Just back from an amazing vacation at Coco Shambala. |Coco is an absolutely beautiful place .. a place for an unhurried vacation ... away from all the touristy chaos ... overlooking the pristine Bhogwe beach .. with the highlight being their hospitality.||30 staff members to cater to guests in 4 villas ... that defines their attention to details.|Their sustainability practices are interesting too.||We stayed at Villa Amaresha, one of the four ocean-facing villas. Each villa has two spacious rooms, an open living-cum-dining area, and a stunning infinity pool overlooking the sea. The rooms open out to private balconies and come with large, well-designed attached bathrooms.||Revan and Suhas ensure every guest feels truly cared for. Suhas, who heads F&B, along with his team, creates magic in the kitchen. He curates customised menus for each villa across cuisines, using the finest ingredients. The elaborate spreads were unlike anything I’ve experienced on previous trips—and my vegan preferences were thoughtfully accommodated.||Shravani at the spa was wonderful. Dont miss a date at the spa !!||Coming to the activities, we tried Kayaking (at the mangroves), Dolphin spotting, parasailing, river exploration, visit to Sindudurg fort ... dont miss watching the sunset at the Bhogwe beach right across Coco (the team sets up these beach umbrellas and chairs for a relaxing time at the beach).||Coco is about 1.5 hrs from the MOPA. There is also an airport 15 mins away at Sindhudurg but only Fly 91 operates direct flights from Bangalore .. would perhaps try this route the next time.||Thanks to Revan, Suhas, Dinesh, Vaibhav and the entire team at Coco Shambala for making this trip a truly memorable one.
