This is the most exceptional store in Madrid. It was like stepping into a magical realm filled with the owner’s, Pepa, particular eye and taste. She has done the hard work of curating and finding beautiful pottery, glass, leather, hats, jewellery and stunning baskets made by old families around the country. She also does craft tours. We spent the entire morning there and it was hard to find a store like hers in Madrid or the other towns in Spain. Unmissable.

What a lovely store! I picked up two pieces of pottery as souvenirs and the owner carefully packaged them up so that they would get home in one piece. I only wish I could have purchased more beautiful pieces!!

This small shop in Madrid is the kind of place you stumble into once and then recommend to everyone you know. It’s not just a store; it is soulful, beautifully curated and unforgettable as an experience. Every corner is carefully arranged with beautiful objects from across Spain, each one carrying a story which Pepa tells with patience and grace. It’s rare to find a place where everything feels intentional, authentic and deeply rooted in tradition. What truly makes the experience exceptional, though, is Pepa. She is incredibly knowledgeable and shares her expertise with such generosity and warmth. Talking with her is genuinely moving. You don’t feel like a customer; you feel like a welcomed guest. I left not only with two beautiful leather bags and pottery pieces, but also with a deeper appreciation for Spanish craft traditions and a sense of connection with the owner that’s hard to find in shopping experiences. If you’re in Madrid and want something meaningful that is not mass-produced and not touristy, this place is absolutely worth seeking out.

One of my absolute favorite shops in Madrid. I send everyone I know here when they come to visit, and I love to stop in frequently to see what new treasures have arrived. Everything is beautifully displayed, carefully selected, and absolutely the best hand-made artisanal products in Spain, both contemporary and traditional. A jewel!

This is exactly what you’d expect…. And then some! A beautiful shop full with beautiful Spanish crafted products. One even more beautiful than the other. And then the owner who is incredibly helpful, proud (rightfully so) and just simply radiating the DNA of the shop. It’s precious, special, the dedication and love for craftsmanship is of another level. Must visit!

I wish I had bought more! Hands down the best store for beautiful ceramics & local homewares. It came recommended by our hotel & I can see why. A must visit for any discerning Melbournian with a good eye ❤️

Our Context Travel tour guide introduced us to COCOL and I am so grateful. It is a beautiful store featuring handmade and original work by local artisans. There is wonderful pottery, wool blankets and scarves, blown glass, and leather bags. The owner is delightful to work with and the store buzzes with good energy. Unlike other ceramic stores I stopped in, COCOL will ship your purchases for you, which makes buying ceramics on an international trip so much easier. I highly recommend you find this store and support the owner and local artists who make it possible.

Beautiful! We loved meeting the shop owner Pepa and also Veronica for her help with our purchase. If you are looking for true craftsmanship items and not touristy stuff, this is the place! Only in town a cpl days and planning to come back before we leave
