20 Best Scuba Diving Destinations in the World

"Located roughly 340 miles off Costa Rica, this biodiverse national park is a magnet for marine biologists and shark-focused divers: “It’s widely considered one of the top shark-diving destinations in the world,” said Jay Clue, with schools of hammerheads a major draw. A liveaboard is the best way to visit this remote site, which also sits at the northern end of the Galapagos–Cocos Swimway, an underwater highway for migrating animals like sharks and turtles." - Stephanie Vermillion Stephanie Vermillion Stephanie Vermillion is a travel journalist and photographer covering culture and adventure for Travel + Leisure Outside, and more. Absolutely incredible place, some of the cleanest water Iv free dived on with abundance of healthy big coral, if coming in by sail boat make sure you have a permit or you will be kicked out by park guards. They are very good at keeping the place free of anything that might danger the environment. Enjoy !

Came here with my family would give 5 stars. However, my youngest cousin, Chester, was taken in the night by some mysterious creature, so I had to bump off a star. Other than that, we had an amazing time! We saw these large lizards, which looked quite exotic, so we couldn't help but catch a few pictures. Unfortunately, the reviews won't let me add the pictures, but we had an amazing time with the family minus Chester. Do recommend just be wary of bringing small children due to the mysterious child snatcher
