One of my absolute favorite shops in Madrid. I send everyone I know here when they come to visit, and I love to stop in frequently to see what new treasures have arrived. Everything is beautifully displayed, carefully selected, and absolutely the best hand-made artisanal products in Spain, both contemporary and traditional. A jewel!

Our Context Travel tour guide introduced us to COCOL and I am so grateful. It is a beautiful store featuring handmade and original work by local artisans. There is wonderful pottery, wool blankets and scarves, blown glass, and leather bags. The owner is delightful to work with and the store buzzes with good energy. Unlike other ceramic stores I stopped in, COCOL will ship your purchases for you, which makes buying ceramics on an international trip so much easier. I highly recommend you find this store and support the owner and local artists who make it possible.

A wonderful shop with very nice and accommodating staff. The ladies helped me decide on my purchases and offered to help ship my items back to the USA (which I declined, but in hindsight, I wish I had taken them up on their offer because shipping on my own was a bit of a hassle)! I ended up purchasing a large woven bull head, handmade candle holder + candle (one for me and one for my mom), among a few other items. I thought the prices were reasonable, especially after traveling to Valencia and seeing similar items for equal or greater cost. I’m so happy to have found Cocol and had the ability to purchase local-Spain souvenirs! It’s in a very cute area of Madrid, so if you’re not close-by, the shop and area are definitely worth a trip! Beautiful shop with local artisan crafts and goods. We purchased 3 beautiful pieces to take back home after vacationing in Spain. Each piece has a special story and is unique. They are incredible helpful and kind people who provided us great customer service. The shop’s owner was extremely passionate and knowledgeable. She hand chose every piece in her shop and works directly with the artisans. They even have beautiful antique pieces!
