We visited store #5 Doña María yesterday and were blown away by both the amazing food and service.
We started with just ordering the pan fried salmon, but as other food started going out around us, we just asked what it was and ended up ordering a chupe de jaiba (crab) as well. Our first time having a chupe - this one was a delicious, creamy, well balanced bowl of deliciousness 😋 Salmon was sensational as well.
Highly recommended!

Great authentic place to have lunch, especially seafood. There are about 10 different stores and mostly have the same things for similar prices. For example the Paila Marina I had was between 5 and 8 thousand. I had it in stall 1 (Judith) for 7000 and it was very tasty with loads of seafood in it.

Very let down by the food quality and hygiene standards particularly when handling seafood. I had a curanto from No 3 and ended up with severe food poisoning shortly after. Even if you lay off the seafood, you can expect frozen packet fries with dry and over cooked beef for approx $10 USD
It was a shame as there is an authentic and rustic charm to Coconeria Dalcahue with its round windows reminiscent of the inside of a ship. The portions were also abundant.

Cocineria Dalcahue is a fish market-style dining area. We visited La Nona, stall #3, and ordered curanto and cancato de salmon. Both were delicious, but if it's your first time, try the curanto, a local specialty. Highly recommended!!

Food market with good prices and good quality. It's a bit hidden from outside but it's worth it coming in

In comparison to other places you get a big dish for an okay price. Everything is expensive everywhere in Chile somehow. But this was okay. Lots of fat and meat for the cheaper stuff, though.
