Coco Bodu Hithi

We spent almost two weeks at Coco Bodu Hithi in November for our honeymoon, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly suited for relaxing. What impressed us the most was the incredible friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Every request was handled immediately and to our complete satisfaction.||We stayed in an Island Villa. Our first villa had direct water access via a staircase, but the seabed there was full of dead corals, so swimming without shoes was difficult. After mentioning this, we were immediately offered a villa change. Two days later, we moved into a new villa that was absolutely perfect, with our own small private beach area and easy barefoot access to the water. The house reef was right next to us and is definitely a highlight — especially the sea turtles we saw again and again.||The food was excellent in all restaurants. Our favorite was the Japanese restaurant, and the ceviche at the Aqua Restaurant was the best dish we had during our entire stay. The main restaurant offered a great variety every day, with something for everyone.||A very special thank you goes to the wonderful staff who made our stay unforgettable:| • Gowtham, our personal host, who was always available and fulfilled all our wishes.| • Jit from housekeeping, who kept our villa in perfect condition and surprised us with beautiful bed decorations for my birthday and our anniversary.| • Ali, Aktar, and Liton from the main restaurant, who took care of us every single day — morning, noon, and evening — always smiling, welcoming us warmly, and making us feel truly special. Ali even spoke a little German and remembered our favorite drinks.||Conclusion:|Coco Bodu Hithi was the perfect place for our honeymoon. Amazing nature, fantastic food, a beautiful house reef, and a team that truly cares about its guests. We would come back anytime and highly recommend this resort.

Excellent island. Small enough to met people and make friends, large enough to be on your own. Buffet food was excellent. Staff really friendly. Wildlife was good ( yes some of us go to see the wildlife) and you can get to meet the parrots at breakfast. Coral is really looked after and attracting fish so snorkelling is great. Not too many sharks but we saw them and rays every day. Missed out on the turtles but they are there. Lots to do, special food theme nights with famous chefs ( chargeable), days trips. Free events include open air cinema, and kids catered for with activities everyday, we even had henna tattoos for New Years ( this should be a regular thing!), entertainment every night ( and it was not too much or too loud). Every year we say that we are going to take a trip to Male but we did not want to leave the island. Staff go over and above to assist , everyone says hello from the gardeners to the builders ( building the decking out side the games hut) and all are really friendly. Def one of the better islands - it is really amazing.

Coco Bodu Hithi is a truly beautiful resort and an unforgettable experience. The island is stunning, with crystal-clear water, white sandy beaches, and a very peaceful atmosphere. The villas are spacious, clean, and perfectly designed for relaxation, especially the water villas with breathtaking views.||The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the stay even more special. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the overall service was excellent. It’s the perfect place for couples, honeymooners, or anyone looking to relax in luxury. I would definitely love to come back.

I stayed at the beautiful Coco Bodu Hithi resort in the Maldives from 1–4 January 2026, and it was truly a memorable experience. I was warmly welcomed by my personal host, Hajar, who was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my stay, always making sure my needs were met.|Although the resort itself is a bit old, it has a charming rustic feel that adds to its beauty. The rooms were very comfortable, functional, and well-maintained. Everything from the food to the ambience was simply perfect.|We enjoyed activities like the sunset cruise and snorkeling, both of which were fantastic experiences. The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend opting for the half-board package, which includes breakfast and dinner, it’s definitely worth it.|This resort is ideal for honeymooners, as it is very private, peaceful, and incredibly romantic.

I'll start at the beginning! It was our first time in the Maldives, and so we spent a fair amount of time researching resorts that matched what we were looking for: All-Inclusive, tranquil, clean with good food and service. Was also looking for a relatively seamless transfer time to the resort after a 10hr flight from London.||This brings us to Coco Bodu Hithi. On paper it ticked all the boxes, and the reviews on Tripadvisor reaffirmed the booking. Super simple speedboat transfer (40ish mins) from the airport, and were greeted by our wonderful host, Gowtham. The team took our luggage from the boat directly to the room (Beach Villa with Pool). The room was incredible. Exactly as it's shown on the website. It was enormous, with direct access to the white sandy beach from one end, while the other end opened onto a small decking, with an inviting black tiled pool and large sun-lounger for 2. The room has excellent A/C, as well as 2 ceiling fans. It's meticulously cleaned twice per day, with fresh towels and beach towels provided daily. ||Food was great and always varied. I personally enjoyed the curry dishes which always tasted fresher and more authentic than our local curry house! The fresh grill at lunch and dinner consisted of tuna, white fish, chicken kebabs, steak and more. Tons of fruit, salad bar, and so on....it was all great. Massive thanks to Didi who looked after us every day, as well as out Maitre'D, Joy who was so lovely. We also ate at Stars and Aqua (recommended for the location).||At sunset, the Latitude Bar was a great place to hang out, enjoy a cocktail while the House DJ plays music that fits the vibe. Another big shout out to Venky who made sure our drinks were never empty. ||The house reef is incredible, and regularly swam/snorkeled with the "local" Hawksbill Turtles and Nurse Sharks, as well as hundreds of different fish. You can get the equipment (free) from the Dive Center.||I could go on, but I'll stop here. To conclude, it you want to be on the beach, go for the Beach Villa. The Island villa doesn't have access to the beach. The Escape Water Villas looked stunning, but for my wife and I, the beach is an important consideration. ||Thanks Coco Bodu Hithi - we absolutely loved it. We'll be back!

My husband and I came for a weeks holiday and stayed in one of the beach rooms. Everything about the holiday was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for more. The staff are amazing and such lovely people. We did a lot of snorkeling and saw the hawksbill turtles on the house reef. It was beautiful. The food is excellent, the rooms outstanding, the beach as you expect is like paradise. Special thanks to our little team who took care of us. Didi, Joy and Gowtham. You are all brilliant. This place is a beauty, We stayed in both Beach Villa as well as Escape water Villa, Both rooms were quiet big and had all set of amenities needed, starting from private pool, access to beach.||Place was pretty clean and well maintained. Staff were pretty friendly and co-operative as well. Agent was able to pick us from airport and plan our boat ride to resort without any issues. ||Everything was well planned with time. Room was available right on we landed with pretty good welcome

Our first impressions on the Coco Bodu Hithi resort were that they have put a lot of thought into the design and amenities of the island. Rest assured that you will be very well taken care of with staff that are professional, friendly and polite. The reef is teeming with aquatic life and we have spent many afternoons exploring the various spots around the island. From the check in to check out process - A special thanks to our host Dyan who have looked after us, ensuring that our stay remained smooth, uninterrupted and enjoyable. And thanks to M.
