Coconut Garden Beach Resort

Amazing place and amazing staff. We stayed here from 18-23 September. From the first moment on you feel welcome. Our arrive was late in the evening, and the first thing they did was making us some diner while the kitchen was already closed. Every breakfast and diner were delicious and served with a smile. My wife was celebrating her birthday, and they organized a perfect diner with cake and songs 😊 Besides that, also the bed was prepared with a welcome text. The resort looks great, the bungalows are amazing. You can see that they made it with love for details. Every morning you open the curtains, and you have a beautiful look at the see. If we ever come to Flores again, for sure we will visit this place again.

Good place and cool bungalows. Amazing staff! Good restaurant. Just keep in mind that during the rainy season the beach is not that clear and water is not transparent firts 2 -3 meters. The coral reef is close by in front! Take the coral shoes as you can meet Sea urchins.Trips to The islands are cool.

The hotel left mixed impressions: - We booked a room on the beach with access to the ocean, for this we paid extra. In the end, when we arrived, we were put in a house on the second line, where we could see a piece of the ocean through the palm trees. - The service in the restaurant is very long. They often forget or confuse what we ordered. We waited 1-1.5 hours for breakfast, 2 hours for lunch. But they do everything in a friendly way. - Massage is something I do not recommend in any way, the person does not know how to do it at all, just stroked with rough hands, leaving a very unpleasant feeling. English "masseur" does not understand. Then I saw that this man was not a masseur at all, but a laborer. - there is only one socket in the room, but we asked for a tee and they gave it to us, thank you for that. - The bathroom has no floor, only sand from the beach and stones that make a path to walk on. Because of this there is sand in the room and in the bed. - the restaurant has delicious fish and a healthy aloe vera nipple - the restaurant closes at 7, which is not very comfortable - There is a good gym on site - SUP-boards and kayaks are available free of charge - Beautiful beach with palm trees - The shower only has cold water and little place to stand

We stayed here for 5 nights in December. Everything in the place is designed with beauty in mind. The restaurant and the bungalows are made of bamboo and thatch and are beautiful and comfortable, with outdoor showers and a pretty covered porch. The beach and grounds are cleaned every day, and the gardens have many coconut and frangipani trees. Breakfast is provided, and the options are varied and the juices delicious. Staff are sweet, helpful, and friendly. The restaurant serves lunches and dinners and the food is delicious. The hotel can organize transport and excursions. The snorkeling trip we booked with them was great. All in all, one of our favourite places in Indonesia.

Second time staying at the resort and the experience has always been wonderful. Love the bamboo cottages. The attention to details in their decoration is just unbelievable!!! Mad props to the owner who has worked tirelessly in keeping the resort running (I happen to see him running around fixing con shell light fixtures on the garden). Stunning sunset!!! One of the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen. The sea is very calm, very kid friendly but I am told there are months where the sea can be pretty rough. Overall, coconut provides a great “beach life” experience. Will return to Coconut whenever I’m in Maumere.

I'm really happy to stay at coconut garden, because coconut haved a beautiful beach, beautiful room ( have a tradisional decoration),nice place, delicious food and also nice staff very friendly 🫰😊♥️..|And the staff of room is very nice, when you booking for the room and you haved the like birthday or unversary, they Will prepare the room like that and very beautiful 😍. So i'm very very happy to stay that.

Amazing, lovely small resort. There is all about the cute details. Great beach view, nice staff, very friendly, good food, great drinks,... Sunsets from resort are different every day. You can go to snorkling trip, or swim 30m from the beach to see corals. There are also kayaks, available at every time. The best place to relax. And there spa and fitness equipment.

This is supposedly the best hotel in Maumere but is relatively basic, which is reflected in the low price. The beachfront setting is idyllic but the cabin was quite basic. The bathroom is entirely outdoors so we watched the crabs scuttling around in the sand at our feet while using the bathroom. The water never came hot in the shower. The food was simple but tasty although the fish was rather overcooked.
