Coco Bambu - Meireles

I don't understand how this place has such a high rating. In other countries you would have to be an outstanding restaurant to get a 4.8 rating on Google. I definitely don't have the same taste as Brazilians. It's not like the food was bad. And the price is fair as well. But it's definitely not a restaurant I would recommend (it's absolutely nothing special). Waiters were kind.

Fantastic place with great atmosphere, live music and different areas to enjoy just the way you want. Friendly staff with amazing actitud and manners. Tasted food, cool drinks and delicious cocktails. We ordered some ”pasteis de carne do sol", " pastéis de camarão", "cocada de forno com sorvete" and "caipiroskas de frutas", yummy, yummy, yummy.

Service was not at the Coco Mambo usual level: Service was difficult , food was medium. ( Waiter G). We ordered plates for 4 people. First plate arrived 20min after ordering, the others 50 - 1h20 after ordering and were more or less cold ( fish and lobster). When we told this to the waiter and the supervisor they just lifted their shoulders. Knowing the Coco chain we won't visit this restaurant again and won't suggest it to our friends anymore. Avoid

Good place to have a kid's birthday party apparently. Had 4 the same evening. Food is average, waiters seemed nice but overwhelmed by the abundance of screaming kids. I'm guessing it was just a bad evening to come to this restaurant.

The food here was impeccable! Plus the staff was so attentive. This is the best place I've eaten at in Fortaleza. Can't wait to return.

Great food and very good drinks / prices. I loved the pastas, chicken parm, and the steak frites

Really good food! The fish dishes can easily be split between 2 or even 3 people, very large portions. The upstairs bar/restaurant is a fun place to eat and more lively than the rest of the resturant, a little more secluded.
