Cocoon City Hostel

I stayed in a four bed female bunk room. I had a great experience.||The room: Had AC, generous sized locker drawers that use the room/bed key card. Slight faff to put sheet on top bed but okay (note if you have mobility issues definitely book bottom bunk). The beds each had a light, slide to put things, and a charging port. Would’ve liked a curtain rail as an added bonus. Room was clean and had access to balcony.||The bathroom: the women’s bathroom could often be packed. Not the biggest fan of slightly see through doors but that seems to be normal in Greece. The bathroom was very clean and modern. Would’ve liked a lock on showers with changing room rather than a curtain but no biggie. You can hire towels from the front desk.||Common areas: kitchens were good, water drinkable, had nice common area and pool although I’ll admit to not really using these areas. Big boards with activities and a WhatsApp group.||Location: easy 5-10 minute walk into town. Try the Red Jane bakery for brekkie/coffee nearby.||Baggage: they have a locker room although anyone could walk in, it’s not secure which I wasn’t a fan of, again seems to be standard in Greece. They do have secure lockers for precious good like laptops however if you ask.||Overall: while as mentioned could improve a few things, that’s just me being picky after staying in lots of hostels. This is definitely one of the better hostels I’ve stayed in and deserves the high rating as a result. Helpful staff, easy check in, nice rooms.

Excellent hostel, highly recommend!!! The service and staff, super welcoming, professional, and helpful. The location is perfect, next to the old city, and central bus station. Rooms are spacious and clean, and so the toilets/showers! Everything was just perfect!!! 👌 Thank you❤️🙏

I spent a few days at Cocoon City hostel and had a good time. It is quite a large hostel with lots of space and several bathrooms and kitchen areas. The staff was extraordinary nice and helpful and they also offer great day trips. The shared spaces were lovely, they even have a pool! Everything was clean and they also have lockers in the room. And the location is perfect. One thing you could maybe change in the future: More hooks in some of the bathrooms for towels and clothes.

Everything was great! Impeccable service. They helped me with everything I needed. They called me a taxi on the way back. I met many interesting people from different countries. We even became friends with some of them. The place was quiet and you could enjoy your coffee. Another positive was that the bus station was very close to the hotel. The place was comfortable. I recommend it to everyone without hesitation. You won't regret it!

The best hostel I’ve ever stayed at ♥️ staff is extremely nice and welcoming, the shared facilities very well kept and clean, rooms nice and comfortable. Of course the experience in the room varies depending on room mates (bigger groups are usually louder), but the facility itself is 10/10! Would recommend without doubts.

This hostel exceeded every expectation I had and completely changed my perspective on hostels. The facilities are new, clean, and in excellent condition. The staff is friendly and always ready to help, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. There’s a lovely courtyard with a pool, a dedicated study room, a well-equipped kitchen, and spacious common areas for cooking and relaxing. The bathrooms are spotless, as they are cleaned multiple times throughout the day, and I never experienced any crowding or waiting. It’s by far the best value for money you can find — without sacrificing comfort in any way. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

Hands down the best hostel I have ever been to in my life and trust me I have been to a lot! Clean, tidy, air conditioning working, toilets, showers always clean, plenty of common areas to socialize, backyard had hangers to dry all your beach stuff, bathrooms had hair dryer, staff was super nice and helpful, cleaning staff was hardworking! Haven't used the kitchen but from what I have seen it was well equipped. Rooms were clean, bunkbeds were spacious and there was quite a big storage space under the bed which you locked with you key card. Also let me just mention how useful the whatsapp group turned out to be, it really was the heartbeat of the hostel's social life, and thanks to it got to meet amazing people and made some unforgettable memories! Also the building is conveniently situated close to the central bus station and the old town, supermarkets are also close by. In case you need to store your luggage they also have a storage room for that, or you can even lock it in a safe locker at the reception. All in all, great experience, my only suggestion would be to put some hangers in the shower cabins too so we can hang out towels and clothes. But other than that, as I stated, best hostel I have ever been to!

Absolutely adored staying at this hostel. Super clean, super friendly and an amazing location! Beach is a 10 minute walk away. Would 10/10 definitely stay here again!
