Google
An absolutely awesome brunch spot in la Zona Romantica with a great mix of both traditional and fusion Mexican brunch / breakfast. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

I guess all the good reviews are for breakfast. I went there for a light lunch, but it was disappointing. The green juice was good, and the staff were kind, but the food let us down. The calamari batter was too hard, making it difficult to enjoy the meat, and the burger had raw meat inside. We ended up losing our appetite.

We were staying at a resort all week and decided to go out for brunch one day and this place was a good decision. The food was tasty and flavorful. The drinks were fresh. Service was great. Would go back.

Esmeralda Rios

Google
This was my favorite breakfast place, of the three we tried in PV. I had the chile relleno omelette and my husband had the arrachera. We went back the next day and I had the phenomenal French toast and my hubby had an omelette.

Brooke Ortner

Google
Just solid breakfast all around. They have classics and then they have specialities like the French toasts and their homemade biscuits. Love the outdoor seating.

Your best option for clean fancy breakfast/lunch Kitchen close at 3pm keep this in mind We were treated in with a smile and quickly seated Menu is easy to understand as it’s bilingual Also most the staff speak English We had the famous order Chilli Relleno: pepper stuffed with cheese covered by omelette and red sauce and a side of fruits And the classic egg Benedict As deserts Half an order of churros pancakes (yes you can make half order) And half order of almond crusted French toast (because one half is not enough) If you have any dietary restrictions make them clear

The brunch is excellent. Food is plentiful so come hungry. The courtyard is shady and quiet. Every dish looked absolutely delicious. Marlin tacos, chicken enchiladas, breakfast burrito and beef burrito were tasty. Highly recommend!

Yelp
A trendy open air restaurant on Calle Púlpito surround by brilliant colors, decor, plant life and the flow of good food mets great energy. We had a short wait for the lunch brunch crowd (about 10 minutes, maybe a little less), 10 to 15 minutos seems to be the average on weekends. We got sat near the center by this beautiful tree intertwined with plants grow near and up around it. The view of all the patron enjoying themselves on each deck/patio section, the flow of the bar (yes, there's drinks) and staff was amazing, especially our server. Breakfast is served from 8am to 3pm daily, and lunch from Noon to 3pm. We ordered coffees, con leche for him, sin leche for me, plus a bottled water to share. I was craving something light but filling and the Ensalada de Mixta aka Mixed Salad sounded perfect and it truly was loaded with fresh veggie including jícama, pepitas, avocado, loads of tomatoes, cucumber, onions, lettuce, bell peppers, and zanahorla/zanahoria/carrots. Plus served with bread con olive oil. The blend of flavors was perfection. We were brought signature Coco's Kitchen condiments to pair with anything we needed including jams, salsa and butter. My boyfriend had the Pecan Waffle, Waffle con nuez, which also included strawberries and cream. Super thumbs up from him, especially with their syrup. At Coco's you can have your fill of Appetizers, Burgers, Salads, Soups, Sandwiches, Burritos, Tacos, Fajitas, Enchiladas, Quesadillas, Pancakes, French Toast, Waffles, Classic Breakfast favs, Omelets, Egg dishes, Sides/A la cart and any kind of drink you want from Smoothies and Fresh Juices to Cocktails and Cerveza. Entire place is so inviting, not to mention well maintained. The restrooms beyond well kept up as well. It's easy to see why they stay busy all seven days of the week, definitely each day we walked by. When you want somewhere both serene and enjoyable to go... Coco's is where you go... ¡Vamos!

Yelp
I wish I could take a picture of the food, but we've been here over an hour and still haven't received it. Server hasn't come back to check for drink refills at all. The place is cute, it's very relaxed & laid back, but this wait for food is ridiculous. All we got was pancakes & a Cesar salad.

Yelp
Coco's Kitchen is a must stop for Breakfast lovers. I visited twice during my PV birthday trip. The restaurant and outside patio is very beautiful and is an open air concept. Lines can form so I recommend being early rather than late. On my first visit I ordered the breakfast burrito and added chorizo. Coffee was good. Tasty breakfast burrito. The show stopper however, was my second visit. I ordered apple pancakes, eggs, and bacon. The Apple pancakes were amazing. If you Yelpstars are familiar with Apple Hill, Placerville, California in the fall and what goes down there then these Apple pancakes are for you. Coco's is 5 star service and food. I'll be back.

Rick S.

Yelp
Visited Coco's on a recommendation from the resort staff. Just a few blocks from the hotel, this restaurant is tucked into the middle of the block and seems very plain from the outside. However, the open air dining room is very spacious and comfortable and was a great place to enjoy our food. I tried the Chile relleno omelet and it had one of the best chiles I've ever had. Tender with plenty of cheese, it was surrounded by a perfectly cooked egg batter. I also enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, served open faced with cheese, egg and bacon layered over the hearty biscuits used as the bread. Service is super friendly and fast. Highly recommended.

Yelp
While staying in Puerto Vallarta we stopped into Coco's Kitchen for brunch after looking at countless other spots, we all found something on the menu we would like to order. Staff was amazing and went above and beyond to cater to our table and help create a great experience. Food was wonderful and drinks were enjoyable. Thank you again!

Lana J.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast many choices and we loved the fresh green drink! Excellent eggs Benedict, breakfast tortilla, and omelets! Service is excellent and they are very organized. Definitely a go to again place!

Ron M.

Yelp
AMAZING breakfast place in the Romantic Zone! We loved the green juice and the churro pancakes. I would highly recomend the churro pancakes. I loved them. One bit of advice, the people who were there for breakfast were dressed nice and I felt like a bum in shorts and Air Jordan's. Step up your dress when you show up! :)

San Francisco D.

Yelp
I love this place! Great breakfast spot and love the courtyard ambiance. The food here is good as well. Last time I went I had the chili relleno omelette. Interesting take on a Mexican item for breakfast. It was delicious. I recommend!!

Jason P.

Yelp
Finally back in PV and almost 4 years later, I can say Coco's has not missed a beat. Highly recommend

Heather L.

Yelp
Service and food was good but I left kind of hungry. I like having a big breakfast that keeps me full for hours that I can bypass lunch. There are other restaurants that are more affordable with bigger portions.

Paul A.

Yelp
Starting our first full day in Puerto Vallarta! Delicious Bloody Caesar!!! Food review to follow!

Hannah G.

Yelp
We came here every single day of our trip for breakfast because of how much we loved the food, service and atmosphere of Coco's! You can't go wrong with the chilaquiles, eggs Benedict, breakfast burrito, and breakfast sandwich! Everyone here is so attentive and we just absolutely loved our experience here. We would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Alexandra O.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast in the romantic zone! The restaurant is pretty large once you get inside. We ordered the churro hot cakes and stuffed french toast, both with eggs + bacon on the side. Both the hot cakes and french toast were incredibly fluffy and flavorful! The fresh orange juice was also very tasty. Worth the hike up to this place 100%!

Dave B.

Yelp
We ate breakfast here on a Friday morning (Mothers' Day in México) and it was full. Coffee - "delicious" OJ - not good as it was diluted with soda water Smoothie - good French toast - cinnamon roll. Huge portion. A bit to dry for me as I prefer well-soaked bread in egg and milk. Good flavor. Avocado toast with egg. Very fancy and tasty. + cloth napkins + credit cards + music - Mexican + covered outdoor seating - very pleasant + clean toilets $704 for breakfast for 2, inc propina

Mary H.

Yelp
This cafe was so yummy. Lots of American choices so we tried it!!! Mimosas were strong too. Soft homemade bread for French toast with slivers of almonds and berries with cream. Perfecto. Service was kind and quick and always English speaking too so no worries. Inside was a relaxing nature like ambiance. You could hear the birds, feel the breeze and surround by greenery! Hidden treasure!!! Don't miss this one

Pedro V.

Yelp
Never thought I would find a sit down breakfast restaurant that would be very authentic and good tasting. Coco's kitchen is a local restaurant located in Zona Romantica. It feels quite hidden but also very close to the beach. They sat us down as soon as we arrived. We had a party of 5 with us. The host and server were all very inviting and nice. It felt like we were in the jungle because of all the plants and trees that were inside. Started off with a fresh glass of papaya juice. Then ordered the famous chilaquiles with chicken. I ordered them with both sauces and a side of hash browns. The chilaquiles were soft, crispy, and a little kick to them when you add the table salsa they bring you. The bring you a mild and more spicy salsa. Every member in our table enjoyed the food and service.

John J R.

Yelp
Very good service Food was good Prices are reasonable Nice decor They had fans going to keep things cool It's a little humid But then again we're in PV

Yvonne K.

Yelp
It is the most charming garden restaurant with great management and staff. Extremely friendly and you can order any dish they serve and will not be disappointed. Excellent variety of breakfast and lunch items and definitely worth a wait when they are packed

Sophie P.

Yelp
Great brunch spot! The restaurant is cash only so bring your pesos :) I got the green juice which was amazing. The avocado toast was just okay. It was piled high with arugula and the toast was not really toasted. The hash browns were really bland as well. With that said, food other people were getting around me like the French toast looked amazing, so I definitely ordered the wrong thing. The whole restaurant is outdoors with a lot of greenery/plants which was really nice and fans all around the restaurant made it comfortable.

Yelp
This is usually a good place to eat. We've been coming here for years. Today's experience was mediocre. The food was good as usual. The service could have been better. A hello and a smile goes a long way to earning a better tip. Will keep coming back and ensure we get a different server next time.

Eric R.

Yelp
I really liked this place. ...Ate here almost daily. The servers are fun, friendly , and dare I say sexy. The food here is very generous for the price. Notable is the breakfast burrito. It is gigantic! ... And who doesn't enjoy a giant burrito from time to time. The fruit plate is perfectly presented and the refried beans are very flavorful. The toasted cornbread is almost like dessert. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet making the meals even more enjoyable.

Andrew D.

Yelp
Service was good 2/3, and the food was good 1/3. Apple pancakes were good, potato pancakes were not and needed salt, strawberry salad was not wonderful with too much dressing. I liked the smoothie alot. I would come back mostly for the pleasant space, but I found it hard to get service in Spanish. I actually really like the space, and so i'd give 3 stars

Jericho L.

Yelp
Hands down best breakfast spot in PV the food is all great and the service is fast and on point. Very nice open area ambiance seating block from the beach

Caroline G.

Yelp
I lived in PV for a year in 2015 and would come here ALL the time. Every time I go back, I do the same at least once every trip. I love it there. Food is good. Vibe is chill. It's a great breakfast spot with top quality service as well.

Mario G.

Yelp
Must go for a good coffee and breakfast. I can't speak for lunch or dinner but I am sure the food quality and service will be the same.

Charlie W.

Yelp
Amazing breakfast spot in PV. Really nice selection of breakfast items. Had the salmon Benedict and it was delicious and poached eggs were perfect.

Marissa R.

Yelp
What a beautiful place. Great seating and vibe. Lots of lights and plants and space between tables. Servers were pleasant and attentive. We had the most delicious breakfast. Their Chai Latte was amazing - maybe the best we have had. But the real star was the churro pancakes! OMG couldn't ask for a more decadent and fun experience. The breakfast burrito was also amazing and their spicy salsa was great. Will definitely be back at least once before leaving PV. Paid a total of $700 MX with tip for two people. Two drinks two meals and tip.

RICHARD J.

Yelp
What a great find the food was excellent the service was on point! So relaxing and easy going attitude.

Victor P.

Yelp
The service was great and the atmosphere was very lovely for a Sunday brunch. Pecan waffles was absolutely perfect

J B.

Yelp
My family and I loved this place so much we went back 3 times during our 1 week stay in PV! The breakfast burrito and French toast dishes were excellent - along with the fresh fruit plate! Excellent staff and beautiful outdoor garden setting topped it off beautifully - Gracias!

Chris K.

Yelp
Very reliable breakfast / lunch spot -- we went twice and liked our food both times. The portion sizes are filling. Pork chops and corn bread were our favorites.

Nicole S.

Yelp
Good people, great food, good service. Favorite breakfast place in puerta vallarta, server was super tentative and had a great sense of humor. Food came out pretty fast, very relaxing vibes with lots of greenery. Highly recommend.

Jenn H.

Yelp
Yum!! One of the best breakfasts we had while in Puerto Vallarta! I got a passion fruit mimosa which was fresh and delicious, also an order of chilaquiles which is one of my favorite breakfast dishes! We got waffles for the whole table to try and I usually am not a big waffle person at a restaurant but I loved these waffles!! One in our party has celiac and ordered the gluten free hot cakes and said they were delicious and another in our party got the churro pancakes which I highly recommend trying! They were so good I never got a picture of them.

Edwin R.

Yelp
It's an expats and tourist favorite. Coco's kitchen caters to the Westerner with the American breakfast. After a week of eating tacos, I began missing my American food, especially breakfast. Their churos pancake was fantastic. I also enjoyed their fresh mix fruit juice. They use real fruits too. Cappuccino was ok, but overall, the tropical outdoor indoor feel with real trees inside made the experience very nice. I recommend you pay them a visit. Service was good. Cheers!

Jerry C.

Yelp
Coco's is an outdoor patio dining experience. I've been eating breakfast at Coco's over the years as Coco has a very satisfying meal! All the standards are offered, both American and Mexican style. The Mexican omelets are delicious and so are the classic Benedicts (although today's Benedict was perfectly poached but surprisingly only luke warm when served). Fresh juices are great. Service is quick and coffee cups are refilled often. Being shaded and outdoors, just watch out for the bees and wasps that seem to love the jams and ketchup as much as people do.

Mark C.

Yelp
Great breakfast. Try the avocado and bacon Omelette. Also had a pomegranate mimosa that was awesome. Martine our server did a great job. Great service and decent atmosphere .. especially in the back of the restaurant. I wouldn't want to be on the sidewalk though. Prices are good as well.

Dawn O.

Yelp
Great apple pancakes. They look like hash browns. Never had anything like it. Terrible cappuccino, bland eggs, good bacon and hash browns. No flavor on their food. The staff gets very aggressive and rude when it comes down to how they want to be tipped. Took my card and then came back to the table to tell me he put 20% tip on my card before asking me how much I wanted to tip them. And my first time I went there, the waiter got loud and aggressive and got mad because I left a $3.00 tip on a $7.00 meal. I vowed not to go back , but I did just for the apple pancakes. But they can't even make good coffee. Has a Beautiful atmosphere. Highly recommend and prefer Mi Cafe coffee and restaurant over Coco's

Alicia T.

Yelp
Good, tasty brunch. The place is BUZZING with activity, and yet sometimes you can't get someone to get you your check! There's lot of help constantly in action but somehow they're not doing things efficiently, saw a lot of people waiting for help. The chilaquiles were good though, very generous portions.

Carolina R.

Yelp
Good for tourists good for locals. Amazing food, the churro pancakes will make you want to come but the classic French toast will keep you coming back. Service is a bit slow but it's worth it.

Margaret T.

Yelp
A lot of restaurants we wanted to try only offered omelettes as the main vegetarian option for breakfast. Thankfully we came across Coco's! It's a cute restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating. We ordered the fresh grapefruit juice, Coco's salad, and veggie enchiladas. Coco's salad was light and fresh! It included mixed greens, beets, mango, goat cheese, almond slivers, and comes with a guava dressing. You can also request protein for an additional fee. For the enchiladas, you have the choice of red or green sauce. My server recommended the red sauce and it was just okay. I requested some hot sauce and that made all the difference. FYI: there's also free wifi! Password is written on a sign hanging from one of the trees. Took me a minute to find it.

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
We enjoy Coco's Kitchen for its American-ized spin on Mexican food. The best of both worlds when hungry for a bit more American brunch than traditional Mexican food. Chilaquiles are delicious! Coffee hot and plentiful. Wait staff super friendly and respectful.

Ron T.

Yelp
Great food, wonderful, ambience, and strong drinks in this beautiful courtyard setting.

Kristin C.

Yelp
10/10!! This should be your first stop if you're looking for great food AND atmosphere! The breakfast burrito was the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. The Cinnamon Roll French toast was out of this world. We are literally stopping at Coco's Kitchen first thing we get back to Vallarta. I'm sure you're aware the quality and taste of food in Mexico is hit or miss, but coco's kitchen DOESN'T MISS! Everything was fresh and delicious. You won't regret it.

Jessica J.

Yelp
Great breakfast and friendly staff. They open at 8:00am and take credit cards. Close walk up from the beach and in the shade. Had high chairs for a baby. Recommend this place for breakfast

Jack W.

Yelp
Beautiful patio that blends inside and outside together and the food was pretty good. However, it's a bit pricy relative to other options (though you're paying for location so know that). I struggle with 5 stars because we had some pretty spotty service. When we arrived we got put on a waitlist but they almost seated a group that showed up after us. It was an awkward scramble where they turned them around and then sat us instead. Then we were seated and waited a while 10-15 minutes before they took our order. However, they took the table that was seated 10 minutes after us (and who had more people) before taking ours and so their food arrived before ours as well. They also forgot a side I had ordered, but they didn't charge so it was not a big deal. Overall, would I give them a second shot, sure. But there are lots of places with equally good (or better) food for a much better price and better service.

Russell P.

Yelp
I enjoy the laid back atmosphere of the open air patio in the back. My new favorite omelette is the chili relleno. Very good coffee. Staff are attentive & will remember you. They prefer CASH but will accept cc.

Wennie H.

Yelp
Solid spot for food, has American options as well. Food came out sort of slowly despite the restaurant not being full but it was pretty tasty. I got the churro hotcakes and they were definitely fluffier than pancakes I'm used to in the states. Interior is cool because it's sort of a garden and it definitely helps keep you cool(er)!

Dylan M.

Yelp
Coco's is one of those places I walk by all the time when visiting and it's always busy and has a cute vibe to it. The service was good, they worked as a team while we were there. The food however was blah. The biscuit to the egg sandwich was dry and crumbled into pieces making it more of a fork dish than a sandwich. And the shrimp salad was just average. Maybe it was an off day during the slow season for the kitchen but I would t make a point to return.

Slick E.

Yelp
Nice vibe Good service Basic menu Chilli rellano omelet good Coffee hood Many bees
