"This hotel takes sustainable hospitality to another level: it’s carbon negative, almost entirely plastic-free, and if you book a room on the hotel’s website, it will donate a tree on your behalf." - Travel + Leisure Editors
"Located in the center of the lively Vesterbro neighborhood, this 88-key boutique property epitomizes what so many people like about Copenhagen. Interiors feature bright, cheerful pops of color. The vibe is youthful — there’s a dedicated ping-pong space on the 5th floor — but not overly hip. There’s an all-day café with an outdoor courtyard, and an atmospheric wine bar. Best of all, there’s light and air, and an all-around feeling of well-being that makes our readers want to return. “Great hotel at a very nice location,” remarked one voter." - Travel + Leisure Editors
"Coco Hotel is the hottest new spot in Denmark's capital city. Not only was it voted as the best hotel in Copenhagen by T+L readers in 2022, it also was named one of the best new hotels in the world in 2022 by T+L editors. The 88-room boutique hotel features bold colors, a European-style cafe, and complimentary bikes for guests. It also makes an effort to be green-conscious, planting a fruit tree somewhere around the world every time a guest checks in and running its facility on a private solar-powered grid." - Maya Kachroo-Levine Maya Kachroo-Levine Maya Kachroo-Levine is the digital senior editor at Travel + Leisure. "Opened at the beginning of 2020 by the restaurant group Cofoco (Copenhagen Food Collective), Coco Hotel has 88 rooms featuring the clean lines of Danish furniture with bright pops of blue and green that will transport you to the south coast of France. Of course, the hotel’s Café Coco that spills out onto the central courtyard is worth visiting for coffee and light bites during the day or a glass of natural wine in the evening. In terms of sustainability, the hotel doesn’t stop at using organic linens and avoiding plastic bottles in its rooms. As with all Cofoco restaurants, the hotel is powered using sustainable energy sourced from the company’s own solar park in Nees, Denmark." - Lyndsey Matthews
