality of the food and the overall dining experience certainly made up for it. I decided to order the mango sorbet with ginger after the meal. It was tasty, tangy from the fruit with a lovely hint of spice from the ginger. Very lovely twist. The entire experience was very pleasant. The wait staff knew when to pick up culteries, when to ask if we wanted more orders and when to leave us alone to dine in enjoyment. When prompted, they came quickly. Already have reservations in place for the next visit. This time, for dinner. Looking forward to it!
