Cockney’s Valletta Restaurant

Very UNFORGETTABLE dinner. Nice restaurant with beautiful sea view. The food is delicious and with good price — Everything served is beyond our expectation. I need to give my genuine thanks to BINITA and BRADLEY. They treat us very well and kindly since the very first second we entered the restaurant. Bradley introduced every dish patiently and took great photo of us. He also show us the whole restaurant and told us the story and history there. Thanks a lot! Here I got one more reason to love Malta. I definitely will come here again!

All the food was incredible, but the baked Camembert was insane. The pistachio cannoli were a little bit flavourless, but the texture was good and kind of made up for it. Really great place to have a nice dinner when in Valletta :)

Extremely warm and welcoming. 14 January 2025 Our first full day in Malta, we decided to come to Cockney’s for lunch / early dinner. We sat outside, which was very nice and well-kept. Bradley was our server and he was absolutely phenomenal. He was very kind and made us feel very comfortable (so much so that we stayed overtime). He moved a heater to us for warmth, and when it became windy he gave us blankets. Bradley was very pleasant to have conversation with as well, offering us great service and humor. The food was very delicious. I had a salmon ravioli dish (special of the day) and my friend had the three fish dish (also a special). We both ordered the Berry Mojito as well and both were 100% satisfied. The food was served hot and the drinks were very nice. We also ordered desert, which was excellent. I had the classic cannoli, while my friend ordered the pistachio cannoli. No complaints to be made at all. Everything, from presentation to taste, was worth every euro spent. We got to briefly meet the owner, who was kind and caring as well. Overall, the perfect place for my friend and I. Highly recommended.

This was such a lovely experience! Bradley, our server, was so kind and very attentive to little details. We went to eat outside on a windy and rainy day, and he gave us blankets and moved a heater towards our table to keep us warm. Bradley was very fun to talk to as well, and had some tips on areas to explore throughout the island and in Valletta. The food was excellent and blended flavors and textures so well! I had the three fish of the day, which was plated beautifully and was very delicate in its texture. I had the pistachio cannoli which was just amazing, with the perfect crunch and yummy filling. We met the owner too, which was an honor as the restaurant has its special little history. Very sweet and always making sure customers are enjoying their time. Overall, such a wonderful experience I won’t forget and will definitely be coming back. And if you’re a BTS fan or not… stop by! :)

Firstly the service is fantastic, very welcoming, quick and efficient too. The view across the water is outstanding too, just so calming especially watching the sunset. However the food, well this is a surprise as it’s a letdown except for the baked Camembert. The scallop dish we had was dry and the scallops must be the smallest we’ve ever seen. The linguine, well it had a lot of seafood, can’t fault that but absolutely zero flavour and all overcooked too. The sauce was quite bland and all the seafood was chewy. The red prawns on rice was exactly the same, just lacking depth and the sides … not even sure the point of those and not worth even trying. If you’re a foodie who likes depth of flavour … this is not where you want to eat! But as I said, the staff and view can’t be faulted at all!

After hearing about this place from one of their family members I decided to give it a whirl. It was a damned humid and hot day so the breeze from the harbour was great fully acceptable. Needed a pint of excel just to quench the thirst developed. The food was good but not quite the level of the other family member’s establishment the risotto needed a little more punch of flavour.

They have an amazing sea and city view, you might see a lot of people around because of the ferry ⛴️, food was great, we choose octopus carpaccio, seafood linguine and the confit pork belly, and the staff was amazing!! Shot out to Igor

Had a tasty lunch here before taking the ferry to Sliema. The service excellent and the view is gorgeous. Good and wine were good too. Bradley, our brilliant waiter, recommended a delicious digestif made with cactus fruit. They have a pet cock who wanders about.
