This is our go-to staycation place in QC. We often go here on special occasions, this specific one being a birthday.||- Service: They have welcoming staff who are always willing to assist you from the moment you step in to the moment you step out. Staff will often greet you at all times, assist you in the elevator, assist you with luggage, etc. However, limit your room service requests to mornings and afternoons as service is slow to non-existent during the night. Special mention goes to DJ, who graciously welcomed us on this stay and a previous one. When we mentioned we were here for birthday reasons, he made sure we received a delicious birthday token in the form of brownies.||- Cleanliness and Ambiance: They have clean rooms with a classic look and ambiance. The room is a little dated since this hotel has been around for over a decade, but it is well-kept.||- Electronics: They have a decent smart TV, which is surprising for a hotel like this. The air-conditioning is a little tricky to handle, as it can sometimes be too cold or too hot. ||- Bathroom: Their bathrooms are clean and has adequate amenities (shampoo, bath gel, hand soap, towels, bubble bath, toothbrush, toothpick, hair dryer) and also has a sink, a shower, and a bathtub with hot/cold water available at all times. ||- Pantry: They have a mini-fridge to store any food and drink you might have. They also provide you with a jar of water outside that fridge. They also have two wine glasses, two coffee cups, and two teaspoons. However, coffee and tea and sugar packets are often not there when you arrive and you must request for it.|-> The single jar of lukewarm water may not be enough for you. I recommend requesting an extra jar of water and some ice as soon as possible. Room service and housekeeping comes to a halt in the evening, and any requests you make will be acknowledged but will not be accomplished.||- Food: Great food. Ate at their sixth floor restaurant for breakfast. If you don't want to eat at the hotel, there are many other great food options nearby.|-> Ambiance: Pretty decent. Open-air. However, it is beside the pool, and if your table is beside the pool and someone is swimming, you (and your food) will likely get wet with pool water.|-> Breakfast: We often avail of their breakfast, which has good Filipino, International, and Healthy options. They have a good variety in their menu, but you may only choose one per person if you availed of a breakfast package and you will shoulder the cost of any additional dishes. We had their "Bistek and Egg" and "Ben's Eggs" (Eggs Benedict) which were both fantastic.|-> Buffet: They also have a buffet that, though limited in variety, is always delicious. |->> Soup of the Day: Always good. Changes every day. We had their crab and corn soup this stay.|->> Egg and Pancake Station: Only had their omelettes. Beautifully cooked, soft on the inside.|->> Coffee: They have a coffee machine, and sugars and sugar-alternatives on the side. Decent coffee.|->> Salad Bar: One leaf option (lettuce), six topping options (onion, cucumber, corn, carrot, tomato, olives), two dressing options (balsamic vinaigrette and honey mustard?). |->> Cereal Bar: Koko Crunch and Fruit Loops.|->> Pastry: Many options. Note that they also sometimes come to the table with a basket of pastries. Recommend their flaky, buttery croissants and their ensaymada. Note that the ensaymada and some other pastries are quite dense and you might need coffee to assist your chewing.|->> Drinks: Service water is always provided and refilled. As for others, we saw infused water and red iced tea (inumin kaagad habang malamig, lasang gamot na pag hindi).||Overall: Excellent service, quality food, and comfortable accommodations for the price. Sulit 👍
