What can I say? I wish I never had to leave. We booked the over-the-water Fale, “Tavita”. It was worth every penny! After booking I read some less than positive reviews about the resort and all I have to say is they are incorrect. There was absolutely NOTHING we didn’t love about our 4 day stay. The welcome, the friendliness of every single person you encounter - the front desk, the restaurant, the bar, the housekeeping and the Spa. Brian the owner is visible and interesting to talk to. We loved the sunrise and sunset! The pool and swim up bar was refreshing and fun. The use of snorkel and other water gear was convenient. Our room was one of my favorite stays ever - private, comfortable and just fantastic. We thought the food and drinks were priced appropriately and everything was fresh and delicious. I also had a massage at the spa and am so glad I did not skip this. The spa is beautiful and shouldn’t be missed. The Saturday night Fire Dancer performance was also exceptional and you can feel the pride the local people have in their culture.

Me and my partner had stayed in the bungalows room at coconuts resort, which was extremely pricey, but had the most beautiful views for both day & night. We got to experience the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises from our bed, as well as seeing the full moon during the night as well.||The bungalows were a little walk from the restaurant, so If youre thinking of wearing your best shoes/ heels to dinner, don't. It's quite a trek from the room through the sand, even a walk from the smaller rooms go through the sand, a walk from the villa to restaurant/ front desk provides a paved path tho. Not complaining, i quite liked the scenic walk :)) ||The food was also quite pricey especially the dinner menu. Our dinner honestly just tasted cheap/ defrosted almost. We had quite a variety of dinner options from the steak, to the snails, chicken and seafood and it just didn't really stand out for me, but the deserts were delicious. Lunch was pretty decent, & the paniolo breakfast was delicious.||The performances were honestly the most in tune with the Samoan culture that I've ever seen. No speakers, no pre recorded voices, no microphones. Just song and dance through voice and movement. It was beautiful, as well as the siva afi. I've seen many performances at many resorts in samoa and theyre all somewhat westernised, but coconuts resort had portrayed the Samoan culture, in their own beautiful way. Speaking both in Samoan and English tongue, & including all guests to take part in the performance that night.||We didn't really take part in the activities available other than snorkeling, but there was plenty there presented to us to choose from, from tours, to boat rides, kayaks, swimming with turtles etc. We mostly just enjoyed the view and warm sun most days.||In conclusion, I'd most definitely recommend the bungalows to couples, the resort and views was absolutely stunning. It is on the pricey side but was most def worth it. Room comes with aircon, spacious fridge, tea and coffee station, very spacious bathroom sink area, beautiful deck outside with chairs and table, and more.||Thank you coconuts resort for having us, will most def come again !

Coconuts is a beautiful boutique resort with a picturesque setting with amazing ocean views. We stayed there for 5 nights and it was probably my favorite beach resort I have ever stayed in. ||It has a pool with a swim up bar, a nice restaurant and a nice beach. It’s not some mega resort with 4 pools, 6 restaurants. It has a little over 30 rooms and its size gives it its charm. ||The restaurant has good food and a large enough menu with daily specials so we dined there every night. Separate from the resort is a small beach shack bar/food place that is an easy walk if you want to leave resort. ||Samoa is not over touristed yet, it a very scenic island. The staff were all very nice, I could not recommend this place more, and the ocean views are amazing.

We have stayed here many times over the years and we have seen many changes. This visit was to celebrate our 20 year anniversary. We stayed in an upstairs Treehouse this time for 5 nights. Unfortunately manager Brian Rose was away but we managed to catch up with manager Lina Bell. I always look forward to the “Onion Soup” entree at dinner and we love listening to the local band play. The cocktail/drinks menu is fabulous and so reasonably priced. We will definitely return again to Coconuts – our favorite resort!!..

It's the first and the last time I will join this place Coconut Beach Resort, a very, very beautiful place to stay, but you have to lower your expectations about food, drinks and the complimentary internet. I have traveled in more than 90 countries till now, but it's the first time when I experieced this. Even if you stay for one night, one week or one month, you will receive 1GB per room. The breakfast it's included in the room price, but you will get only coffee or tea, 4 little pieces of fruits or a fruit juice, one muffin and two slice of bread with butter and jam. After 3 days like this, I paid like 50 USD extra for fried eggs, one salmon begel and one waffle. For me, this is huge. Take notice about the fact that rooms costs us around 600 USD per night. It's not such a little thing. We expeted some quality services. Even the two dinners we had here were...mmmhhh! So, I recommend this place just for staying, the water fale/bungalows are really amazing. But for lunch and dinner, go out and join some other places. We really loved "Aga Reef" and "Paddles". There are about 20-25 minutes by car, but on your way you will find many natural atracttion: waterfalls, pool caves, giant clams and turtle sanctuary...

This place is perfect for those wanting to literally sit around and do nothing. Our first day was the best having a demo how the locals cook(amazing) and then a cultural and fire display on the evening. The staff in the breakfast area and ding area were hit and miss on experience and the older ladies were a bit miserable. Continental breakfast was a disaster. Very limited with butter, jam, teabags and milk. Always had to ask for teaspoons and teabags|Our accommodation was over the water , the first one , beautiful but disappointing there was no steps from the balcony to go swimming. Also our accommodation was very open to people walking by or swimming close by , they could see right into our bathroom- some form of reflective glass wld work wonders here. Also don’t expect a decent tea, coffee or milk in the room. |0ur bed got made everyday but sometimes that was it , one could tell by the dust on the surfaces, and lack of clean towels. |We felt there was a lot of penny pinching in certain area, having to pay for wi-fi , tours that didn’t last the time were still charged the full rate.|All in all the staff on the whole were very good and they are governed by management say so. |Potentially having yr own vehicle would be good as then you are not subject to the high prices being charged by resort. It is a very easy island to drive around.

We had a family brunch at Coconuts. I was the 3rd person to order my brunch, and I ordered fried eggs as an extra. I wasn't asked how I wanted my eggs, but they were lovely when they arrived, sunny side up. I waited for my main meal and when it turned up, it was not what I ordered. So I waited again while everyone else had theirs, even those who came late. By now, my eggs were cold. I pointed this out to the waitress. She took my eggs back and served my main meal. The eggs came back, reheated and hard yolks, certainly not sunny side up anymore! The chef must think I wouldn't notice.|The cocktails we order, well I thought they have learnt by now to be consistent. My Tahitian Tickler, was almost alcohol free, with the Bloody Mary, the Tabasco sauce overpowered anything else and for the amount we had, we should have been extremely merry. The Gecko was fine, at least you can taste the alcohol in that.|It's a real shame, we spent a lot money that day. The company was what made our day, not the food or drinks!

A great resort, perfect place to relax for a few days. The food was delicious and definitely recommended you try the local dishes. Rooms were well presented and spotless and the resort was clean. Snorkelling with the turtles was a highlight. Will definitely be back.
