Coco Grove Beach Resort

We stayed 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. The resort definitely needs a good renovation. All of the rooms and furniture were old and the pool facilities were full of hair, leaves and bugs. Our room was never clean clean. We would always find hair in the corner and found some tiny bugs on our bed the last night. Towels were also not changed the last day.. Breakfast and food overall adequate but nothing special. People were trying to do their best, but they were not remotely close to the professionals we encountered in other resorts. My favourite part was its location next to the beach. As a resort hotel definitely needs a major upgrade. WiFi does not work everywhere. Lastly the massage WAS EXTREMELY GOOD! So great work for the spa ladies!

Our stay Coco Grove was great! Staff are so friendly and attentive and even remember your names. The breakfast was good and so was the BBQ food at the restaurant. We tried all 3 restaurants and were impressed with them all. Rooms are basic but clean and include toiletries and teas, coffee, etc. Location was good and tuk tuks are parked opposite the hotel so easy to get around. Pool areas are good and have lots of seating areas, along with the beach which is amazing for sunsets.

Absolutely fabulous resort. We have traveled all around the Philippines and this is by far our favorite resort! Beds, rooms, grounds, 4 swimming pools are top notch 10/10 The staff are friendly and accomidating to the highest degree. We had a 38th wedding anniversary on the beach and the service, the food and location was great. Especially our server, Mars, was very attentive to detail and made sure everything was the way we wanted it. This stay is our 2nd visit to Coco Beach and literally I would love to live here!

This resort surprised me in the best way possible. Everything was easy and relaxing the whole time we were there. The staff truly looked out for us, especially to my senior tita. The whole resort was beautiful and clean. The room we stayed in was super spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. They had multiple on-site restaurants, and all had their meals and drinks well-prepared, fresh, and served with the same attentive care we received our whole stay. In addition to the resort being clean, beautiful, and spacious, what truly made an impact was the staff. They were the whole heart of the experience. Loved how they put a fun sing & dance performance at the end of the night. Thank you Coco Grove Beach Resort. The resort and the staff truly exceeded our expectations! We left already thinking when to come back. :) <3

Loved our stay here in Coco Beach resort. We were looked after by Roselio for breakfast who went above and beyond each day to ensure our breakfast was perfect even getting us waffles from a different breakfast place. Nothing was too much trouble for him always a big smile on his face and he really went the extra mile to make sure it was perfect. He is a lovely man and a huge credit to Coco Beach! The lovely Honey is also a credit and made us feel very welcome. The staff here made our experience nothing is too much trouble for anyone. Thank you Coco Beach staff for really making our experience!

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at Coco Grove Beach Resort in Siquijor. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, beautiful, and well-run. The property itself is stunning and truly feels like a paradise retreat. One of the biggest highlights was the staff—especially the women at the front desk and the experiences team. They were so lively, friendly, and genuinely helpful, and what stood out most was how they always remembered our names. That personal touch made us feel so welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. The experiences team also took real time to make sure we had the perfect excursions. They helped us plan our Apo Island trip and curated the type of island exploration we wanted, including visiting spiritual and local sites. Booking scooters through the resort was also quick and seamless, which made exploring Siquijor easy and stress-free. Breakfast was consistently great and staff were very accommodating. We also ordered room service almost every day and it was excellent. We stayed in the Penthouse and I highly recommend it—spacious, beautiful, and two floors. The nightly turndown service (closing the curtains, etc.) was such a thoughtful luxury touch. Another great perk: you can reserve a specific dinner table free of charge, which we loved. Complimentary port transfers were also included, and having their own on-site dive center made it super convenient to book our Apo Island dive. Coco Grove is a must-stay in Siquijor—we will definitely be back.

Lovely resort! Very attentive staff, beautiful gardens, beautiful pools, and spectacular beach. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!||We stayed here for three nights and had an opportunity to eat at all of the restaurants, enjoy all of the pools and the beach and I even did a yoga class.||Restaurants: my highlight!! I eat vegan and had an incredibly difficult time during my trip throughout the Philippines. However, this hotel rose to the challenge! I was accommodated beautifully, and all of the staff were so gracious.||Beach: lots of beach, lounge, chairs, hammocks, beautiful, palm tree, trees, and com, tropical water and gorgeous sound! Easy snorkelling from the beach and a gentle beach slope would make this perfect for people of all ages.||Pools: with a gorgeous beach, who needs pools?! Yet the pools were clean, perfectly maintained, and very inviting.||Rooms: we had a standard room in the main building overlooking the street. I was concerned it would be noisy – it was not! The room was very comfortable and housekeeping staff were delightful.||Would gladly recommend this hotel to visitors, looking for a beach vacation in a gorgeous spot.

Read the other reviews too… be very careful how you make a booking to stay here as I think there is a scam involved. We didn’t even get to stay here even though we had booked and paid in full for 5 days via Agoda in November. When I read the recent review where someone had a massive issue at check in, I decided to contact the hotel to ask about a pick up from the port. After very poor communication for 3 days on both email and what’s app, a few hours before we were supposed to check in, I got a message to say our booking had failed and we had no reservation. I called the hotel straight away and although she was nice enough on the phone, they had no room for us. They blamed Agoda saying it was their fault, but told me that they had several groups arriving that day, and also told me that they had been fully booked for at least 6 months (so how did we even make the booking in the first place?!). I contacted Agoda (who are always very helpful) who said the hotel apologised to them for a technical issue (so coco grove accepted responsibility) and Agoda gave us an immediate full refund. I believe Coco Grove just cancelled us because they routinely overbook and then just cancel people when they get a bigger/better booking. After a very very stressful few hours at very last minute, we had our money refunded by Agoda and had to find another hotel on the same day we arrived on the island. I cannot trust this hotel. Now also after having visited the island and Tubod beach I’m really glad we did not get to stay here. This resort is western owned and has taken over the whole beach which makes it very difficult for anyone else to be able to enjoy this beautiful stretch of beach and marine life.

Service is excellent. Dine on the sand under the coconut trees. Clean rooms and grounds. Strong AC in all the rooms. The best part is the first class spa. It's like you've been transported to the jungle of Bali. Classy. Serene. Spiritual. Top notch place.

My husband and I just left after a 6 day visit at Coco Grove. We had an AMAZING time. The entire staff made us feel at home And so patient with our 101 questions! From the bartender who figured out our favorite drink to the personal care we received on an excursion (I could go on & on) Breathtaking views! Manicure grounds and spotless rooms. It was an experience of a life time, Thank you ps.....be sure and visit "Shaka"

Super pretty resort. It's very big. Has three swimming pools and lots of guests Took us by surprise. Was expecting a more intimate experience. Lots of rules about swimming in ocean from their beach. During low tide you're only allowed to sit in ocean, no swimmingif you snorkeled you pay 100 pesos. But only can snorkel certain hours Snorkeling is good tho once you can do it The included breakfast is very good Eggs Benedict Filipino bangus We ate at nearby restaurants that were much cheaper Tambayanan Cafe Burger (soso) lumpia (ok), sizzling Bangus (amazing) Fuego Island Pancit Bihon Guisado Kinilaw

We were told it is one of the first resort in the island. Despite this it still is well-maintained and clean. It has 3 Olympic-sized pools and a calm, white sand beach that stretches far and safe for kids. They have 3 dining areas for breakfast, one by the front desk, the other 2 are beachfront perfect for watching the sunset at dinner. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Special mention Rosello of Salamandas restaurant who booked our spa and tried to assist us when I thought we lost our key card. Three areas they have to improve on, though. 1- Need more generator for instances of brownout. We were there for 3 nights and all 3 nights we experienced brownout. My husband couldn't get a restful sleep as he couldn't use his CPAP. 2- Front desk number should be on the Property Map that they hand out upon check in and on the room phone itself. 3- Front desk can be more responsive. When the restaurant called for our "lost" key card, we didn't hear from them for a while until I myself went to the front desk and saw our key card there. We also requested for a replacement towel for the one they took when they did their housekeeping and didn't get one until we followed it up twice the next day. All in all it was still a great experience. I will still stay in the property when in the area and recommend it to family and friends.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beach resort in Siquijor, Philippines! It's a beautiful and exclusive resort worthy of a five-star rating! The rooms are lovely and impeccably designed and well-appointed with all the creature comforts a tourist can ever want! From the service to the ambience and feel of the resort, it is worth every penny! The cabins and cottages are spread out throughout the property, through meandering walkways littered with lush tropical landscape! There are varying types of rooms for every style of traveler--from regular hotel rooms to cottages and villas. There are three pools, a gift shop, and a cozy spa--massage services are moderately priced! There is free breakfast at their beach front restaurant--just remember that it is a tropical resort, so don't expect fine dining or a great wine selection (which was very limited). They offer opportunities to snorkel and dive or tour the island on their private tuk-tuks for a modest price! Airport transportation is provided and you will be welcomed with a sign with your name on it and a refreshing fruit drink! But most of all, just great, friendly and very helpful staff! You will notice their charming smiles right away, and for one night a week, you will be treated to a show which includes a tribal fire dance and a song performance by the staff! It is paradise!

Coco grove and agoda double booked our villa, and they wasn't very helpful in fixing the situation. After 2.5 hours of going back and forth, they finally offered us a beach front villa which is very small and smelled awful compared to the Lotus villa that we paid for and booked.. after we refused that beach front villa and requested a refund. They only gave us 7k out of 19k. Even if we took the beachfront villa, we had to check out and find somewhere else to stay for our 2nd night seeing how that room was already booked.. and us checking out and finding a new room was gonna be impossible since we had a photoshoot planned from 3am-9pm. I'm gonna be contacting my bank to this the rest of the money because that's complete bullshit. They also kept saying it's my fault that it was double booked and that I had to call agoda even tho I'm international and don't got a phone to use. I even offered to call them with their landline and they refused me on that. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. They only seemed helpful after I told them I'm gonna leave a bad review for them. Also after reading a couple different reviews. This is 110% a real review. I got recordings of them blaming me as a customer for it being double booked, also got the managers name(Joy). I will continue to post my experience all over, so that way others know how crappy the customer service at the front desk is. The only nice person and understanding person was the bellman/doorman. I think Jason? He was the only one to understand and want to try to help us out even tho he was limited on what he could do.

Ignore the one star reviews. They are clearly fake, like most of the reviews on TripAdvisor these days. Coco grove was awesome. The beach is clean, snorkelling is great and you're not pestered by hawkers like other island beaches (such as aloha beach in Bohol). By the way aloha beach in Bohol is a dump and best avoided. We had a week at coco grove with no complaints at all. Service was impeccable and the quality of food was brilliant. It's true that you're paying double compared to restaurants on the street above, however you're also getting at least double the quality. The pools were well maintained. Our room (above the dive shop) was nice, spacious and clean. It's a great spot and we would happily recommend it to others. Thanks.

The sunset restaurant within the resort is worthy of one star. The service was extremely poor compared to every other restaurant I have been to in Siquijor. The staff did not pay attention to the guests and I had to wait a long time to get my meal and then was not given the bill until asked for it. At a place like this you would expect much better service, it is something that needs to be approved on. If you decide to go to the restaurant do not expect fast service or helpful servers.

I really liked this place everyone was extremely helpful and very friendly. Not to mention the place is beautiful! The only bad thing I didn't like was the place is huuuge so if you forget something in your room you're in for an extremely long walk.Thats not going to stop me from coming back. The staff went the extra mile to make sure I was able to get my phone fixed and picked up for my ferry at 2 to Bohol from Siquijor town which is kind of far away. Amazing staff! I seriously cannot wait to come visit you all again. They remembered my wife and I names within the two days we were there and made us feel like family. I will be back. You cant bring food back in from out side the resort FYI. At least in sight

The ambiance of the place is very good. Lots of trees and the beach is really inviting. Their rooms are really spacious and homey. The entertainment by the beach especially at night is very much nice to listen to. They offer guests hotel transfers to and from the pier. They also handle bookings for your sea trip home. Food is good.
