We had a few visits here, the fiesta night was amazing, great shows and they put a lot of effort into it. We also called one night for a drink and there was a fire show on which was brilliant

Excellent location and hospitality. We enjoyed our stay and felt we were central to everything. We were walking distance to some incredible food places, and bike riding distance to the beach. We used the pool quite a bit! It was always clean, which was nice. The pool is big enough to Lounge or do laps, if you’re looking for a workout. We stayed in the garden room view, which felt nice…as if we had our own little villa. The only complaint I have is that the room did not have a fridge, however, the staff helped us by providing ice! So we were able to keep our drinks cold. Breakfast in the morning includes eggs and bread, as well as coffee and juice. Overall, we felt safe and well taken care of. The price was very reasonable and my family and I loved it. We will definitely be back in the future!

We are back home after spending 10 nights at the Coco Hacienda Tulum. Staying such an extended period of time allowed us to get a real feel for the property. To be honest, we didn't want to leave. We stayed in an Oasis bungalow at the rear (away from the swimming pools) of the property, which allowed us a bit more privacy. It had a cute little balcony with a small table and hammock. Two pools to choose from and plenty of private areas to exercise and or read a book. The accommodations were perfect, roomy bathroom, comfortable bed. One tip for management is make sure to run the water in the hot tubs occasionally. We tried to run the tub once and a lot of caulk had built up in the plumbing, so unfortunately had to pass. Service/personnel, breakfast (you can only choose from one of three 3 breakfast dishes daily, which we thought was a little disappointing but understandable considering the number of guests), cocktails, the property itself were wonderful. Being surrounded by so much nature really provides that extra bit of repose. Important for us was the property is located just outside the touristic, chaotic section of the main Tulum drag. But be aware that because of the building frenzy Tulum is currently undergoing, there is substantial street noise to heard throughout night, so bring ear plugs.

I decided to celebrate my birthday here and it was the best decision ever! The Staff where so friendly and professional, the site is beautiful, and the rooms are amazing and wonderfully unique. The food in the adjacent restaurant so fresh and delicious and the chief is a genius! Thank you to all the Staff for being so accommodating and warm to all of my invited birthday guests. Mr. Chris you are a superstar !!!! A short ride to the Tulum ruins, the beach, cenotes, or the fantastic Mystika Museum. This place is worth the price, and location, and most of all the service :) Gracias por mi revivificación :)

Beautiful hotel with an amazing staff. This was my first time leaving the US and they made this such a great experience for me. The place was really clean, the pools and landscape were beautiful, and the food was delicious. The room itself was very spacious and the jacuzzi tub was the perfect touch. We treated ourselves to massages and it was absolutely worth it. The staff was really helpful in getting us a taxi when needed and making sure we knew where to go. My only minor complaint is that the room did not have a fridge so we had no way to keep food or drinks cold. I still give them 5 stars because if this is the ONLY downside, that’s still pretty good. We will absolutely stay here again next time we visit. Thank you everyone at Coco Hacienda!

This is one of the best hotels that I've ever been to. The decoration and the quality of everything in the room and common areas is remarkable. The service was impressive, from the receptionist to everyone serving breakfast. The food tasted amazing, comfort food, and every morning there was something different to enjoy, the gardens are truly impressive, this property was a plant nursery and you can see the love and dedication they put in each corner of the gardens. The rooms are named by the closest trees. It seems that the owners paid attention to every detail, like they have thought of everything the guests might need or like. The location is perfect just in the centre of Tulum Town close to restaurants and bars, caffes… The 2 pool area are an intimate spot to finish your days relaxed and the included spa is very complete with a jacuzzi, dry sauna, steam room, etc.

We stayed at the Coco Hacienda for a week as part of our honeymoon trip. It seems like most guests stay for around 2-3 nights but if we had only booked a few nights, we would certainly want to stay longer! It's a very small hotel so the team are able to reach out to you before the trip to check if you need any special assistance, which is a nice personal touch. They helped us with booking transfers to and from Cancun airport, which I appreciated as I was a little worried about this part (being my first time in Mexico).||When we arrived, we learnt that the second pool was unavailable due to construction work which I was a initially disappointed about in case the main pool was busier but I needn't worry as there was hardly anyone there and my friends/family asked if it was a private pool after seeing photos! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and full of plants/wildlife and the food was really nice (they provide breakfast daily and we had lunch there a couple of times too). ||The rooms are as they appear in photos... Spacious and clean, with a large bed, air conditioning and ours had a big bathtub (they supply bath salts, bubble bath, shampoo, conditioner etc). The only downside that I must comment on is that, due to the straw type roof, it is very noisy in the room because the hotel is located just off the main road. I don't think this would be ideal for those who struggle to sleep in noisier conditions but they do supply earplugs and I must say that I did get used to it after a couple of nights. The only other downside was that there was no fridge in the room so we couldn't bring back beers from the shop or keep our water cold. In the absence of a room fridge, I think the hotel should at least keep chilled bottled water in the reception area for guests as the only other option if you run out of water is to go to the nearest shop or pharmacy. ||Location was good and all shops, bars and restaurants were walkable from the hotel (about 10 minutes or so to get to the main part of town) but the beach is not nearby. We rented bicycles from the hotel but it took about 25-30 mins to cycle to the beach which was guarded by restaurants and beach clubs. Seemed like the sea was full of seaweed too so we just turned around and cycled back again. ||Overall, we had a fantastic stay. The staff were all very helpful and attentive and I would recommend to anyone wanting to explore Tulum or just catch some sun and relax!

They failed to tell us about an extremely loud music festival happening in the area that literally had us up all evening. Though they did agree to let us change rooms, the noise was unbearable. The manager was extremely unprofessional when we complained and started sending us threats. and photos of ourselves through their security camera. Really, really sketchy. ||This place was a nightmare. We ended up changing hotels. Loved Tulum, but will never return to Coco Hacienda - not surprised they are listed as temporarily closed.
