The man working there was probably one of the kindest souls I have ever met. We are visiting new york and were walking around for around an hour in the pouring rain. We came in to the store to find a place to get eat and the kind man gave us free towels as we were drenched and truly was so helpful. The best service I have ever had, even not having spent a dime! Thank you so much

We visited the store yesterday and had an exceptional experience. James helped us during our visit, and he was absolutely amazing. He guided us in finding the perfect pillows and was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. His warm approach made us feel completely at ease. We’re genuinely impressed with the quality of the products and the customer service from both James and his colleague. We can’t wait to add more Coco-Mat pieces to our home and shop at this location again (“the only Coco-Mat in the world open on Sundays!”).

We went to coco mats on a stormy day seeking shelter. A really kind gentleman came to our rescue and offered us great guality towels for free. Best service I have ever seen in my life.

I only come to COCO-MAT for one reason: to take a Sputnik Yoga class. Not only does the yoga class helps me relax and keep my body alive but also enables me to socialize with other fellow yoga "classmates." Plus, the mirrors and all that luxurious interior design of it are so pleasing to my eyes.

Went to coco-mat to pick out a pillow for my partner and had the best experience! Macy was the most helpful, clearly knowledgeable of the products, and went above and beyond offering the best service possible. We definitely recommend the soho store and as someone who owns a number of coco-mat products, I can vouch for their quality too!

I wish I could rate more than 5 stars. The 2 owners are the best. Even if you don't buy anything, they will offer you tea and chat with you. They even have some very helpful tourist destinations! Probably the 2 friendliest guys in all of New York.

After weeks of searching for the right mattress, I finally opted for Coco-Mat's organic mattresses, and I'm so glad I did. The quality is exceptional, and the comfort level is beyond anything I've experienced. My back feels fully supported, and I can tell this mattress is built to last. While it's a bit more expensive than other options, the combination of lasting quality, comfort, and eco-friendly materials truly makes it a worthwhile investment. I'm getting a great night's sleep every night!

Unfortunately, a Coco-Mat bed system was the worst purchase I have ever made. And after you buy it, that's it. You're stuck with it. I really wanted to splurge on a great bed system. I figured, this is an investment that I will make in my sleep and my health for a long time. But the beds are TRASH. After just a few nights, the mattress makes a depression from your body and does not support it--the way a cheap mattress that's 15 years old does. This after *a few nights*. Flipping the mattress does nothing, the same problem happened later. So my bed is lumpy, uneven and hard. Another issue is that I didn't just get the mattress--I also got the bed system underneath it. What you never realize before you get it is that the bed mattress is completely un-upholstered. So it's like you have a bare box-spring that you can't cover unless you get bedskirts. And they don't offer their own bedskirts, and they are surprisingly hard to find! You can perhaps upholster the bed frame, but upholstery is another crazy charge that no one offers or tells you about. It's a service that Coco-Mat offers, but with a huge price tag. And the problem with that is that if you ever change your sheet color you're stuck with the one fabric you chose to upholster your bedframe. There really isn't an easy or straightforward solution. A lot of people mention Zografos here. He definitely took the time to sell me on a mattress that costs as much as a car. And I'm such a gullible schmuck I actually bought it. Yes, it was crazy comfy in the store. But was it *that* much more comfortable than anything else? No! I thought though, that what I was getting was a company that would be willing to make its customers happy and make their lives easy. But it's exactly the opposite. I hate this thing. I can't get rid of it, and it's such a huge annoying hassle. I wish I had gotten a normal mattress! I have one from Parachute in my guest bedroom and it's awesome, gets delivered right to your door and isn't some absurd, fancy product that is a nightmare to deal with. Don't ever think that luxury or expensive equals ease or convenience or even quality. It's such a stupid racket. Don't ever get Coco-Mat.

I had had enough after waking up with neck pain for the last week. It was time to consider a new pillow. I fell in love with Coco-Mat after sleeping on Coco-Mat mattresses while traveling in the Greek Islands so I figured I start there. My husband and I walked in on a quiet Sunday afternoon and were immediately greeted by two employees. We had the pleasure of working with Zografos. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the products and brand ethos. He was so patient with my indecisiveness which I truly appreciate. Who wants to be sold anymore? I certainly don't. We both bought new pillows which we are excited about. They are completely customizable! Who else offers that? We cannot wait to add a Coco-Mat mattress to our sleep in another year or so. This is an awesome store featuring the coziest yet pricey mattresses & all to do with bedding. Great space & vibe.

After being invited to a reception at the SOHO store I was disgusted when I was racially profiled by one of the employees who asked me to prove I was supposed to be there by showing him my invitation to the reception. After I did so, I left, feeling singled out made me feel completely uncomfortable. Is a shame because I do like the concept of the all natural bed. But now. I wouldn't even purchase a tissue from this company. #goodgonebad

I purchased a Coco mat 1 year ago and have regretted that since I made the purchase. At first my family was attracted to the natural and eco friendly product and the seemingly helpful staff. However we had problems almost immediately. The bed performed well for a few weeks but the support would collapse to the point of being unfit to sleep on within a few weeks. At first support was terrible however after their inspectors came they confirmed a problem with the bed. They replaced the sleep system with a new system and again had problems with the bed staying level and providing support. After they replaced the system twice (both times acknowledging problems) they said sorry but there are no problems so good luck. For such a premium sleep system I find the quality of the product and that integrity to resolve the problem both unacceptable. Don't be food by Coco mat. You will regret it every night.

I had an awesome time here tonight! Everything about this place is nicely put together and well polished. The space is very spread out and open, giving an awesome overall feel and the bedding looked very soft and comforting. I came by for the 10th Anniversary tonight and there were some people having a casual chat, while laying on a bed, that made myself and others wish we had done the same because they looked so comfortable. On too of this, they had some great cookies on deck, awesome drinks, and lively gift bags, so I can definitely see myself stopping by again :)

I used to live up the street from the store but finally made my way in this past week. I wish I had ventured in sooner! I found an amazing pillow (Sithon I) and have really enjoyed sleeping on it the past two nights. Before making my purchase, Zografos took his time walking me through the different products they sell and what makes their brand different. I liked being able to see and touch the different components of the pillows and found the natural latex flakes to be best suited for my needs. My pillow needs no adjusting when I get in bed thanks to the way it's constructed (a neck roll a cross the bottom and three vertical sections to cradle the head) and I like that should I decide I need more or less support I can remove filling myself or go to the store and have more filling added! I personally don't have allergies but I appreciate the fact that they have virgin wool hypoallergenic options as well. Even though I'm not in the market for a bed right now, I must say their four layer bed was SUPER comfortable (I lied down on it to try out the pillow) and I'd love to roll into it every night. They have a lot of customizable options to create the right bed for you and even allow customers to make an appointment to sleep on a bed for a few hours in a beautiful private room down stairs (with a bathroom)! I think they have other locations but if you're planning a trip to the Soho area and want to upgrade your sleep situation, definitely stop in. The store is beautiful, the tea is yummy, and Zografos is is very pleasant and helpful.

I live in FL and wanted to order some pillows that I had tried in Greece, I was pleasantly amazed not only was Jemelia so accommodating and helpful she made my ordering experience so easy that I look forward to ordering more things with her in the future. The pillows needless to say are amazing for my severe neck issues, and I am so happy to enjoy pain free nights of sleep once again like I had enjoyed in Greece.

My wife and I were looking for some new home furnishings for our new apartment, and were very intrigued by the natural, organic gear that CoCo Mat has to offer. And we were not disappointed at all - the products, from their beds down to the pillows and bedsheets are all top notch quality. We ended up going home with two beautiful new rugs, as well as some pillows and bed sheets. They fit our place perfectly and it feels great walking around on the high quality rugs on our bare feet :) Special shout out to Nicos and Maylene for helping us throughout the whole process - they were informative, answered all of our questions, and made sure we were able to see a large selection of the items we were interested in. Very helpful people. We will be returning to CoCo Mat for more goodies soon!

This is by far the best mattress store in the universe. I spent six grueling months searching for a truly organic mattress, and was given a lot of crazy (false) information until I was pointed to COCO-MAT. Alicia, the manager of the shop, went above and beyond the call of duty to meet all my needs. I had questions galore and she answered every one of them completely and honestly. I also had been suffering from lower back pain from my "too soft" mattress, and Alicia and her entire team totally hooked me up. I LOVE THEM! And my back pain is gone, gone gone!!!!! I would also like to add that without the guidance of Brad and Stelios I would not be sleeping on the mattress of my dreams. They helped me make all the adjustments I needed to find the perfect fit. They are extraordinary.

My husband and I had been complaining about our mattress for nearly a year, but we didn't realize how much we had been suffering until we began trying out new prospective mattresses. We actually fell in love with the Coco-Mat mattress and their bedding products by accident, having randomly stopped by the store one afternoon as we were walking along Mercer Street. The store is visually beautiful and welcoming. We tried out a couple of mattresses and learned more about the company's products and their philosophy. Coco-Mat set the bar for us in terms of what type of mattress we would consider purchasing--eco-friendly, super comfortable, and made by a company with a good corporate social responsibility philosophy. We ultimately chose a competitor brand for a mattress (which also met our criteria), but this was due only to price. The decision was not easy. In fact, we returned to the store two more times to try the mattress, but ultimately, we decided that the Coco-Mat was just out of our price range at the time. As a compromise, however, we did end up purchasing other bedding products. Sheryl, the sales representative who assisted us throughout the process was extremely friendly and helpful, and most importantly, very patient. She epitomized what great customer service should be like for any store and Coco-Mat is lucky to have her as an employee! Overall, we loved the store and had a very pleasant experience there.

I am very excited to experience this mattress. I had a great shopping experience and I know I have made an great investment in wonderful sleep. My sales person was Jemelia and she was incredible. She has fantastic knowledge on the beds and made my decision so easy. I will receive the mattress system next week! I can't wait.

Incredible products, recently stopped by the soho location and Charles introduced me to all of their products. Really good guy. The only thing I would change is the rule about jumping on the beds.

Have bought two mattresses is the past. Had problems with both after a few years, well short of the warranty period and the company never accepted responsibility and never honoured warranty.

Finally, my search for a natural pillow is over. Helpful and patient staff were great while I tried out different pillows (I appreciated the individual towel they put on the sample pillows to keep things sanitary). Really love the customization of the natural rubber pillow (as firm or soft as you like). Amazing service and great product!

Ran across this store as I was shopping in Soho. I've been looking to purchase a new pillow for my neck pain. This place makes custom pillows for your specific sleep position. Price ranges are $75-$200. Ola the sales person was extremely helpful. She was very knowledgable and had me sold. Best purchase I've ever made. They also ship which was great since I live in Los Angeles. As I was sitting she offered me a variety of drinks and I chose OJ. She came back out with freshly squeezed orange juice. Such a nice treat while shopping. Overall my experience was great and I recommend anyone looking to invest in a new pillow or mattress to come check them out !

I'm writing this review because reading the other reviews helped me make a decision to buy a coco-mat mattress and topper. I happened to find the store, not knowing anything about it, when I was wandering around Soho one day (and I've been desperately needing a new mattress after 30 years or more on my lumpy one). Immediately I was greeted with Fresh orange juice, which I needed, and delicious snacks and the warmest people I could imagine...Alecia and Stelios. It was so much fun and the beds I tried were so incredible that i brought my partner on our next trip to NYC (I live up in the MA countryside). We tried the beds and were amazed at the comfort, and then we were able to spend a night on the bed I was considering, which totally convinced me! I'd been looking locally and online to find an organic bed, but reading about this company's director and his commitment to the environment and to truly organic materials, convinced me. And I tried a really good mattress up in a local store and considered it but it just didn't feel like the Coco-Mat. And though they are very nice up here, Stelios who became my salesperson and truly like a friend (he is so sweet!!) with his low-key responses to my many many questions, and no pressure salesmanship was so different from anything else I've ever experienced. Anyhow, I can 100 per cent recommend this store and their products. I'll write after a month sleeping on my bed to confirm that it is life-changing as Stelios promised!! I wondered if the good reviews I'd seen were fake, but I can tell you that I'm just a real person, age 68, who wanted to find a mattress to last the rest of my life. I really recommend going to their store down in Soho if you are in NY. It is different from any other mattress place I've looked at. UPDATE: After two amazingly helpful guys came with the mattress and set it up, took away the old one (which involved hacking the box springs to pieces outside my house), and took my wood frame from another bedroom and set it up in my bedroom.....I wondered, "will it really be as great as it seems." It's only been about 10 days, but I don't have to wait till the end of the month to say that the promise that it would "change my life," is true. No pain when I wake up, not stiff, no longer stuffed up every night and morning. I LOVE my Coco-Mat mattress and topper and only wish I had bought it years ago. It's amazing. I'm a real person and I don't usually post reviews, but this bed is so fabulous I want everyone who can afford it to know!! I also got a side sleeper pillow which I love (I put it under a soft down pillow that I already had. So so happy I finally made the decision!

Coco-mat is an amazing store with a great selection of top of the line eco-friendly luxury bedding! Zografos was incredibly patient, professional and knowledgeable in helping me find what I was looking for. I can't say enough about Coco-Mat Soho. I'll be back for sure!

Cool concept improving the variety of options in shopping-heavy SoHo.

I bought a Coco-Mat mattress in September, and it was worth every cent. The staff was sincerely interested in helping me find the right mattress for my body, and they did not try to "sell" me on anything. It is really hard to see them as sales people because they are so polite and patient and benevolent. It may sound silly, but this mattress changed my life. I attributed feeling out of sorts and exhausted in the morning to all kinds of things, but I never imagined that my mattress was the problem. Within three nights of sleeping on the Coco-Mat, all my physical problems disappeared. These are first quality products and a first quality company. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Eco friendly mattresses and pillows. They're hand made from Greece. I was very happy with the customer service. Brad answered all my questions and was patient with me and my silly wonderings. Aylisha is also very awesome. They are very kind and flexible. Aylisha made sure I was comfortable with my purchase and offered free delivery for the exchange I made when I felt that the original mattress I bought was too hard for me. She switched it out for me and even held onto the old one in case I have a hard time deciding if I like the Atlas or the Nefilli more. Every option was a great option. The delivery company was also awesome. They were so professional and helpful. They took off their shoes entering my house without me even asking! Everyone knew what they were talking about. Cocomat has a variety of options to fit every type of sleep style. I'm very happy with my purchase. If you have allergies or back issues like me, I definitely recommend cocomat. Aylisha asked my weigh and immediately knew what would work for me at the top of her head. A very high end store.

these mattresses look very attractive, contemporary and very different from most others on the market - very "euro". interesting product but difficult to verify its claims of comfortable sleep through "elasticity" - compared to what? - a concrete slab? sleep on coconut hair and seaweed doesn't attract bed bugs? really? how can the company prove this claim? the biggest problem with this company is they just can't deliver - literally - how about being told "next week" for the last four months.
