Cocotier du Rocher

Cocotier is a special place that you'd be foolish to not consider for your stay in La Digue. Before I talk about the property, I want to talk about the level of service provided by Stephan and his staff. They are as top notch as it gets. If you ask for something, not only does it happen, it happens quickly. The level of service rivals that of brand name luxury hotels that we have stayed at. It was impressive to say the least. As for the property, it's well maintained and full of beautiful flora. It was close enough to the downtown area to be convenient but far enough to be quiet and private. The room was very clean and refreshed daily. Plenty of hot water, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable. Overall, it was the ideal spot but what really made it was Stephan. I really can't say enough about how he treated us during our stay and how it contributed to an amazing stay on the island. You won't regret staying here!!!

We came back exactly 10 years after we first visited. And I am so glad we did. Cocotier Du Rocher is located in a tropical garden that makes you relax and enjoy from the first moment. We felt like coming back to old friends we hadn't seen in a long time. The location consists of small houses that are fully equipped for self-catering, complete with kitchen, a big fridge, and all you need. Traveling with two small children, sometimes the rooms in normal hotels feel a bit small when needing extra beds. Not here, we had a king-size and two normal beds for the kids, and the big veranda including two sunbeds is perfect for a family. The nice bathroom including a walk-in shower, air conditioning, ceiling fan, and an additional outdoor shower completed the beautiful and clean house we stayed in.||The location on the island is actually a secret plus. Essentially, you can get everywhere on the West Coast within 15 minutes by bike. So getting around is easy and quick, but at the same time, you might want to avoid the day tourist stream that moves from the port down to Anse Source d'Argent and back. If you stay a couple of days on La Digue, you might want to go to Anse Severe for the sunset, down to Grand Anse, Petite Anse, and Anse Coco, or go up the hill to Nid d'Aigle or the Veuve Nature Reserve and other locations. Cocotier du Rocher is almost perfectly located to get quickly to all these locations.||Finally, Stephan and his team are always helpful and provide tips and suggestions to further enjoy this dream island. Stephan and his team are part of the island's community, and we felt that more than once when we ran into some small unplanned things while exploring the island. When people asked us where we were staying, they went above and beyond immediately to help us.||We can absolutely recommend it.

My husband and I stayed for 4 days and we had a wonderful stay there. The owner Stephan was very supportive, responsive and friendly the whole time and made our stay very comfortable. Whenever we needed anything or couldn’t find a tour guide he helped us. The bungalow had everything that we needed and was around 5 min by bike from the city center. You can rent bikes directly from there which makes it quite convenient. After check out there is a shower and restroom available.

Me and my wife stayed in Cocotier Du Rocher three times in three different rooms. All of them were beautiful. We were always very satisfied and would never consider different choice on La Digue. Stephan is extremely supportive and friendly host, the rooms are clean and all works as it should.

We recently stayed here for two relaxing nights. The guesthouse itself is not super fancy, but very well worth the money. Each staff member we met was incredibly nice and helpful, even helping to organize the taxi to be there when we arrived from the ferry. The room was very clean, spotless, and it was nice to have a full kitchen to cook on our own. The way each individual cottage is tucked away behind the trees, gives off a very secluded feel. When we sat on our lounge chairs on the porch, it felt very, very private. We rented bicycles from the guesthouse, which was super convenient. The location is a quick, easy, 10 min bike ride down to the beach through a beautiful jungle setting. It's also around the corner from a great food take-away place, Rey and Josh, which we went to a few times during our stay. ||||We wouldn't hesitate to return again!

Excellent stay at La Digue, Stephan was a great host, always available and willing to help. He also gave some great tips on where to eat and best places to go to. The chalets were spacious and well equiped. Too bad when you have loud neighbors, as the place is so calm and peaceful. I was received with some nice fresh coconuts to drink 🥥.

Amazing place! Bungalows are spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and really clean. A beautiful garden surrounds all bungalows. Stephan was a gr8 and helpful host, giving us tips about what to do and where to go, it was also lovely to chat with him about various topics. We highly recommend Cocotier Du Rocher!

Very nice place surrounded by nature with exotic plants. complete privacy between each bungalow. The rooms are very clean with all amenities. Location is perfect as half way between anse severe beach and source dargent beach.. The staff are very friendly and willing to help.. I was their with my familly for two days last weekend.
