Cockney’s Valletta Restaurant

What a fantastic dining experience! The quality of the food at Cockney’s Valletta Restaurant is truly exceptional. It was incredibly flavorful and easily one of the best meals I've had recently. Moreover, the service was impeccable. Our waiter was very friendly and professional, and the overall operation of the restaurant was super well-organized. Everything about our visit, from start to finish, was perfect. If you're looking for fantastic food paired with wonderful service, this is the place to go. I can't wait to come back!

We stumbled upon this gem while wandering around Valletta looking for a seafood spot, and we definitely got lucky. The location is fantastic, with a beautiful view of the sea which gives an amazing summer vibe. The staff were very friendly and gave excellent recommendations. Every dish we tried was incredible, clearly made with fresh ingredients. We started with the oysters and octopus carpaccio, and for mains, the seafood linguini and crab risotto, everything was absolutely delicious 🦐

The food at this place is amazing! 🥰 We ordered: 1. Slow-cooked octopus, 2. Seafood linguine, 3. Two fresh oysters, and 4. Trio mushroom risotto. Everything was delicious and nicely presented! The atmosphere is great, with cozy seating, a lovely view, and a friendly server. Come and give it a try!

Had fantastic dinner here after evening in Valletta before catching ferry back to Silema. Right by the ferry terminal and buzzing atmosphere. Food was amazing and the service was great. Had delicious fish soup followed by slow cooked Octopus. Everything was excellent

This is MUST!!! I’ve been to a lot of restaurants and bars in Malta but this is one of the best if not the best! Great service . Super nice and welcoming waiters who would even give you blankets when it’s a bit chilly at night without even having to ask ! Binita, Bradley, Stefan or Fabian are so kind and sweet ! I have felt so welcomed and loved. I’m overwhelmed! And the food and drinks are simply amazing! Even the owner Charles would take care of me and we’ve had a drink! The fish is so fresh and tasty! All my respect goes to the chef cook! I’ve recommend it to a lot of friends and guests. Also when I would see people standing in front of it I told them to go in because it’s so really that good! The restaurant has a long family tradition and is very charming. The atmosphere is great. Like the whole vibe and the view of the harbor! From the bottom of my heart thank you ! I will be back 🍾🙏❤️

The view was fantastic which created a really lovely atmosphere to close off a lovely day in Valletta. The Rabbit was very tasty and the risotto was wonderful too. The food defeated us but the waiters were kind enough to give us goody bags with the remains that we had later.

Amazing food and huge portions. Our waiter Bradley was absolutely lovely and made us laugh all night. If we had longer in Malta we would definitely be returning! We had the crab risotto and the seafood pasta and they were both so tasty but too big to finish

As you disembark from the ferry the first restaurant you see is Cockney’s. It’s owned by a Maltese couple in their early eighties who we had the pleasure of being introduced to by the engaging and entertaining Bradley, one of the Indian waiters. The restaurant has both indoor and al fresco dining with views overlooking the sea. Spectacular setting for eating spectacular food. We both had calamari to start which was like a main meal (portion size was huge) could have shared one. Then I chose the dish of the day which was king prawn pasta, a mountain of spaghetti that was actually too much so I couldn’t finish. The prawns were fresh and delicious. Chris had the 4 mushroom risotto which he said was rich and filling.. again very generous portions. Bradley was a very good waiter, he was funny and engaging. He is a very talented waiter, I feel he should be in management. We had after dinner drinks at the bar area just up from the restaurant also owned by the same people. Here we met another engaging man by the name of Stefan. We have since returned to this bar several times now and will continue to do so before we return to Blighty on Saturday. The only thing I’d change is the name, I’d prefer to have the Maltese 🇲🇹 influence vs another reminder of England..we loved the food and people of Cockneys. Thank you team!
