Take us back! Coco Plum is a slice of heaven. From the moment you arrive, you want to pinch yourself to make sure it's real. The location is incredible, the staff was so friendly (in a very real, authentic way), and the food was amazing. I don't know if I've ever felt so relaxed in my life. As gluten-free vegans, they didn't just accommodate our needs - they went above and beyond. Every meal was fantastic, and we found ourselves looking forward to our dining experience. The layout of the resort is so thoughtful. The island is big enough to where you can either enjoy peace and quiet, or socialize/hang out with others. Having easy access to kayaks and paddle boards was awesome. This is a great place to see wildlife in the waters around the island. The room was beautiful and clean. We would not have changed a thing about our stay at Coco Plum. Perfect experience. Can't wait to return someday.

My husband and I stayed at Coco Plum the week of Christmas. We stayed in Pearl and absolutely loved it. The bed was very comfortable and the distance to the main lodge was perfect. The bathroom was spacious and the hot water was excellent. The main pool was wonderful. ||We stayed during a particular rainy week, but we didn't mind. The staff is the real gem of this place! Even though the weather was not the best the bartenders and the wait staff were spectacular. They were happy to help with every request we had and treated us like royalty and friends. When you leave you feel like a part of the family! ||We had a few days of great weather and we took advantage of the paddle boards, snorkeling and the calm water. All wonderful. ||Because of the unusual weather my husband and I visited the Spa twice, which even if the weather is great we would highly recommend. Bella and her staff are absolutely amazing and both my husband and I enjoyed the best massage we have ever had. The ambiance was great, you listen to the waves lapping against the mangroves and the aroma therapy was perfect. ||The one and only downside is there is still some construction that needs to be completed, but we look forward to returning in the future!

We just completed our 5th (annual) stay at this fabulous resort - now known as part of the top 10 in the WORLD! It's such an amazing place with an amazing staff. The accommodations are comfortable and clean. The atmosphere simply begs relaxation. We've had massages, facials, went kayaking, deep sea fishing, and on several of the off island tours. Normally, we never like to visit the same place twice, but we make an exception for Coco Plum - not to be missed - again and again!

We have been visiting Coco Plum for many years and for many reasons. We can depart from Kansas City and be on the beach by 4pm. Familiar faces greet us each visit with hugs and a cold drink. We immediately begin to unwind and venture through the island to see what's new. Over the years our cabana has been our home away from home and our beach had gradually eroded away, until now, the new low profile sea wall along the front of the island has given us our beach back! Plus there are palapas along the sea wall for private chill time. The biggest renovation of all was the brand new kitchen and dining space, and the bar with infinity pool all at the north end replacing the older bar and dining areas. Very impressive construction project on an island! We were able to enjoy the beautiful kitchen and dining area and just missed the new bar by a couple days. I can't wait to spend some time at the bar on my next visit. We really enjoyed the new second bar and pool area at the south end of the island. The staff did a great job checking on us when we would relax in our private palapa or on the pier. One thing about Coco that we enjoy every year is the Serenity Spa. We do our best to schedule 2 or 3 massages each stay. The spa is nestled in the mangroves and over the water adding to the relaxing massage experience, we highly recommend the couples massage! No island trip is complete without getting out on the water. Snorkeling, Diving, Fishing, and Island Hopping are a few of our faves. We are thankful for all the Coco Plum celebrities like Alex, Jude, Robert, Bella, Erv, Shamille, and the many many staff that contribute to making Coco Plum the place we love most. Coco Plum was everything we could've imagined and more! The facilities and amenities were immaculate. The food was great even with allergy accommodations. The staff was incredibly helpful, attentive and felt like family by the end of our stay. We cannot recommend this place enough!

I’m writing this as someone who’s been to Coco Plum Island Resort 14 times, including four full island rentals, plus 10 trips back with just my wife and I. I don’t hesitate at all when I say this: The staff at Coco Plum is hands down the best staff I’ve ever experienced anywhere. And that’s saying something—I’ve traveled to over 30 countries and stayed at more hotels, islands and resorts than I can count.||Alex, the island manager, is incredible. He’s always on top of everything, insanely attentive, and makes sure you know what’s going on on the island, as well as on excursions to the reef or mainland! You feel taken care of from the second you arrive. Behind the bar, Jess and Ervin are amazing. Their cocktails are fantastic and creative, but what really stands out is how they learn your preferences. Before you even think about another drink, they’re already there with one. You can be relaxing in a hammock or at the pool and they will arrive with a fresh drink before your last is empty or warm!! That kind of extra effort and service is rare.||What really sets Coco Plum apart, though, is how quickly the staff feels like family. They’re not just friendly—they genuinely care. Everyone knows your name by Day 2. As they say on Coco Plum, "You're only a stranger when you first arrive"! Nothing can be more true!! The dining staff is always warm, attentive, and on point. The boat Captains Robert and Justin and deck crew, and Allen the Shoreline and Water Sports Manager are phenomenal. Whether you’re fishing, snorkeling, sailing, or diving, every detail is handled. These are just a few people who consistently went above and beyond and made every experience memorable.||And then there’s the food. Coco Plum's Chef Miss Jude and her team are something special. The food is authentic Belizean with presentation that is five-star. Her cooking classes are fun, engaging, and add such a great extra layer to the stay. Also, do yourself a favor and buy her cookbook—she even hand-wrote extra recipes for us based on meals she had cooked during our stay. That kind of personal touch says everything about who she is and why we love her so much!||The recent remodel of the kitchen, dining area, bar, and pool is stunning. We were fearful that the vibe would have changed with such a huge remodel. BUT NO!! They somehow managed to elevate everything to FIVE STAR LUXURY while keeping the exact same laid-back Coco Plum VIBE!! Even with a few finishing touches still in progress, we were blown away the moment we stepped onto the island. The attention to planning really shows, and it’s clear how much care went into it.||Coco Plum Island is, without question, my favorite tropical place in the world. My wife and I travel multiple times every year—historic cities, tropical islands, all over the world. Most places are a one-and-done for us and time for something new. But not Coco Plum! Coco Plum is different. It’s our must-return to destination every year. It’s become an annual tradition for us. And we have even organized 4 Full-Island Rentals over the years so that we could bring friends and family of all ages to witness our special place first hand!!||I know people reading this might think there’s no way it can be this special and amazing. I thought the same thing when I read the reviews before my first visit, 16 years ago. But like most guests, I arrived with really high expectations 16 years ago—and somehow Coco Plum still exceeds them every single time to this day. If you’re thinking about coming here, trust the reviews. This place really is that special.

Absolutely an amazing experience. Note to pack mesquito spray as me and my kids did leave with quite a few bites. Food was the best we've ever enjoyed while on vacation. Staff was over the top friendly and accommodating and the drinks were plentiful. Accommodations were nice. A jacuzzi next to the beautiful new infinity pool would make this resort a 10/10.

On the off chance you aren’t familiar with CocoPlum, they have a well-earned 5.0 rating with over 2,700 reviews. Not only is this an amazing accomplishment but a testament to their great staff. Over the past 3 years, CocoPlum has become a repeat destination and our favorite getaway spot. Having travelled abroad extensively over the years, CocoPlum’s staff by far, is the best we have encountered. They are what makes guests want to return to CocoPlum time and time again. One of the fun things to do while sitting at the bar is to look at all the t-shirts that guests have brought to hang above the bar celebrating their time at CocoPlum. This time however I started noticing the number of plaques that are hung for guests that have visited CocoPlum six times or more. There are 30+ “Hall of Famers” plaques on the wall. That is quite impressive for an island resort! We have visited other resorts, but by far, CocoPlum is our favorite! We are looking forward to seeing the new renovations.
