This was a beautiful location. The place truly needs to be renovated. The doors are hard to access, bathroom needed repairs from the sound of the pipes made. The wifi was horrible. I had to stay in the living room in order to get Wi-Fi and once I walked in to my room it was gone. The service for dinner was horrible we waited for over 45min to an hour to get our food to go. Some left and even then they still forgot their desserts. Don't know if they were low on staff but that was truly disappointing for such a great location. Breakfast was wonderful but they didn't have syrup. Make sure you ask them to show you how to open your door. Staff was wonderful and kind.

Definitely home away from home. Rooms are beautiful, service is top notch, location is by the see. Eat your meals whiles watching the waves, see fisherman going or returning from fishing. Go on a walk along the beach, it's definitely worth it for two or three nights away from stress to rejuvenate.

This is a lovely and relaxing resort in Ghana. Is located in a private area requiring a taxi or your own car. it is quite close to the Elmina Castle which requires a visit. We had a private walking tour of the village with Felix, who did a great job of giving us insights to the local culture.|Staff of the resort was very friendly and willing to please. The coconut palms throughout the resort are extraordinary. And they provide coconuts for your drinking enjoyment. The rooms are comfortable and the air conditioning refreshing. Overall, very relaxing experience and a great place to stay if one is interested in visiting the Elmina Castle.

We love Coconut Grove Beach Resort. We stay there everytime we come to Cape Coast. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are extremely clean, and the staff is simply delightful.

We stayed here for a few nights while visiting the slave dungeons in Elmina. The place is okay, but seems a bit dated. Our room definitely was. We had the hardest hotel mattress that I’ve ever slept on. Lizards in our bathroom. Only a few minutes of hot water while showering. And, a stopped up sink that maintenance came and quickly fixed. The most memorable part of this stay was the 50th wedding anniversary celebration that was put together for a couple in our travel group.

Breakfast buffet is not good at all. Slow or no service, ran out of food often and saw a large rat near the dining area. Sad because we had high hopes and thought this would be a great place to stay and we were extremely disappointed.

It is a perfect place for a vacation, great service, nice rooms with sea views, good food and a lot of fun activities and tours. Such a beautiful place to be 🥰😊

Check in is 2pm, but the rooms were not ready and there was no urgency about getting them ready - it took over half an hour for them to be available. One rooms didn’t have towels and it took three requests to reception and four hours to get some. The hot water boiler in one of the other rooms didn’t work, so some people had cold showers. The WiFi only works in reception, which on a complex of this size and this price is useless. There are lots of pictures in reception proudly displaying all the celebrities who have visited, but this is a vastly overpriced hotel for poor service, cold water and no WiFi.
