In efforts to support local Bahamian business , and enjoy coffee beverages . I took the initiative to experience this establishment on a vacation trip as I visited from New Providence. I was ecstatic to visit the COCOA Coffee House . Unfortunately, I was disappointed, and dissatisfied with the way I was treated. The customer service I encountered was dreadful. Here is why. Upon walking in, I said good afternoon and greeted everyone in a friendly manner and there was no reply . To follow this, I asked the staff for a recommendation on the menu (coffee wise ) she shrugged her shoulders and said to just get a frappe with an attitude . Immediately, I was turned off . But , what happened next took me aback . Tourists came to the store and without hesitation her body language , and tone changed . She greeted them , smiled , and even made jokes with them . In an instant she became a completely different CSR and cashier. It is unfortunate that we treat our own as lesser . Are we not using our hard earned money to purchase at the establishment just like visitors? When there are no tourist in our country we rely on our own . Tourist or no tourist , customer services makes or breaks a business. Please treat your Bahamian customers better and make them feel valued . The coffee itself was decent , however due to the awful attitude of the staff. I would not recommend.
