Coconut Surf

Great, quite place to stay and hang out with other guests. Definitely gives you a nice feeling of being at home. Coconut Grove is across the river and a easy walk to the main part of town. Really nice people at Coconut Surf. Loved it!

Strong recommend. My goals for time in SJDS were to surf and to chill out. Coconut Surf hooked me up with HighTide and that connection absolutely made my trip the surf-cation I was hoping for. While not surfing, Coconut was poifect for chilling while also offering the option to be social with other guests or the hostel next door when I felt like it. I opted to be outside of town so I could get shut eye when I wanted and party when I wanted. Walking + transportation is easy, plus the food availability in a 30 second radius (two restaurants and a convince store) is appreciated. All the basics- kitchen, ac, bed, shower were two thumbs up. The staff was so kind and always addressing me by name, open to questions and willing to go above and beyond and beyond if I had a request. Kiki is the bomb and really put the icing on this cupcake. So grateful I chose coconut surf!

We loved our stay here! Great location with an easy and short walk along the beach to the main part of town. Highly recommend!

We stayed on the Coconut House for almost a week and it is such a magnificent place for those who want to stay in a ”family-like” commune environment! Great value for money with such convenience on getting surf lessons etc. almost ad hoc. Absolutely lovely patio, pool area and everything. The location is very calm and nice, separated from the city but in a walking distance. Also it is good to know there is a free shuttle between the Coconut House and the city, which you definitely should use during the dark hours. Coconut Surf as a concept/company is chef’s kiss imo!

We had a great time staying at Coconut Surf. Eduardo was a really lovely, helpful, and accommodating host. He helped us organize our trip from start to finish and was really great with all the details. The surfing was excellent and my instructor, Bryan, was knowledgeable and fun. We loved how close the house was to the beach and walking into town for dinner. The pool is a really nice place to hang out and the wifi is actually speedy! We loved it. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at coconut for 4 nights and extended for another night, because we loved it so much. Eduardo was such a nice host and helped us in every belonging. We went surfing, had BBQ in the evening and had a lot of fun together. The rooms are well maintained and clean. The common areas are well equipped and invite to relax. We will come back!!

Coconut surf had an absolutely amazing service. Eduardo was incredibly helpful helping us organise anything we asked from surf board rentals, surf lessons, transport to beaches, taxis, extra nights stay. Coconut house had a very welcoming feeling. Jairo, the grounds keeper is available day and night for any questions or help with anything. The atmosphere is great with the shared spaces with other young professionals. The rooms and the house is clean and well kept, hot showers were a nice luxury during our stay, the AC worked well and the internet was fast and reliable. We had an amazing time in San Juan del Sur, and a big part of that was because of Eduardo and his team! Would highly recommend coconut surf's activities and coconut house as a place to stay if looking for private rooms in a place with a quiet social aspect.

Eduardo, his assistant Sandra, security and the extra services we requested (bartender and chef) was spectacular! No complaints whatsoever, everyone was very welcoming, service and hospitality was amazing and every single detail about the house was impecable. He also facilitated other activities like our catamarán trip which made everything so much easier and has great local recommendations. Very grateful for the fantastic and stress free experience he helped facilitate for a trip I planned for 16 people.
