Coconut Grove Beachfront Resort

We had a wonderful stay in Coconut Grove - just steps from the beach, the setting was beautiful and our room was comfortable and well equipped. The hospitality from the staff was above and beyond, they were all so warm and helpful in arranging excursions and activities for us. The food was excellent, especially the homemade baked goods and the curries. I would recommend to anyone looking to explore Taveuni!

A very special boutique ecolodge with direct access to a private beach and limited number of guests. The ladies there are amazingly caring and makes you feel part of the family. Great food with fresh fish and home-grown fruits and veggies. Perfect location to go diving, snorkelling and kayaking around the islets. Best place to stay in Taveuni if you are looking for quiet and peaceful luxury in nature.

I loved this place, the ladies were very friendly and the food was excellent, I told them I liked it spicy and they got it spot on! The Bure was nice but could do with additional lighting, not a real issue but something to think about. Their recommendation for diving was very good. There is a new luxury hotel down the road but if I return I will stay here again. The views are spectacular

From the moment we arrived until we had to head home, the care we received was like family. Thank you so much for everything! Great accommodations! Relaxing room, nice bed, liked the outdoor shower too! Food was always offered with Aloha and was always super tasty! The staff was very helpful. Loved the slow vibe of Taveuni! Don't come expecting to be in a rush, (they will accommodate), but slow down and enjoy the beauty and friendliness. Would definitely return.

Beautiful spot for a restful holiday and base for exploring the spectacular Rainbow Reef and island walks. The community of women who operate the resort are caring and will do the utmost to ensure you have the best possible time. Quiet, lovely property, eco-friendly, and serving delicious hyper local food. Right on the beach for walking at low tide and swimming and snorkelling when the water is high. Local reef is also world class. It was hard to leave and hope to return - recommend staying at least 5 nights as we did but more would be better!

We stayed in the Banana bungalow (closest to the beach) which is really well built and has screens (windows and doors), A/C, refrigerator, mats to wipe your feet, comfortable chairs (inside and on the porch), comfortable bed, and lovely outdoor shower (which proved my mosquito fear was unfounded as it drains and dries amazingly quickly and I never had to fend any off). The attention to detail is what sets this place apart: stainless steel Yeti jugs of drinkable water (no wasteful plastic bottles!) provided in your room and upon request, umbrellas (good for shade when walking as well as for the rain), sarongs (for visiting the waterfalls so ladies can respectfully walk through the villages), beach towels, kayaks which staff will set up for you on the beach and bring back so all you have to do is hop in and go and return, and a lovely restaurant. Amazing staff - they will even collect your recyclables. We were able to walk to the grocery store and to a couple restaurants. We were there for a week and although it is near the airport, there are only a couple small flights a day so it is not a bother and is super convenient for flying to/from the island. We just flagged down a taxi as we walked towards town one day and rented a car for a couple of days from the guy across the street and a couple houses down from Coconut Grove. The ONLY thing was WiFi was only available at the main building and not in the bungalows, but we had cell signal in the bungalows so that never really bothered us. We highly recommend Coconut Grove Beachfront Cottages and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Easily one of the best boutique properties that we have ever stayed at. Located at the northernmost tip of Tavueni you can see the sunrise from your porch and with just 3 cottages that are all well spaced out and with direct beachfront access, it's like having the beach to yourself at most times. Very romantic and relaxing, they definitely surpassed our expectations.||It has been mentioned in several reviews before as well, but what the reviews state is completely accurate as the meals are superlative. We had all our meals at the resort and loved almost everything that was put in front of us. A special shoutout to the Fijian dishes like Rourou and Ika Vakalolo. It was our first time eating Fijian food, and these dishes blew us away.||Finally a word on the beautiful staff - Sehra, Biu, Flori, and all the other lovely ladies. Over the course of our stay, they made us feel like family, and while everything else about the resort was amazing, it was definitely the warmth of the staff that made our stay here truly magical.||Highly highly recommended. Whenever we do come back to Fiji we will definitely stay here again.

A slice of heaven! ||We stayed here for 6 nights. We were met by beautiful, friendly staff and were made to feel very welcome. ||Over the 6 days, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even making us special teas and drinks for the flu we had! The staff were genuinely caring and such beautiful people. ||The accommodation is right on the beach. The photos were a true representation of the accommodation. ||The food at coconut grove was the best food we found on the island. The staff go above and beyond for any dietary requirements and were very accommodating. ||Very relaxing stay, which I far prefer to busy resorts! ||Highly recommend!
