Amazing place for diving, Coco is preserved from mankind and nature is rich both under and above water. The island is luxuriant, and every dives were rich of adventures and discoveries. A must for every divers ! Diving in Coco is not for newbie, as dives can be deep and require a bit of experiences. Get your Advanced, Deep and Nitrox certifications first with 100 dives prior to head there. Access is only possible by boat, so you will need to get there on a liveaboard and it takes easily 48h of travel just to get there. This is not a few days trip, expect 10 days total to enjoy the site.

The island is beautiful and well preserved. The Rangers ensure the protection of the site. It is possible to go ashore with a permit. You should not hesitate. The island is full of waterfalls. You can also see wild pigs.

Wonderful place. Only park rangers live on island and rotate out once a month. It is a 36 hr boat ride to the island

If you look closely off the coast of the island you shall see a large Underwater Ancient City, with a big Gorilla or Monkey Head structure below and more structures surrounding it, including giant walls, we discovered this a few years ago while talking about treasure. Great spot for diving and wildlife watching. My son found some cool old coins with crosses on them while wandering in a beach cave underneath a rock overhang that kind of looks like a human face. Great vacation yall.

Truly a magical place. I’m happy to hace had the opportunity to go ashore and experience its magic. *To go ashore you will need governmental permission* Superb diving and snorkeling truly are a plus too! I loved seeing all of the sharks, but was happy they were pretty far away!
