Can’t believe this adorable place just happens to be in Dayton, Ohio. The atmosphere is a whole vibe, including the decor and seating. The service was outstanding. I live in Atlanta, but somehow I’ve been to Coco’s twice in 5 months; the great service and fantastic food is no fluke. The food was also outstanding. Somebody in that kitchen is a chef, for sure. I got the pork shoulder with grits. It was magnificent. And they put warm focaccia bread on the table when you arrive. And I give their Brussels sprouts appetizer a 10 out of 10. Great portions. Great tasting food. I guess this is my place now whenever I’m in Dayton.

Starting with ruining a birthday celebration when we specifically asked for it, on the phone NOT online. The food was unsalted, and service was kinda slow. Steak flavor came from the butter and toppings only, no salt what so ever and tough cut (medium). $50 should get you a somewhat decent steak. Lobster MAC, $42: ONE small claw meat in the entire dish, no joke. Cocktails: Very tasty but almost no alcohol, had two and not even a buzz, for $14 a cocktail, please put a little bit of cheap alcohol in it. Manager dealt with the matter as if it was our fault (we were polite so she was, generic apology and didn’t deliver) Bland space, concrete floors that looks bad, industrial feeling, lights directed at your eyes, and someone with flip-flops was seated next to us, not a great site to look at while eating. Overall not a good choice for special occasions, good for an everyday meal, but doubt that for the prices. Up charge of $4+ for Credit Card use… (Seriously with your prices?) * In all fairness: French Fries were absolutely AMAZING. (Receptionist was nice.)

Google
A good place in Dayton. Excellent service and great ambiance. The food was very good. Fried Brie, The Birde and Linguine all were really good. A tad bit pricey-but good for special occasions.

Went here for the first time on a whim and it smelled good before walking in. Went between 2-5 hour so didn’t have the entree. But it’s definitely clean, comfortable, and it’s a little pricey but you get what ya paid for! Cleaned all our plates, best chicken sandwich (birdie) I’ve ever had. Grilled cheese and tomato bisque was delicious , will admit I prefer Colby Jack or cheddar cheese for my grilled cheese but was good. Everything is home made and home seasoned, I’ll definitely go again if in area. Also we split a grilled cheese lol

Google
This was my first time at Cocos and it was great ! We went for restaurant week so we had the pre selected menu. The mushroom soup was delicious and the gumbo was great too. I didn’t care for the pear gallate but that’s me personally. The bread served with their butter was a great touch. The service and atmosphere was so nice. Can’t wait to go back again.

Google
Fusion restaurant with a hip menu of unique salads, meats, and seafood. A great selection of apps and a changing menu of specialty drinks. Enjoyed chatting with the mixologist, Dierdre, who designed most of the cocktails 🍸 and was doing double duty serving us! The Fred Rogers was fantastic, and be sure to try the "Rubella" dessert drink before it's gone!

Google
This is a very warm and bright place to enjoy an exquisite meal at affordable prices. The facility is very clean and organized. We were seated very quickly but I understand they are popular and can get busy. The colors of the room’s decor make it inviting and happy. The music is upbeat, the staff is very polite, quick and informative of the menu. The food was absolutely amazing in taste, presentation and food quality. I will return.

Google
Service was mediocre at best. I ordered a steak salad medium rare I’m not usually one to send food back but the steak was SO rare. Took about 20 min to get the steak back from the kitchen and it was just as rare as before and they 100% just microwaved it to make it warm back to the table. At that point, I just asked for a box and the check bc it wasn’t gonna get better from there. Extremely disappointing experience and will not be back for such mediocrity.

Yelp
I had dinner at Coco's last night--Valentine's Day--and it was one of the best meals I have ever had. I ordered the halibut with beet risotto, which was the evening's special. My husband had the steak frites and mushroom soup. One of our friends also enjoyed the steak frites, while the other ordered a pizza. The service was exceptional. I missed the waiter's name, but he had very curly hair and provided the best service I have experienced at any restaurant. We live in Cincinnati, travel extensively, and consider ourselves foodies. Coco's is truly a hidden gem in Dayton, Ohio.

Yelp
Coco Bristol is the place to go to. It's El ANT is charming. The dining is an experience. The food is delicious. The ambience is just in the music and everything that sets tone my mother's 90th birthday there with over 50 people and it was lovely. The food was amazing. Everybody that came in from out of town, loved it, and still talks about it.

Yelp
Definitely recommend reservations...they were quite busy on a Saturday night. When we walked in, we were led to a comfy corner booth. The decor inside was simple, yet elegant. Our booth was a cushy, soft, almost couch. We loved it! Loved the gray color palette and industrial/modern look as well. Our waiter, Jason, was fantastic and attentive all night. The menu is limited, which is good! You know they actually make the food on site versus defrosting. We started with some drinks. The summer breeze(?) cocktail was yummy and sweet. They also had a fantastic wine selection. We went with the fried Brie appetizer. It was so good paired with the crusty bread. For our main we had shrimp fettuccine and spaghetti and meatballs. So good! Be prepared, the prices were a little high, but definitely worth a trip downtown. We had a great night!

Yelp
We received a gift card to Coco's so gave it a try for dinner during the week. It was surprisingly crowded for being a Monday evening, but we were seated without a wait. The menu wasn't as big as I was expecting, and I thought it was funny that the drink options take up about 60% of the menu page. I tried the burger, as our server said it was one of the best in the city, and my SO got the brisket. The food didn't live up to the hype. My burger was pretty average, and the roasted garlic aoli became lost in the boursin cheese. The brisket was below average, and in hindsight, this was a terrible choice considering Coco's isn't a BBQ restaurant. It also came out lukewarm which was disappointing. Overall glad we tried it, but don't think we'll be back. On a positive note, the service was great, and our server Anthony did a wonderful job.

Yelp
I was invited to a Birthday Brunch here at Coco and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. We had a great menu of chicken and waffles, eggs, shrimp and grits, collard greens and brisket. The service was amazing and the brisket was even better. The ambience was upscale.

Yelp
In Dayton for the WGI World Championships. Yelp'd a place for seafood and this place popped up. Tried mushroom soup, sea bass, lavender pot crème. Everything tastes great, nicely presented and service was very hospitable. I would def return.
google avatar

Yelp
Food and service is always outstanding! Their tomato soup and grilled cheese is simply the best. I know that sounds crazy because of all the other delicious entrees on their menu but that tomato soup is to die for.
google avatar

Adam R.

Yelp
Went with a friend for dinner and we both thoroughly enjoyed our food. Nice comfortable atmosphere that was relatively busy on a Wednesday at 630. I started with the Mushroom soup which was creamy, smooth and slightly rich. For my entree I got the Shrimp and linguine while my friend got the Spaghetti and meatballs. Both were very tasty and seasoned well. Would absolutely recommend this spot!
google avatar

Yelp
First time coming here. Loved the ambiance. The mushroom soup is awesome. Our waiter was very good and did his job well and he recommended the chicken. I should have gotten the chicken. The Cabbage salad w/the pomegranate dressing had very little taste. The Caesar Salad looked great. The drinks were strong, and the Spiced Pear Sorbet was delicious! I would came back. Love that they take reservations!

Yelp
Fantastic food and service. My date and I stopped in for dinner before the show at the Schuster Center. Our server went out of the way to make sure we were ready to leave in time. The Salmon for me and the steak salad for her were excellent and well prepared. We both thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the apple gallet dessert. We both highly recommend Coco's for an excellent dinner. .

Yelp
We went there for Valentine's Day last night before stopping over to the Ballet. We had no set dinner plans and I searched it on my phone while driving to Dayton. The website was user friendly and easy to make the reservation. Location is great and plenty of parking on each side of the restaurant. Just a short distance from downtown attractions. Cute and simple decor. Easy bathroom access. Hostess was adorable and friendly. Server was very welcoming and professional. The menu options were great. Not too overwhelming. Items were a little pricey but the food made it worth it. They had an excellent drink selection. I ordered the Caesar salad and lobster mac. My husband ordered the steaks frites. Holy cow. Soooooo goooood! I've had a lot of salads, that was by far my favorite Caesar. Highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be returning!

Yelp
Love the patio and the cocktails are good. I noticed they also had a separate banquet-type room good for parties/ meetings

Yelp
Went for dinner on Friday at 5pm. The place was just starting to fill up. Had reservations so we were seated Immediately! Calm chowder and pizza were both appetizers. A bit overpriced but good tasting. Would have loved a crunchier crust on the pizza. Had the short ribs and Salmon entrees for dinner. Both were overcooked and over priced. Had 2 craft cocktails, average. The chocolate cake for desert was great but for $9. A small slice. Come on ! Not sure I'll be back !!!
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic service, ambiance, and tasty food. A tad pricey but a nice place to feel a little fancier than usual. Chicken sandwich was a little tasteless but had the best fried texture.

Yelp
Amazing ambiance and food was INCREDIBLE!! I will be thinking about that salad all the time.
google avatar

Bridget H.

Yelp
We went there for lunch, I had the shrimp linguini and it was amazing. The apple dessert had the best crust I ever had. My co-worker had the salmon burger and she loved it! The chef came out to our table and he was really hot! The place is absolutely gorgeous, great ambience, wonderful staff and we just loved this gem! Highly recommend for couples, business meetings, I wouldn't recommend small children coming here - not that vibe.

Yelp
This just didn't work for us this time. We arrived for lunch on a Wednesday at 1 PM. We stood at the hostess station for about 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence. We were just about to leave. When seated I realized that the pizza is not available on the lunch menu. I asked and was told it wouldn't be served until 2 pm on the dinner menu. It was 1:15 at this point. We were very disappointed and chose to leave. Maybe we will try again at a later time.

Yelp
Seems to be a nice place for dinners and special events but we went for lunch. It appears that (per the menu) the only offerings are a few appetizers, salads with proteins added and a pan pizza. We tried the pan pizza and although the toppings were good (pepperoni, cheese and sauce) the crust is a very thin dried out crust that was slick and hard on the bottom and although baked with oil in the pan, it left quite a lot to be desired. There are much better places in the area for a decent crust on a 12X8 pizza. If they fix the crust it would be better but with tip this pizza, small arugula salad and iced tea was @$40. Will pass on this place for lunch. Maybe dinners are better.

Yelp
I believe a three star is generous here. Service was not good at all. We waited over five minutes to be greeted. It took forever to get anything delivered to the table. Carafe of water empty along with our glasses of water and was never replenished. It was my birthday and they knew I was gluten free but brought a slice of cake anyway claiming they had nothing gluten free for me. Ice cream is gluten free, so is fruit, as an FYI. Bathroom had dying flowers as decor. Food, maybe we are biased because I cook more than basic food at home. But if this restaurant actually has a chef, I may have chosen the wrong profession. The Risotto was subpar, cold, lukewarm at best and under seasoned. I am looking at other photos posted of Risotto and mine didn't even resemble what is posted, mine was soupy. Shrimp cocktail was no better than what I get from grocery store for NYE. Chicken sandwich was under seasoned and fries were over cooked. Now we were told no chef there that night but yet we paid for a chef to cook. Plating was zero, pretty much a one star presentation. I have been in the service industry and front of house completely needs retrained. From knowing how to set down and clear meals to greeting guests, it all needs work. The food wasn't inedible and the vodka elderflower gimlet was very good so I gave it three stars but probably more like a 2.5 for the price point. Sorry, really wanted to like this place. Overall Dayton Restaurants have underwhelmed us.

Yelp
Heard a lot of great things about this place. Very friendly host. She helped us pick a great table in the bar. Unfortunately the server was working in the dining room, on the patio and also had our table. What should have been a relaxed dinner turned into a hustle to get out in time and to our show. Once we finally had service, he was nice and had a decent knowledge of the menu but being spread thin made it forced. We did the shrimp cocktail with mango sauce. Really incredible! I chose the risotto. The flavors were great and the dish is plentiful. I finished with panna cotta which was also great. I had to ask another server to get our check while we were standing near the exit as we needed to leave. Looking forward to coming back and hopeful for a better service experience.

Yelp
Just OK. Ambiance was nice. Server left in the middle of our meal and didn't get our drinks until later. A bit overpriced for what I got (ahi salad).

Yelp
Fantastic for large groups. We reserved a large room for a party of 22. They did a fantastic job. Our waiter was great at getting all the orders correctly put in. The kitchen did an amazing job getting dishes out in a timely manner. The food was great. We had the burger, several apps and the pasta dish and it was all very good. The burger was next level delicious. The restaurant is upscale and stylish. It makes a great choice for a date. I recommend it.

Yelp
Great food and service. Have enjoyed every time we have visited. Highly recommend. Parking was the only difficulty we had once.

Yelp
Every week as I arrive in a new state I scout Yelp for amazing food after my long flights... Coco's Bistro did not disappointed at all. Starting with Jake who was absolutely FABULOUS. He recommended some great cocktails and options for dinner.... Advised me of some other fun places to visit on my short 2 day visit here in Dayton. Had the Bourbon salad plus the old fashion and ended with the Panna Cotta dessert. WOW .. I hardly ever make it to dessert but I went for it... OMG probably one of the best desserts I've had in a few ... the pana cotta was so creamy and velvety it just melted in your mouth and surprisingly it was not super sweet which I appreciate. MUST TRY!!!! The salad was a super good portion (could split with someone) and I prefer savory dressings but this was just the perfect t balance between a hint of maple and savory... the best of both worlds...and the drinks are craftily made to serve ... love it

Llyn M.

Yelp
The food was fine although not exceptional, however the staff was first rate. But the restaurant itself is a turnoff. This is one of the ugliest restaurants I have ever been in. And tables on the inside of a circle had table clothes but the 2 tops surrounding had no such thing. Not a comfortable space and I am not inclined to go back.

Yelp
My husband and I visited in the beginning of February before we saw Hamilton. He has been with work before, but not since the new menu. We were both impressed with the food, drinks, and service. It was a quiet night because this also happened to be the night of a huge snow storm. I was appreciative they kept the restaurant open at least through dinner for those of us that braved the weather. My husband got the appetizer pizza, which was really big for one person, but he enjoyed it. I had the Thai Peanut entree, which was delicious and so filling. You definitely get nice larger portions for the price you pay, which I appreciate when eating out. My champagne was good as well. Our server was awesome. He really moved things along when he realized most of the restaurant was going to see Hamilton that night. The restaurant itself is very modern, but fancy I guess you could say. I don't really think they need the heavy white tablecloths on the some of the tables. I found that to be a bit overkill and maybe not aligned with what they were going for. I can't wait to see what the next seasonal menu has on it.

Yelp
I've been at UD for the past four years and, quite frankly, it's a crime that it took me this long to try Coco's! The food was amazing and the waitstaff was helpful. I loved the atmosphere in the summertime. Would definitely recommend the fried brie appetizer. My partner had not had brie before our dinner and he was obsessed!
google avatar

Yelp
So I've lived in Dayton 8yrs now and have avoided going here because from the street, in my opinion, it's not very inviting. It looks dark and dead. Nothing could be further from the truth! It's bright and open inside, the staff are super welcoming and friendly, the menu has something for everyone and the drinks are great. Plus the bar there is simultaneously cozy yet open. I also didn't think it would be very busy but the place was packed, had a vibrant fun atmosphere. This is def a new fav for me and will be 1st place on dinner out rotations. If you've not gone here please give it a go!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here from a recommendation. Really enjoyed my Brussels sprouts and them also had the Cobb salad. I think the dressing was a little watery but would try again. Nice ambiance
google avatar

Alan B.

Yelp
This was my first time having lunch here. The menu made it really hard to decide what to eat. I landed on the salad and went w the citrus dressing. It was very good. The salad was great. I will be back so I can try the chicken sandwich.
google avatar

Libby V.

Yelp
It's fancy...atmosphere and food. And Oh so good. The floors are beautifully done- concrete with shades of grey. Everything was shades of grey. We had lunch...he had the standard burger, which wasn't quite so standard! Choice of salad or fries with it. He opted for fries. I judge a place by fries and these were good. I had a bibb salad with steak. There was cheese as well, and I was a winner cause I cleaned my plate. Service sets the standard. On the menu they shout out to their entire staff! Nice touch. How have we never gotten here before? We will go back.
google avatar

Yelp
Fancy dinner this evening and it was quite good. It's a very nice upscale restaurant that is definitely suited for a date or a business meal. We opted to go without drinks this evening and also without a starter. Right to dinner, I chose the ribeye steak. Patience matters, as it was 30 minutes until the plate hit the table, so you will want to be prepared for that. Which was fine as I was dining with a new project manager and we had a lot to catch up on. My steak was cooked exactly to the medium rare I requested. A good cut and grilled with the usual diamond-shaped hashes. Served with thin asparagus that was done well and plated beautifully. Overall, a good meal and I'm a fan. [Review 11307 overall, 1084 of 2019.]

Yelp
Excellent experience. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Dayton. The food was terrific and perfectly executed. Great cocktails and wine list and the service was impeccable. Loved the design and ambience too. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
I've heard so many great things about Coco's and it did not disappoint. The service was timely and personable. I never usually get a salad but the Bourbon Street Salad was amazing. My friend got the falafel at the suggestion of the waiter and was glad she did. Drinks tasted amazing and were good portions. Atmosphere was swanky and perfect for a fun night out.
google avatar

Yelp
We were here for my husband's work. We found this gem due to allowing dog's on their patio. I am so glad we did. Our waiter, Tyler, was perhaps the best waiter we ever had. He was professional, knowledgeable, efficient. and courteous. The fried Brie appetizer was delicious! I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. I subbed out the frites for asparagus and was pleased. My husband had the steak and raved about it. He ate every bite! If we lived here we would be back. If you are in Dayton, Ohio treat yourself right- dine at Coco's.

Tricia B.

Yelp
Just a lovely place to dine, high-class and quality food. Had a corporate party there once and it was perfect.

Yelp
Easter morning reservations and we have a table of 6. Drinks ordered and the Poinsettia that came was a actually a glass of Rosé. They said that was actually the Poinsettia with cranberry and champagne. Guess the champagne was flat since it was sans bubbles and there was no cranberry taste. So a Mimosa was ordered instead and they were real light on the champagne so it tasted more like o.j. She ordered a frittata and it came out looking like an omelette. I ordered the Belgian waffles with an a la carte side order of Applewood Smoked Bacon. It was not Applewood Smoked bacon as you can see from the pictures and it did not taste like Applewood Smoked Bacon. Another guest at the table also ordered the Belgian Waffles and we had to ask for syrup. They came in tiny ramekins so obviously we had to request more syrup. Filet and eggs were not what we expected and the breakfast pizza was the best item ordered. We had to ask for coffee refills. We had to ask for butter (which came melted so we had to send that back for hard butter). We had to ask for salt & pepper. We had to ask for our bills to be cashed out as it had been 15 minutes. Not what we expected when the dining room was not full when we sat down. Also every server had different types of clothing so with no uniforms or similar clothing at least, so you couldn't tell who was a staff member and who was a patron. Although the coffee, Belgian Waffles, and breakfast pizza were good, it may be awhile before we re-visit this "upscale" establishment.

Yelp
This place is so cute- it kind of feels like I'm in an art gallery and I love it. I got the Elderflower Gimlet and thought it was great. The food is also delicious! My friends and I started off with the shishito peppers as an appetizer. We decided to try something different and we weren't disappointed! It was just the right amount of savory and spicy. For my meal, I ordered the bistro burger and it definitely satisfied my burger craving... it was sooo good. As for dessert, 10/10 recommend the olive oil cake!! It has a lemon flavor to it and we were obsessed!

Billi N.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant and the food is delish. You have to try their signature grilled cheese & tomato soup and the Bourbon Street salad. Staff is awesome too!

Yelp
I struggled last night trying to decide if I should write this review on our experience last night at Coco's. With the single star rating system, it makes it even more difficult because everything about our experience last night was 5 Star wonderful, except for the dismount. When we arrived, the host was super friendly as he promptly took us to our table. Our waitress, Jessica, didn't waste any time taking our drink and appetizer order. The food was delicious as always. And then, the bill arrived. Now, I realize as we all grapple with the cost of inflation, prices continue to surprise us. Still, we understand and support these small businesses as they adjust for their cost of doing business. And please understand, my issue is not at all about the prices. That said, we now have begun to notice the added Credit Card Fee or Technology Fee as a final line item on the bill. By attempting to be more transparent and treating this as a separate line item rather than including it in the menu pricing, the serving staff is placed in an awkward position to deduct that fee from cash paying customers which did not happen last night. Was it unintentional or perhaps Coco's policy is to apply this fee to all transactions regardless of payment method. The small amount did not warrant investigation. My hope is that the outcome from this review will be to encourage the readers to eat at Coco's and, if you are a cash buyer, be mindful of the transaction. Credit card fees are nothing new and have been included in the cost of business since the dawn of credit cards. What is new, however, is the illusion that only now, vendors are being assessed and passing these costs on to the consumers. Coco's, please adjust your prices as needed to cover this cost as you have done in past years and drop the nonsense fee. You have smart customers and we will appreciate you that much more.

Yelp
The drinks are absolutely amazing! The food entree's are decent, depending on what you're craving. The tomato soup and grilled cheese are two of the most delicious things on earth. I want to marry the honey vinaigrette, I love it just that much. The owner is one of the most stylish women I've ever seen and she's always happy to see you!
google avatar

Yelp
This is such a nice dining experience especially for a date night or treating visitors to a nice dinner! Lots of modern rustic and luxury decorations to the place. A medium sized menu with lots of selections. Hand crafted cocktails worth the price all in the heart of southern downtown Dayton. All of the servers are very kind and Jason is awesome!
google avatar

Valerie I.

Yelp
The salads were really good. We were dressed at little too casual but no one seemed to mind.

Yelp
Hadn't been here in years so we have them another try. Unfortunately we continue to find it just ok for the cost. Neither of us felt an urge to rush back. Likely we come here every 10 yrs so so. The menu is small and there wasn't much on it that sounded intriguing to me ... but I'm admittedly a somewhat picky eater. I had thge special fish and it was ok. The service was fine .. I liked the huge mirror near the ladiesroom. We declined dessert nothing sounded our speed and went to out for Greaters icecream

Yelp
I imagine that things are a little different from "normal" in the current COVID-restricted state of things, but we really enjoyed our visit tonight at Coco's. Our first time here. It was pretty quiet, perhaps due to the pandemic fears and it being a Tuesday night so it was a relaxing meal. Starting with the fried Brie as an appetizer, we all found nice entrees that we each enjoyed. Everyone left full, tipped off with the blackberry frittes dessert. It's a little on the pricey side, but we enjoyed the splurge. Go check it out. One weird thing was the the end of the patio near the street was open, which allowed in some traffic noise. Not bad given that there aren't a lot of people driving around these days. We will see how it is during normal operations.

Yelp
My wife and I had lunch here today. It's an upscale restaurant in a part of 'not so nice' Dayton. It's white table cloths and efficient service. The prices reflect the level of quality so expect that. Coco's Burger. I asked for and got a medium cooked burger. Perfectly prepared ground tenderloin, bacon, caramelized onion and boursin sauce. Yummy all the way!!! I'm sorry Dayton Daily News but this burger is easily in the top 5 burgers in Dayton. Easily! It's sooo good! Salad. Mixed greens, carrots, pickle, radish. I got the house dressing honey basaltic - a good call! Pastrami on Rye: toasted rye, pastrami, Gouda cheese (I think) and a very mild and different sour kraut than usual. Excellent sandwich. Tomato bisque soup: oh, now that's really good! Creamy and wonderful. A highlight of the lunch. It's cold out so we both had hot tea. They gave us a nice selection to choose from, I had the blueberry hibiscus which was just right and served with a slice of lemon. Nice touch.

Yelp
Browsing the internet for a nice place to celebrate our Anniversary. I decide on Coco's. They have a covered patio incase it rains & we are smokers (w/cocktails). After typing in date & time, I give specific instructions we want patio seating due to we are smokers. I wrote If you do not allow smoking on your patio please call xxx-xxxx. It was raining like crazy that night. I rush to the entrance w/umbrella over head (to prevent the doo from falling), I'm a little wet but we have made it. The hostess escorts us to the patio. There is no one out there. We were offered our pick of ANY table. While we are choosing where to sit, we mention we see no ash trays. The hostess then tells us there is no smoking on the patio & asks if that is a problem. Another employee came out, at the same time, seating one guy at a table toward the front of the building. I said it is legal (to smoke outside) isn't it, couldn't we sit down there (pointing all the way at the back, away from just seated gentleman)? The male employee says everyone knows we have no smoking on our patio and that's why people come here. He Admits, he Saw My Note on the Open Table Reservation but Did NOT have Time to Call me. We left. We haven't & will never go back there again. What else do they NOT have time for? They let us drive all the way down there, in the crazy rain. How inconsiderate. Facebook brought this up as a memory. This did happen a few years ago, I am told the "male employee" is the owner. So I'm guessing the attitude is still relevant. Visit date 9/2019 Yelp just ask me to finish this today

Yelp
The food was undercooked. (Ordered medium steak, received purple rare, and salmon cooked on one side only) The service was inattentive. (Never noticed she was serving almost raw steak to the customer who ordered medium and never followed up to ask if the food was to our liking) The ambiance was dated. (Looked like a set from The Love Boat.) Not recommended.

Yelp
Drinks are top notch and food is superb! Always fresh and the menu changes based upon what's in season. Excellent restaurant in downtown Dayton close to UD. Have been coming here for years. Service and food is excellent.
