Cocoon Hôtel Belair

We booked this hotel via Social Deal for a long weekend. The service was friendly and helpful. The hotel also offers a spa facility, although it’s located about 400 meters from the hotel. The spa includes a sauna and two steam cabins, and water bottles and towels are provided. What I liked • Hooks by the door for easy hanging • The natural surroundings and leisure activities around the hotel • Cozy, homey interior What I missed • Air conditioning or temperature control • In-room tea/coffee facilities (although you can borrow a kettle at reception)

Checking in was not really pleasant. It turned out that they were overbooked (superiour room ) and they wanted to put us in a lesser room without even mentioning compensation. When I stood my ground the manager Mark became irritated and raised his voice and said it was not his fault that it was overbooked. In the end he gave us the correct room. Then we had lunch witch we tought was a bit expensive. At dinner the manager Mark was still not pleased with us as guests and kept being rude when we didnt knew our roomnumber and kept pressuring us by reacting annoyed and frustrated. I have never met a manager like this in my life so rude. Our room was nicely decorated but the floor was damaged pieces of the floor were missing. The room was also very warm. The breakfast was okay nothing special. Then we had to Check-out and unfortunally i didnt check our bill very well. Our lunch from the previous day was wrong they charged us 23 euro for a salad we never had. So they pretend to be a 5 star hotel but they are far from it ! You cant survive on a great location only. I will not book this hotel again.

The location is definitely top! Quiet surroundings, away from the road, and the scenic view. The breakfast is good, but dinner was somewhat not matching the price to quality relation. The staff is kind and helpful. It's definitely a great place to stay with your pet, as there are lots of other guests coming with their pets as well. P.S.: They have chargers on premises but very expensive: 0.77€ per kWh as on June 2025.

Hotel is nice. We had a nice room with a balcony. The rooms are clean. Breakfast was fine. Two issues we did not like the Fitness, Sauna are in the Hotel Cocoon Rive which is 5min walk from the Hotel Cocoon Belair which is not written when you look on the Cocoon Belair site. We arrived at the Hotel at 3h00 in the morning and they have a door on the back which is always open and when you enter you are straight next to the lift and you see not the reception. I think people who stay in the Hotel should enter with the key from their room.

First the road entrance to the site is not the bridge but small side road further round and be aware it is just enough space for a single care / Motorcycle to go down or up, it has at least three harpin and the gradient is at least 1/8 angle. The entrance tarmac is broken with sum large breakages. The site and hotel just right. The only thing we had was one window seamed to be faulty so unable to open. Very relaxing , peaceful and enjoyable area. The hotel reception and bar, food all closes around 10pm, So just time it well for booking before peak holiday season, highly recommend to stay.

Very nice staff, very accommodating. The rooms are nice, especially the bathrooms. Location of the hotel is great too.

Lovely hotel. Dropped by for a night after a long day of hiking on the trail. Service is quite okay, rooms and showers are quite nice. The view is stunning, where you have direct access to a stream, with a lovely setup where you can sit by the water or use the swing. There is also access to a sauna, and tennis courts. Highly recommend. Breakfast was great! Also, thanks to Jeffery for the wonderful service and warm welcome!

Nice hotel in a beautiful place. Unfortunately we had a room on the first floor just above the restaurant. The window was just above the outside dinning place where people could smoke which got in our room if we had the window open, but other than that it's a really nice place.
