⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Amazing Stay at Coconut Palms Casino Resort! We just returned from a 4-night stay at Coconut Palms Casino Resort in Vanuatu, and we absolutely loved every minute of it! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and at home. The service was outstanding — everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. A special shoutout to Liza, Daniella, and Alice — you were all incredible! Your kindness, smiles, and attention to detail truly made our experience unforgettable. Whether it was helping us with local tips, serving us with such warmth, or just sharing friendly conversation, you made us feel like part of the family. The resort itself was beautiful and relaxing, the atmosphere was laid-back yet vibrant, and everything we needed was right there. We can’t wait to come back — thank you to the whole Coconut Palms team for such a wonderful stay! 🌴💛

The staff were all very friendly and the hotel has a beautiful view with a large dining table that’s great for team meals, but guests need to bring their own food as no breakfast or snacks are provided. Unfortunately, cleanliness was an issue, coz I found dead cockroaches in the pool and along the path to the room. The room felt rather small for two people, the price is on mid side, and the location is quite far from shops and restaurants. With such friendly staff and nice scenery, this place has potential if cleanliness and facilities improve.

Absolute crud! Hot water took 5-10mins to work, and then the shower head broke anyway. No blankets provided, and the room is so small I felt like I was in prison (no effort to decorate or create comfort settings either). Rotting timber door frames. The cigarette smoke from their casino caused me to have asthma all night. The staff were lovely and tried their best to fix the things that were wrong, but clearly management doesn't give them much to work with. I wish I took photos as the ones online don't show how bad it is (or how small the rooms are) but I was in such a hurry to move to another resort I forgot. We got our bond back but was only refunded for the 2 nights we did stay there and not the other 4 nights we then cancelled. It's also located near a correctional facility. Please choose somewhere else and support local (or at least Aussie) owned resorts.

The hotel is adequate. It was an unpleasant surprise that none of the rooms have refrigerators. And a bit of an indignity when you check out. You have to wait around for someone to go check your room to make sure you haven't destroyed it.

We ended up at The Coconut because we had no other choice, but unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it. The atmosphere feels cold and a bit sad as soon as you walk in. The only warm part of the experience was the staff, the reception team and night guard were kind and helpful, and we really appreciated them. But the overall vibe of the hotel just isn’t good. It’s very basic and definitely doesn’t justify the price, we paid 9100 Vatu for one night, and the room felt glacial, both literally and in vibe. We did everything we could to spend as little time there as possible. It’s not a place we’d choose again.

The staff were helpful and friendly. I think the rooms are overpriced. The toilet did not flush properly, and the television did not turn on.

The room was very clean n everything felt new, but yeah, the vibe was a bit off, but overall it’s still a great place for budget travelers.

As for the employees, reception and maintenance staff, nothing to say. The staff is welcoming, available and attentive to customer needs. Thanks to daniella, Lisa, rina, Soise, Carolina and the others I couldn't mention for your kindness and the whole team in general.There are still a few areas for improvement, notably the possibility of eating at the hotel and breakfast. On the payment system, it would be a plus to pay deposits by credit card. Put in a container to filter the undrinkable tap water. Availability of tea and coffee.
