Wow, I’m still recovering after visiting this massage parlor—it was incredible. If you’re looking for a clean, quiet environment and a truly deep tissue massage, look no further. One of my biggest concerns after moving from San Francisco was finding a masseur who doesn’t hold back—because, let’s be honest, I want to suffer on that massage table. I’m not the “relax and unwind” type when it comes to massages; for me, it’s all about flushing out the toxins from my muscles. With that in mind, I did my research and came across this spa. After reading the reviews—especially what people were saying about “Petter”—I was convinced I’d found exactly what I was looking for. I called, made an appointment, showed up, and… oh boy, was I right. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re serious about deep tissue massages, this is the spot!

If you like really intense deep tissue massage, then this is the place for you! My masseuse was very skillful and gave me some chiropractor assessments and adjustments. My fav spot in the city is Zu Yuan, but the masseuses there have gotten soft and generic over the years. I would switch to this place going forward. It's just a tad far but taking the LIRR on the weekend isn't too bad. Helps a lot if you speak Chinese, but not a must.

$40 for a full body 60 min massage (with hot stones). I loved my massage, as I felt like my masseuse (Angela) was very knowledgeable. She worked on my back for the most part, and then moved onto my arms and legs. She briefly used the hot stones on my back. Then she told me to turn onto my front and started massaging my scalp and shoulder and neck. She worked on the front of my legs a bit, as well as my arms. I've never had a masseuse massage me on my front, so that was interesting and really makes it a real full body massage - not just a back massage. The way the masseuses massage seem to be pretty consistent as I went with a friend and when we discussed afterward, both masseuses used the same techniques in the same order.

Came by for a massage the other day and it was a world class experience, just like in Asia. Walked into the basement and it appeared sketchy at first, especially since the main entrance is in the basement and entrance is behind a clear curtain. The lobby is a half a dozen foot massage stations with the receptionist further into the parlor. Requested for a 45 minute foot and 15 minute shoulder massage with a masseur and it was excellent. The masseur did a very thorough shoulder massage over a towel and was very strong. The masseur wore a mask covering the mouth only. The foot massage itself was also decent with strong pressure after the warm foot bath. The masseur did the foot massage by dipping his bare hands into the bottle of lotion numerous times during the session. The session ended off with a hot towel in the open area. $35/hour for a 45 minute foot + 15 minute shoulder massage + tip.

Didn't plan on stopping here for a massage so I dropped in but I was lucky and they were able to accommodate me in 10 minutes. Environment was calm and clean. MUST TRY: 60min massage for $40. My masseuse and I communicated through my very limited knowledge of Mandarin but it was still fantastic. She massaged from scalp down to calves. They start with massaging over a towel and then move onto massaging with oil. This also includes the hot stone treatment, warm smooth stone that they run across your back and upper arms with slight pressure Location is perfect, walked right down the road and Flushing is alive with markets, shopping, and restaurants.

Have been going here for a decade clean friendly staff even if the masseuse barely speak English the guys at the front speak English and explain to the masseuse where we have more pain and to focus.

It's tucked away a bit in Flushing, but I had absolutely amazing service when I came here! I came for a back massage on the first day and a foot massage on the second. The masseuses were polite, professional, and very receptive to my requests. Most if not all staff are bilingual. The spa is super clean and comfortable and I felt at home when I walked in. I'd definitely recommend everyone to get the back massage, since they add in a hot stone treatment and it's super soothing. This is going to be a go-to every time I visit Queens

Excellent massage spa in Flushing. Treated my girlfriend to couples massage, she prefers very strong, me not so much. Both massages were perfect, each therapist was very good. GF added cupping on back.. they also had a nice feet massage set up. Basement location but very clean and inviting. Will definitely return.

I had the best massage I've ever had today. I've had massages previously and have always been disappointed because no matter how many times I ask them to push harder, it's never feels enough for me. Thankfully, today was different and my male masseuse was amazing. Not only was my 60 minute full body massage incredible, the prices were also extremely reasonable ($40 plus tip). I called that morning for an appointment, and they were able to fit me in 1.5 hours later. The only confusing part was when I was first placed in a room, they didn't tell me what to do or where/which direction to lay, so I had to come back out to clarify. I will definitely be back in the future whenever I visit NY to get a massage and will try the foot massage too.

I love coco Spa I alway have great experience. I entered having arm pain and the massage therapist was right in point. John is my therapist he taking care whatever I need . I did back and arm massage for 2 hours and it was painful but is a good way. And now I don't feel the pain as much. The prices are great and affordable Thank you John, see you again in two week

I've been here before on a weekday evening without an appointment and had a fine experience. I planned to come back on a weekend and called in advance to book a 60 minute foot rub. When I was on the phone, I asked them if they needed my information twice and the person on the phone said, "no don't worry I have your phone number". I arrived on Sat for my appointment and there was no record of my appointment. To make a frustrating situation even worse, the person supporting the counter was unapologetic and served attitude. There's plenty of other foot reflexology places in Flushing with great service. This was not it.

I really wish I could give this place more than 5-stars because they absolutely deserve it! There's really no place in town that's a better value than Coco. I used to frequent this place with my dentist coworkers and it was always such a treat after a long day of work. Although it's a no-frills-looking place, the massage therapists here REALLY know what they're doing and put in a lot of effort and strength into your massages. I love deep tissue massages and these guys and gals really give a strong massage. Of course, you can always ask them to go lighter if you can't tolerate too much pressure on your back. This might not be everyone's cup of tea especially if you're used to Swedish or relaxation massages. Please remember to tip them well because the prices are already super low and they honestly deserve every penny!

I have to say I have found my go to massage spot in flushing. A friend of mine had called to make a reservation for our party of 3 prior to our arrival. This being my first time getting a full body massage I did not know what to expect but boy did I feel relieved after. Although I didn't get the masseuse's name, she definitely helped get some of the knots out of my back! Giving a 4 star for this place because the service and pricing is amazing, however the ambiance of the place is a little sketchy so I reserved a star. For the price of $30 you get a full body massage for an WHOLE HOUR! And I believe the requirement is to give a $10 tip which is not bad at all. Compared to other massage places, you can easily pay $60+ not including tips for an hour of full body massage. Let's keep in mind that the full body massage comes with a oil rub AND hot rocks.

I can't speak for a body massage here, but the foot massages are top quality. The receptionist speaks English, so don't worry when booking appointments :) I don't know the specific names of the men that massaged me, but it's consistent. Just mention to them if they're too strong / if it hurts. They will lighten the pressure.

So my masseuse was incredible. Super amazing job with reflexology and working out every sore muscle. These folks clearly are talented and professional. Lacking one star because it just looks ugly and boring inside.

So once you get past the shady entrance and staircase and into the entrance, it's nice with modern decor and fairly clean. However, the 2 guys who massaged my husband and me were incredibly rough to the point of fairly long lasting pain. They rushed and didn't care to slow down, refused to be gentle, and wouldn't listen to us when asked to not go so rough. In fact they laughed and got much amusement from our pain both during and afterwards. I should've got up and walked out halfway through. Never again.

Massage was good and at very good price. I gave my masseuse a 20% tip. He showed it to the cashier and the cashier told me tip is usually 33%. I felt pressured as these two men were looking at me. I gave the 33% but felt robbed. I know their price point is low but intimidating a customer to tip more is not good business practice.

I really wanted to love it here but I wasn't too pleased. The manager was really great and so were the masseurs in terms of friendliness and professionalism. I booked it same day for 5pm. They asked my boyfriend and I if we wanted separate rooms, offered water and instructed us how to prepare for the massage. However, the massage itself was too rough. They were very conscious of the pressure and asked if I was comfortable when they felt my body tense or jerk (my boyfriends masseur as well). It was just too many moments of pain for me that veered as uncomfortable more than the usual pains of a massage. I've had massages before in a variety of spas so I know they can hurt. However, it was just too much. The best part was the ending because they used the hot stones for about two minutes and literally because I just felt uncomfortable coming toward the end. I left feeling good but had certain pains here and there as did my boyfriend. The next day (today) I'm experiencing pain more than when I went in. My boyfriend too..He actually had a bruise on his arm after the massage which was unsettling. Mixed feelings about this.

This is like my ultimate go to spot, when i know I am full of knots. Where do i begin, today felt a burning sensation on my back. Stress is a big factor and of course ones posture. So, headed on out from a long work day step in and I walk out brand new. Ker (Qr) i am sorry unsure of the spelling of his name but this man fixed me up. Ker (QR) made sure that my right hand side of my back where all the tension was at dissolve any knot possible. I dont man its like he knew what hurt, where it connected. Ive been coming here for years. Still amazing every time. Please tip generous, they work hard. Recommend recommend always.

Honestly, you can't beat the price for a one hour, full body massage anywhere. Coco Spa offers the best price in all of Queens, and there isn't one masseuse that I've gotten that I didn't like. You can get an oil massage and hot stone treatment for $30, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. If you're looking to save a couple of bucks, and you're okay with the spa not being as upscale as what you'd find in Manhattan, then I would recommend Coco Spa if you're in Flushing. Also, as a general rule, please make sure you tip your masseuses! They work really hard to provide a good experience to their clients, and it really pains me when people don't tip enough just because the massage itself is inexpensive. I usually tip $10 for the hour massage. Enjoy!

It will always be a hit or miss for massage places and I can say it is the same thing for Coco Spa. I've been here for a total of 3 times now and honestly have had only 1 really good visit. I can tell you that that one visit was a REALLLLYYY good experience and I had to ask for the name of the masseuse who worked on me. (Will most definitely request for her in the future.) I personally prefer woman masseuse and have only requested female masseuse BUT I have heard that the male masseuses are extremely good as well. I highly recommend a woman named Lisa. She was able to hit every. single. knot. in my back. Her technique was amazing and I could see the hard work she puts in to make me feel at ease. From time to time, she would make sure that her pressure is not too much. This place is also pretty cheap compared to other places. It is $30 for 1 hour full body massage and then a standard $10 tip. I am also considering getting the gift certificate - Buy 10 times for $300 and getting 2 times for free. What a steal! I definitely recommend this place and will continue to come back!

Visiting from Boston with friends. We've been walking all day and 4 of us was a walk in, we waited for about 15 mins for an hour foot rub. and was seated once the stations are set up. The tech, will have you soak your feet in a bucket lined with plastic and hot water to release the tight muscles in your feet. And then the Magic happens. My tech was kind enough to to put a blanket over my lap as I have short shorts on. They are quite nice and clean. Don't worry about those front stairs. I promise this place doesn't disappoint

Made reservation on the same day and was happy to get in quite easily. Though they get packed and walk-ins on weekends are definitely not recommend. Specify if you prefer male or female if you have a preference. They take credit card and charges credit card fee or cash without fee. The pressure was great as I prefer hard massage, will definitely return.

I came here on the weekend after making a reservation with my boyfriend. We both opted for a 60 minute body massage and 30 minute foot massage. We arrived and were told there would be a 10 minute wait which ended up being 30 minutes, but as we were not in any rush, I didn't mind too much. We were eventually showed to the back, not really given any instruction and placed in a room. Because of prior massage knowledge, I knew to strip down, but was unsure where to lay down so I ended up putting my feet where my head was supposed to go. Highly unappealing. The massage itself was great and super relaxing. The masseuse was great at working out the knots in my back and I felt very rejuvenated afterwards. Boyfriend was also very pleased with his massage as well. The foot massage was absolutely divine and my feet felt wonderful afterwards. Overall, I would come back. I would prefer more instruction next time but now that I know what to do, I will be more aware.

What do you do when your flight gets cancelled and you're stuck in Queens for an extra day? Go to Flushing, load up on delicious Asian food, and get a foot massage! With no prior appointments made, we dropped into Coco Spa at 6:30pm on a Tuesday and were greeted for two hour-long foot massages right away. We're lucky we got there when we did because people started trickling in nonstop shortly thereafter. At $20/hr, who wouldn't wanna stop by for some self care? Of note and contrary to what other reviews have mentioned, we weren't pressured at all to give a specific tip amount. While it did not fully erase my travel woes, the massage was still pretty good for the price point and helped take my stress level down a couple of notches. I liked how thorough the massage was but had a bit of trouble catching my masseuse's attention when he hit some sensitive spots. If you have a lower pain threshold like me, definitely speak up and be clear about it early on. Otherwise, everything else felt pretty on point for a quick n cheap foot rub. Go in with the right expectations and you will come out with some happy feet!

I wanted to update my review. I've been coming to Coco Spa on and off for many years. I try to come when I visit my parents who live in the area. Due to so many businesses shutting down due to Covid, I was surprised to see them still open. I would assume this is one of those businesses that has suffered the most during this time. I came in last week and had a fabulous massage. Extra care was given, made me curious why? I assume everyone there was trying to hold onto work. The place was very quiet. I hope this place makes it. I hope old customers come back and support it if they can. It's really the best massage place in Flushing. I read on past reviews how people complain about the tip...... the rate is exceptionally low for what you get and they want to make sure the workers get a good share. I will definitely continue to come back and support their business.

Established business and popular in the area. Do make an appointment in advance. The only issue was the alarms going off for different clients every 10-15 min but I guess you're not meant to fall asleep! Take noise cancelling AirPods or earphones with you if you're planning to really relax while getting a massage.

This place is great for massages. I love coming here for a foot massage . Nice price and they are really good at it. Place is clean but the only problem I have with this place is that some customers are very rude and have no manners. They are always loud, don't know how to whisper and it's really annoying when one comes here to just relax and can't because there is an idi&$ next to you speaking so loud with their friend. Sucks because no one at the establishment enforce this. Overall it's a good experience but they do need to lower their voices and ask patrons to do the same.

I went to see Jason - my fav therapist every other month. He never lets me down. 1 hr session is not enough in my opinion, 1.5 hr would do the trick if you have body ache and intense neck and shoulder. usualy I would tip $10 per hr and $20 for 1.5 or 2hrs. Trust me, they're deserved that. 1.5 hrs body rub is $55 , so cheappp but cheap doesn't mean cheap quality, quite the opposite.

NY massage custom: Minimum required tip What did I get A one hour foot massage. I am not local to New York. This was my first time trying a foot massage. Compared to the other places I've had it (Chicago and Orlando) this was great! The guy I had put on some strength (sometimes he is a little weak). For me it was very soothing. I workout, so it was a good massage. Went with a group of friends, 4 us and they were able to take us all at the same time Environment Not to pleasant looking. It is in a basement. I had to take the stairs down... I only did a foot massage and this was right at what looks like the lobby area. There were about 8 chairs I would say. Niceness of the staff Now this is where things get all crazy for me. I feel you get different treatment if you don't speak Chinese. I am Chinese myself but I didn't speak Chinese so I don't think he was as friendly to me, I will blame language barrier.... ALSO the guy that took my payment said it in the nicest way possible but I can't help but to be offended. What has this world gotten into... tipping is no longer optional or based on what you believe the service was like.... I initially planned to tip $5 but was forced to tip at least $10. He said that this is because the services is so cheap so we need to tip more. Now I don't understand why they don't just raise the price then.... Dollar It was $20 for an hour of foot massage plus I paid MANDATORY $10 in tips... This makes it false advertisement, I would be less upset if they wrote it in fine prints or had notes inside that states the minimum tip amount Yes? I have been coming to Coco Spa for years and never took the time to write a review. Let's be honest, most people only write to rant about a bad experience but don't often take the effort if they receive the service they expected. Now on to the review. The place is in the heart of downtown Flushing, so if you drive, give yourself at least 30 mins to park and get to your appointment. The staff is all pretty skillful so you can go with any of the masseuse and you will have a nice massage. The masseuses are attentive, albeit their limited English proficiency, you can tell them where you have pain and they will work on the area. They have female and male masseuses so if you have a preference, let them know when you book appointment. When you get the back massage, they finish off the massage with hot stones which is quite relaxing. Overall it is a great value and a nice place to treat yourself to an hour of relaxation.

So came in as i walking by: went in and all the staff is sitting in the massage chairs (there's about 10 reflexology chairs in the front) sleeping and picking their teeth and nose... The staff won't even move from the seating for customers because they want to relax. The lady at the front desk kept saying oh sit next to whoever... um, sit next to the employees sitting in all the chairs that's supposed to be for customers? Shall i sit on their lap? Then i noticed all the "OMG great deal for a good massage" reviews... so everyone giving good reviews, i know you're not Chinese so you don't have much real experience to base this on, but no this is not "good place and so cheap" as in Flushing there are thousands of massage places all priced the SAME ($20-30/hr foot massage) and one of the key requirements for a good massage is THEY HAVE TO BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU A SPOT IF THEY WANT TO RUN A BUSINESS. I would also say that probably the reason they behave like this is because they have all these "Lao wai" writing reviews about them that aren't based on any real knowledge.
