Cocotal Golf & Country Club

Nice golf course. Fairways need to be cut more. Rough is crazy. Short but fluffy. Losing balls that just berry them self in the fluff. Greens are slow with little break. But overall a really good course. Wide and forgiving.

Good course. I wanted to rate it higher but too many challenges with maintenance of course, pace of play, rough, greens, and overall display. This course has been, and probably will be again. Many new homes and residents going up. Hopefully it will inject necessary funds into the revitalization if this course with great bones. It is not worth $169! Not currently. Not in present condition. OAN: staff and pro shop customer service was phenomenal!

Played 4 rounds of golf here and the courses were phenomenal. The option to mix and match 3 different 9 hole courses really makes for a great few days of golf. Some fairways are tight and that made for a nice challenge.

The place was nice, I never met the host. I wasn't checked in or out, I wasn't sent a welcome email had to get my brother to get me in the gate bad address I looked for the place over two hours and finally the host asked for all my information, I completed it after they asked me for pictures of my iD, credit card and passport made me take pictures twice with each one. Then when I finally found the room with security they said they didn't believe it was me, I had to send pictures of me with credit card, ID and passport by the door all over again stood outside 45 minutes before I received an code for the door, I never seen the electric meter but was charged for it. I stayed alone used one room and was charged host was terrible I checked in and out without seeing a soul

As a frequent global traveler, this location left a terrible first impression. The security is excessive—bordering on Fort Knox levels—which gives the impression that the area is unsafe. Ride-share services like Uber and Lyft are nearly impossible to use due to a required QR code for entry and exit. Your only options are renting a car or hiring a driver, but be warned: drivers overcharge significantly. The only workaround is walking 0.5 to 1 mile to the front gate just to catch a ride—completely unreasonable. Bottom line: Avoid this place and book an Airbnb with better accessibility. The golf course is decent, but the clubhouse is under construction, limiting its use.

I like it bc it is safe, gated, nice place to live with kids. It could be beautiful, but, unfortunately, they ruin it with the way they treat trees and plants, very unprofessionally and actually kind of cruelly. Although that seems to happen everywhere in Bávaro... I don't play golf, so couldn't rate the golf part...

The Cocotal Golf Course and its infrastructure are excellent! The private classes with Kevin were absolutely amazing he is a fantastic instructor and made the experience very enjoyable. However, I had a disappointing experience with the chauffeur service. After my class, I waited in the lobby to be picked up and noticed the golf course transportation parked nearby. I saw the driver leaving with his backpack, so I ran to ask for a ride back to the Paradisus Palma Real. To my surprise, the driver responded loudly and angrily, saying he was about to go home and now had to drive me back. He blamed me for taking a later class and being the last client, even though this was not my fault. He also accused me of not communicating with him beforehand, despite the fact that I was never provided with his contact information. The experience left me feeling extremely disrespected and uncomfortable. Next time, I’ll opt for an Uber instead, even though transportation is included with the hotel stay. The chauffeur’s behavior was unacceptable and put a damper on an otherwise great day.

Very spectacular and beautiful residence‼️ Exteriors and interiors are very pleasing. BUT, there are a lot of people and even more dogs. Unfortunately, not all people follow the rules and order. Dogs are released without a belt, they often make noise and listen to loud music.
